וַיַּדְבְּק֣וּ ^H1692 פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים ^H6430 אֶת־^H853שָׁא֖וּל ^H7586 וְאֶת־^H853בָּנָ֑יו ^H1121 וַיַּכּ֣וּ ^H5221 פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים ^H6430 אֶת־^H853יְהוֹנָתָ֧ן ^H3083 וְאֶת־^H853אֲבִינָדָ֛ב ^H41 וְאֶת־^H853מַלְכִּי־שׁ֖וּעַ ^H4444 בְּנֵ֥י ^H1121 שָׁאֽוּל׃ ^H7586	2	And the Philistines^H6430 overtook^H1692 Saul^H7586 and his sons;^H1121 and the Philistines^H6430 killed^H5221 Jonathan^H3083 and Abinadab^H41 and Malchi-shua the sons^H1121 of Saul.^H7586	καὶ^G2532 συνάπτουσιν ἀλλόφυλοι^G246 τῷ^G3588 Σαουλ^G4549 καὶ^G2532 τοῖς^G3588 υἱοῖς^G5207 αὐτοῦ,^G846 καὶ^G2532 τύπτουσιν^G5180 ἀλλόφυλοι^G246 τὸν^G3588 Ιωναθαν καὶ^G2532 τὸν^G3588 Αμιναδαβ^G284 καὶ^G2532 τὸν^G3588 Μελχισα υἱοὺς^G5207 Σαουλ.^G4549
וַתִּכְבַּ֤ד ^H3513 הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ ^H4421 אֶל־^H413שָׁא֔וּל ^H7586 וַיִּמְצָאֻ֥הוּ ^H4672 הַמּוֹרִ֖ים ^H3384 אֲנָשִׁ֣ים ^H582 בַּקָּ֑שֶׁת ^H7198 וַיָּ֥חֶל ^H2342 מְאֹ֖ד ^H3966 מֵהַמּוֹרִֽים׃ ^H3384	3	And the battle^H4421 went^H3513 heavily^H3513 against^H413 Saul,^H7586 and the archers^H3384 ^H376 ^H7198 hit^H4672 him; and he was badly^H3966 wounded^H9123 by the archers.^H3384	καὶ^G2532 βαρύνεται^G925 ὁ^G3588 πόλεμος^G4171 ἐπὶ^G1909 Σαουλ,^G4549 καὶ^G2532 εὑρίσκουσιν^G2147 αὐτὸν^G846 οἱ^G3588 ἀκοντισταί, ἄνδρες^G435 τοξόται, καὶ^G2532 ἐτραυματίσθη^G5135 εἰς^G1519 τὰ^G3588 ὑποχόνδρια.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 שָׁאוּל֩ ^H7586 לְנֹשֵׂ֨א ^H5375 כֵלָ֜יו ^H3627 שְׁלֹ֥ף ^H8025 חַרְבְּךָ֣ ^H2719 ׀ וְדָקְרֵ֣נִי ^H1856 בָ֗הּ פֶּן־^H6435יָ֠בוֹאוּ ^H935 הָעֲרֵלִ֨ים ^H6189 הָאֵ֤לֶּה ^H428 וּדְקָרֻ֙נִי֙ ^H1856 וְהִתְעַלְּלוּ־^H5953בִ֔י וְלֹ֤א ^H3808 אָבָה֙ ^H14 נֹשֵׂ֣א ^H5375 כֵלָ֔יו ^H3627 כִּ֥י ^H3588 יָרֵ֖א ^H3372 מְאֹ֑ד ^H3966 וַיִּקַּ֤ח ^H3947 שָׁאוּל֙ ^H7586 אֶת־^H853הַחֶ֔רֶב ^H2719 וַיִּפֹּ֖ל ^H5307 עָלֶֽיהָ׃ ^H5921	4	Then Saul^H7586 said^H559 to his armor^H3627 bearer,^H5375 "Draw^H8025 your sword^H2719 and pierce^H1856 me through^H1856 with it, lest^H6435 these^H428 uncircumcised^H6189 come^H935 and pierce^H1856 me through^H1856 and make^H9412 sport^H9412 of me." וַיַּ֥רְא ^H7200 נֹשֵֽׂא־^H5375כֵלָ֖יו ^H3627 כִּ֣י ^H3588 מֵ֣ת ^H4191 שָׁא֑וּל ^H7586 וַיִּפֹּ֥ל ^H5307 גַּם־^H1571ה֛וּא ^H1931 עַל־^H5921חַרְבּ֖וֹ ^H2719 וַיָּ֥מָת ^H4191 עִמּֽוֹ׃ ^H5973	5	And when his armor^H3627 bearer^H5375 saw^H7200 that Saul^H7586 was dead,^H4191 he also^H1571 fell^H5307 on his sword^H2719 and died^H4191 with him.	καὶ^G2532 εἶδεν^G3708 ὁ^G3588 αἴρων^G142 τὰ^G3588 σκεύη^G4632 αὐτοῦ^G846 ὅτι^G3754 τέθνηκεν^G2348 Σαουλ,^G4549 καὶ^G2532 ἐπέπεσεν^G1968 καὶ^G2532 αὐτὸς^G846 ἐπὶ^G1909 τὴν^G3588 ῥομφαίαν^G4501 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἀπέθανεν^G599 μετ᾽^G3326 αὐτοῦ.^G846
וַיָּ֣מָת ^H4191 שָׁא֡וּל ^H7586 וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת ^H7969 בָּנָיו֩ ^H1121 וְנֹשֵׂ֨א ^H5375 כֵלָ֜יו ^H3627 גַּ֧ם ^H1571 כָּל־^H3605אֲנָשָׁ֛יו ^H376 בַּיּ֥וֹם ^H3117 הַה֖וּא ^H1931 יַחְדָּֽו׃ ^H3162	6	Thus Saul^H7586 died^H4191 with his three^H7969 sons,^H1121 his armor^H3627 bearer,^H5375 and all^H3605 his men^H376 on that day^H3117 together.^H9191	καὶ^G2532 ἀπέθανεν^G599 Σαουλ^G4549 καὶ^G2532 οἱ^G3588 τρεῖς^G5140 υἱοὶ^G5207 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 αἴρων^G142 τὰ^G3588 σκεύη^G4632 αὐτοῦ^G846 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ἡμέρᾳ^G2250 ἐκείνῃ^G1565 κατὰ^G2596 τὸ^G3588 αὐτό.^G846
וַיִּרְא֣וּ ^H7200 אַנְשֵֽׁי־^H376יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל ^H3478 אֲשֶׁר־^H834בְּעֵ֨בֶר ^H5676 הָעֵ֜מֶק ^H6010 וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר ^H834 ׀ בְּעֵ֣בֶר ^H5676 הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן ^H3383 כִּֽי־^H3588נָ֙סוּ֙ ^H5127 אַנְשֵׁ֣י ^H376 יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ^H3478 וְכִי־^H3588מֵ֖תוּ ^H4191 שָׁא֣וּל ^H7586 וּבָנָ֑יו ^H1121 וַיַּעַזְב֤וּ ^H5800 אֶת־^H853הֶֽעָרִים֙ ^H5892 וַיָּנֻ֔סוּ ^H5127 וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ ^H935 פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים ^H6430 וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ ^H3427 בָּהֶֽן׃ ס	7	And when the men^H376 of Israel^H3478 who^H834 were on the other^H5676 side^H5676 of the valley,^H6010 with those who^H834 were beyond^H5676 the Jordan,^H3383 saw^H7200 that the men^H376 of Israel^H3478 had fled^H5127 and that Saul^H7586 and his sons^H1121 were dead,^H4191 they abandoned^H5800 the cities^H5892 and fled;^H5127 then the Philistines^H6430 came^H935 and lived^H3427 in them.	καὶ^G2532 εἶδον^G3708 οἱ^G3588 ἄνδρες^G435 Ισραηλ^G2474 οἱ^G3588 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 πέραν^G4008 τῆς^G3588 κοιλάδος καὶ^G2532 οἱ^G3588 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 πέραν^G4008 τοῦ^G3588 Ιορδάνου^G2446 ὅτι^G3754 ἔφυγον^G5343 οἱ^G3588 ἄνδρες^G435 Ισραηλ^G2474 καὶ^G2532 ὅτι^G3754 τέθνηκεν^G2348 Σαουλ^G4549 καὶ^G2532 οἱ^G3588 υἱοὶ^G5207 αὐτοῦ,^G846 καὶ^G2532 καταλείπουσιν^G2641 τὰς^G3588 πόλεις^G4172 αὐτῶν^G846 καὶ^G2532 φεύγουσιν·^G5343 καὶ^G2532 ἔρχονται^G2064 οἱ^G3588 ἀλλόφυλοι^G246 καὶ^G2532 κατοικοῦσιν^G2730 ἐν^G1722 αὐταῖς.^G846
וַֽיְהִי֙ ^H1961 מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת ^H4283 וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ ^H935 פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים ^H6430 לְפַשֵּׁ֖ט ^H6584 אֶת־^H853הַחֲלָלִ֑ים ^H2491 וַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּ ^H4672 אֶת־^H853שָׁאוּל֙ ^H7586 וְאֶת־^H853שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת ^H7969 בָּנָ֔יו ^H1121 נֹפְלִ֖ים ^H5307 בְּהַ֥ר ^H2022 הַגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃ ^H1533	8	And it came^H1961 about on the next^H4283 day^H4283 when the Philistines^H6430 came^H935 to strip^H6584 the slain,^H2491 that they found^H4672 Saul^H7586 and his three^H7969 sons^H1121 fallen^H5307 on Mount^H2022 Gilboa.^H1533	καὶ^G2532 ἐγενήθη^G1096 τῇ^G3588 ἐπαύριον^G1887 καὶ^G2532 ἔρχονται^G2064 οἱ^G3588 ἀλλόφυλοι^G246 ἐκδιδύσκειν τοὺς^G3588 νεκροὺς^G3498 καὶ^G2532 εὑρίσκουσιν^G2147 τὸν^G3588 Σαουλ^G4549 καὶ^G2532 τοὺς^G3588 τρεῖς^G5140 υἱοὺς^G5207 αὐτοῦ^G846 πεπτωκότας^G4098 ἐπὶ^G1909 τὰ^G3588 ὄρη^G3735 Γελβουε.
וַֽיִּכְרְתוּ֙ ^H3772 אֶת־^H853רֹאשׁ֔וֹ ^H7218 וַיַּפְשִׁ֖יטוּ ^H6584 אֶת־^H853כֵּלָ֑יו ^H3627 וַיְשַׁלְּח֨וּ ^H7971 בְאֶֽרֶץ־^H776פְּלִשְׁתִּ֜ים ^H6430 סָבִ֗יב ^H5439 לְבַשֵּׂ֛ר ^H1319 בֵּ֥ית ^H1004 עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם ^H6091 וְאֶת־^H853הָעָֽם׃ ^H5971	9	And they cut^H3772 off^H3772 his head,^H7218 and stripped^H6584 off^H6584 his weapons,^H3627 and sent^H7971 [them] throughout^H5439 the land^H776 of the Philistines,^H6430 to carry^H1319 the good news^H1319 to the house^H1004 of their idols^H6091 and to the people.^H5971	καὶ^G2532 ἀποστρέφουσιν^G654 αὐτὸν^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐξέδυσαν^G1562 τὰ^G3588 σκεύη^G4632 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἀποστέλλουσιν^G649 αὐτὰ^G846 εἰς^G1519 γῆν^G1065 ἀλλοφύλων^G246 κύκλῳ^G2945 εὐαγγελίζοντες^G2097 τοῖς^G3588 εἰδώλοις^G1497 αὐτῶν^G846 καὶ^G2532 τῷ^G3588 λαῷ^G2992 αὐτῶν·^G846
וַיָּשִׂ֙מוּ֙ ^H7760 אֶת־^H853כֵּלָ֔יו ^H3627 בֵּ֖ית ^H1004 עַשְׁתָּר֑וֹת ^H6252 וְאֶת־^H853גְּוִיָּתוֹ֙ ^H1472 תָּקְע֔וּ ^H8628 בְּחוֹמַ֖ת ^H2346 בֵּ֥ית שָֽׁן׃ ^H1052	10	And they put^H7760 his weapons^H3627 in the temple^H1004 of Ashtaroth,^H9441 and they fastened^H8628 his body^H1472 to the wall^H2346 of Beth-shan.	καὶ^G2532 ἀνέθηκαν^G394 τὰ^G3588 σκεύη^G4632 αὐτοῦ^G846 εἰς^G1519 τὸ^G3588 Ἀσταρτεῖον καὶ^G2532 τὸ^G3588 σῶμα^G4983 αὐτοῦ^G846 κατέπηξαν ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 τείχει^G5038 Βαιθσαν.
וַיִּשְׁמְע֣וּ ^H8085 אֵלָ֔יו ^H413 יֹשְׁבֵ֖י ^H3427 יָבֵ֣ישׁ ^H3003 גִּלְעָ֑ד ^H1568 אֵ֛ת ^H853 אֲשֶׁר־^H834עָשׂ֥וּ ^H6213 פְלִשְׁתִּ֖ים ^H6430 לְשָׁאֽוּל׃ ^H7586	11	Now when the inhabitants^H3427 of Jabesh-gilead heard^H8085 what^H834 the Philistines^H6430 had done^H6213 to Saul,^H7586	καὶ^G2532 ἀκούουσιν^G191 οἱ^G3588 κατοικοῦντες^G2730 Ιαβις τῆς^G3588 Γαλααδίτιδος ἃ^G3739 ἐποίησαν^G4160 οἱ^G3588 ἀλλόφυλοι^G246 τῷ^G3588 Σαουλ.^G4549
וַיָּק֜וּמוּ ^H6965 כָּל־^H3605אִ֣ישׁ ^H376 חַיִל֮ ^H2428 וַיֵּלְכ֣וּ ^H1980 כָל־^H3605הַלַּיְלָה֒ ^H3915 וַיִּקְח֞וּ ^H3947 אֶת־^H853גְּוִיַּ֣ת ^H1472 שָׁא֗וּל ^H7586 וְאֵת֙ ^H853 גְּוִיֹּ֣ת ^H1472 בָּנָ֔יו ^H1121 מֵחוֹמַ֖ת ^H2346 בֵּ֣ית שָׁ֑ן ^H1052 וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ ^H935 יָבֵ֔שָׁה ^H3003 וַיִּשְׂרְפ֥וּ ^H8313 אֹתָ֖ם ^H853 שָֽׁם׃ ^H8033	12	all^H3605 the valiant^H2428 men^H376 rose^H6965 and walked^H1980 all^H3605 night,^H3915 and took^H3947 the body^H1472 of Saul^H7586 and the bodies^H1472 of his sons^H1121 from the wall^H2346 of Beth-shan, and they came^H935 to Jabesh,^H3003 and burned^H8313 them there.^H8033	καὶ^G2532 ἀνέστησαν^G450 πᾶς^G3956 ἀνὴρ^G435 δυνάμεως^G1411 καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθησαν^G4198 ὅλην^G3650 τὴν^G3588 νύκτα^G3571 καὶ^G2532 ἔλαβον^G2983 τὸ^G3588 σῶμα^G4983 Σαουλ^G4549 καὶ^G2532 τὸ^G3588 σῶμα^G4983 Ιωναθαν τοῦ^G3588 υἱοῦ^G5207 αὐτοῦ^G846 ἀπὸ^G575 τείχους^G5038 Βαιθσαν καὶ^G2532 φέρουσιν^G5342 αὐτοὺς^G846 εἰς^G1519 Ιαβις καὶ^G2532 κατακαίουσιν^G2618 αὐτοὺς^G846 ἐκεῖ.^G1563
וַיִּקְחוּ֙ ^H3947 אֶת־^H853עַצְמֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם ^H6106 וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ ^H6912 תַֽחַת־^H8478הָאֶ֖שֶׁל ^H815 בְּיָבֵ֑שָׁה ^H3003 וַיָּצֻ֖מוּ ^H6684 שִׁבְעַ֥ת ^H7651 יָמִֽים׃ ^H3117 פ	13	And they took^H3947 their bones^H6106 and buried^H6912 them under^H8478 the tamarisk^H815 tree^H815 at Jabesh,^H3003 and fasted^H6684 seven^H7651 days.^H3117	καὶ^G2532 λαμβάνουσιν^G2983 τὰ^G3588 ὀστᾶ^G3747 αὐτῶν^G846 καὶ^G2532 θάπτουσιν^G2290 ὑπὸ^G5259 τὴν^G3588 ἄρουραν τὴν^G3588 Ιαβις καὶ^G2532 νηστεύουσιν^G3522 ἑπτὰ^G2033 ἡμέρας.^G2250
