Hebrew - article, prepositions and conjunctions

In Hebrew, prepositions and conjunctions are written together with the next word, like our prefixes.
The definite article is also written together.

Gen 1:1

Temple

The House of God, or as it is also called the Temple of God in Hebrew, is simply a HOUSE with a definite article.

‏הַבַּיִת (a-Beit) - temple.

הַר ‏הַבַּיִת (Har a-Beit) - Temple mountain.

Name

- שֵׁם (shem) - name.

‏הַשֵׁם (Ha-Shem) - Yahweh.

Messiah

מָשִׁיחַ (mashiach) - the anointed one.

‏הַמָשִׁיחַ (Ha-Mashiach) - The Anointed One (Christ).

    example: בְּבַּיִת (bebeit — in house), בְּפַטִישׁ (bepatísh — hummer).

עַל (al). — about:
    example: הוּא מְדַבֵּר עַל (hu medabér al… — he speaks about…).

לִפְנֵי (lifnéi) — before.

אַחֲרֵי (aharéi) — after.

מֵאֲחוֹרֵי (meahoréi) — behind
    example: מֵאֲחוֹרֵי הַבַּיִת נִמְצָא גַּן (meahoréi habáit nimtcá gan — there is a garden behind the house).

עַד (ad) — til
    example: עַד הַבַּיִת (ad habáit — til house)

מִן (min) — from
    example: מִן הַחֶדֶר (min hakhéder — from room), מִן הָעַמוּד (min haamúd) — from post.

עִם (im) — with
    example: אֲנִי עִם דָוִד (aní im Dávid — I'm with David).

אֵת (et) — at
    example: אֵת הַבַּיִת (et habáit — at house).

אֵצֶל (etcél — at)
    example: אֵצֶל דָוִד (etcél Dávid — David has)

Name

שֵׁם (shem) — name

ב שֵׁם ( beshém ) - by name
      example: Blessing the next in The name of the Lord coming in the name Yahweh!)

לְ שֵׁם ( leshem ) - in name
      example: L Shem Yahweh ( leshém Adonai - in the name of Yahweh)

עַל שֵׁם ( al shem ) - of name
      example: עַל שֵׁם אֲחֵיהֶם )

מי שֵׁם ( mishém ) - on behalf of
      example: he said this m - it's one of many names)
