μετατιθεμενης ^G3346 ^G5746 γαρ ^G1063 της ^G3588 ιερωσυνης ^G2420 εξ ^G1537 αναγκης ^G318 και ^G2532 νομου ^G3551 μεταθεσις ^G3331 γινεται ^G1096 ^G5736	12	For when the priesthood^G2420 is changed,^G3346 of necessity^G318 there takes^G1096 place^G1096 a change^G3331 of law^G3551 also.^G2532
εφ ^G1909 ον ^G3739 γαρ ^G1063 λεγεται ^G3004 ^G5743 ταυτα ^G5023 φυλης ^G5443 ετερας ^G2087 μετεσχηκεν ^G3348 ^G5758 αφ ^G575 ης ^G3739 ουδεις ^G3762 προσεσχηκεν ^G4337 ^G5758 τω ^G3588 θυσιαστηριω ^G2379	13	For the one concerning^G1909 whom^G3739 these^G3778 things^G3778 are spoken^G3004 belongs^G3348 to another^G2087 tribe,^G5443 from which^G3739 no^G3762 one^G3762 has officiated^G4337 at the altar.^G2379

ος ^G3739 ου ^G3756 κατα ^G2596 νομον ^G3551 εντολης ^G1785 σαρκικης ^G4559 γεγονεν ^G1096 ^G5754 αλλα ^G235 κατα ^G2596 δυναμιν ^G1411 ζωης ^G2222 ακαταλυτου ^G179	16	who^G3739 has become^G1096 [such] not on the basis^G2596 of a law^G3551 of physical^G4560 requirement,^G1785 but according^G2596 to the power^G1411 of an indestructible^G179 life.^G2222
μαρτυρει ^G3140 ^G5719 γαρ ^G1063 οτι ^G3754 συ ^G4771 ιερευς ^G2409 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 αιωνα ^G165 κατα ^G2596 την ^G3588 ταξιν ^G5010 μελχισεδεκ ^G3198	17	For it is witnessed^G3140 [of Him], "Thou art a priest^G2409 forever^G165 According^G2596 to the order^G5010 of Melchizedek.^G3198"
αθετησις ^G115 μεν ^G3303 γαρ ^G1063 γινεται ^G1096 ^G5736 προαγουσης ^G4254 ^G5723 εντολης ^G1785 δια ^G1223 το ^G3588 αυτης ^G846 ασθενες ^G772 και ^G2532 ανωφελες ^G512	18	For, on the one^G3303 hand,^G3303 there is a setting^G115 aside^G115 of a former^G4254 commandment^G1785 because^G1223 of its weakness^G772 and uselessness^G512
ουδεν ^G3762 γαρ ^G1063 ετελειωσεν ^G5048 ^G5656 ο ^G3588 νομος ^G3551 επεισαγωγη ^G1898 δε ^G1161 κρειττονος ^G2909 ελπιδος ^G1680 δι ^G1223 ης ^G3739 εγγιζομεν ^G1448 ^G5719 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316	19	(for the Law^G3551 made^G5048 nothing^G3762 perfect^G5048), and on the other^G1161 hand^G1161 there is a bringing^G1898 in of a better^G2909 hope,^G1680 through^G1223 which^G3739 we draw^G1448 near^G1448 to God.^G2316
και ^G2532 καθ ^G2596 οσον ^G3745 ου ^G3756 χωρις ^G5565 ορκωμοσιας ^G3728	20	And inasmuch^G2596 ^G3745 as [it was] not without^G5565 an oath^G3728
οι ^G3588 μεν ^G3303 γαρ ^G1063 χωρις ^G5565 ορκωμοσιας ^G3728 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 ιερεις ^G2409 γεγονοτες ^G1096 ^G5756 ο ^G3588 δε ^G1161 μετα ^G3326 ορκωμοσιας ^G3728 δια ^G1223 του ^G3588 λεγοντος ^G3004 ^G5723 προς ^G4314 αυτον ^G846 ωμοσεν ^G3660 ^G5656 κυριος ^G2962 και ^G2532 ου ^G3756 μεταμεληθησεται ^G3338 ^G5700 συ ^G4771 ιερευς ^G2409 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 αιωνα ^G165 κατα ^G2596 την ^G3588 ταξιν ^G5010 μελχισεδεκ ^G3198	21	(for they indeed^G3303 became^G1096 priests^G2409 without^G5565 an oath,^G3728 but He with an oath^G3728 through^G1223 the One who said^G3004 to Him, "The Lord^G2962 has sworn^G3660 And will not change^G3338 His mind,^G3338 'Thou art a priest^G2409 forever^G165'");
κατα ^G2596 τοσουτον ^G5118 κρειττονος ^G2909 διαθηκης ^G1242 γεγονεν ^G1096 ^G5754 εγγυος ^G1450 ιησους ^G2424	22	so^G5118 much^G5118 the more^G2596 also^G2532 Jesus^G2424 has become^G1096 the guarantee^G1450 of a better^G2909 covenant.^G1242
και ^G2532 οι ^G3588 μεν ^G3303 πλειονες ^G4119 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 γεγονοτες ^G1096 ^G5756 ιερεις ^G2409 δια ^G1223 το ^G3588 θανατω ^G2288 κωλυεσθαι ^G2967 ^G5745 παραμενειν ^G3887 ^G5721	23	And the [former] priests,^G2409 on the one^G3303 hand,^G3303 existed^G1510 ^G1096 in greater^G4183 numbers,^G4183 because^G1223 they were prevented^G2967 by death^G2288 from continuing,^G3887
ο ^G3588 δε ^G1161 δια ^G1223 το ^G3588 μενειν ^G3306 ^G5721 αυτον ^G846 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 αιωνα ^G165 απαραβατον ^G531 εχει ^G2192 ^G5719 την ^G3588 ιερωσυνην ^G2420	24	but He, on the other^G1161 hand,^G1161 because^G1223 He abides^G3306 forever,^G165 holds^G2192 His priesthood^G2420 permanently.^G531
οθεν ^G3606 και ^G2532 σωζειν ^G4982 ^G5721 εις ^G1519 το ^G3588 παντελες ^G3838 δυναται ^G1410 ^G5736 τους ^G3588 προσερχομενους ^G4334 ^G5740 δι ^G1223 αυτου ^G846 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 παντοτε ^G3842 ζων ^G2198 ^G5723 εις ^G1519 το ^G3588 εντυγχανειν ^G1793 ^G5721 υπερ ^G5228 αυτων ^G846	25	Hence,^G3606 also,^G2532 He is able^G1410 to save^G4982 forever^G1519 ^G3838 those^G3588 who draw^G4334 near^G4334 to God^G2316 through^G1223 Him, since He always^G3842 lives^G2198 to make^G1793 intercession^G1793 for them.

ος ^G3739 ουκ ^G3756 εχει ^G2192 ^G5719 καθ ^G2596 ημεραν ^G2250 αναγκην ^G318 ωσπερ ^G5618 οι ^G3588 αρχιερεις ^G749 προτερον ^G4386 υπερ ^G5228 των ^G3588 ιδιων ^G2398 αμαρτιων ^G266 θυσιας ^G2378 αναφερειν ^G399 ^G5721 επειτα ^G1899 των ^G3588 του ^G3588 λαου ^G2992 τουτο ^G5124 γαρ ^G1063 εποιησεν ^G4160 ^G5656 εφαπαξ ^G2178 εαυτον ^G1438 ανενεγκας ^G399 ^G5660	27	who^G3739 does not need^G318 daily,^G2596 ^G2250 like^G5618 those^G3588 high^G749 priests,^G749 to offer^G399 up sacrifices,^G2378 first^G4387 for His own^G2398 sins,^G266 and then^G1899 for the [sins] of the people,^G2992 because^G1063 this^G3778 He did^G4160 once^G2178 for all^G2178 when He offered^G399 up Himself.^G1438
ο ^G3588 νομος ^G3551 γαρ ^G1063 ανθρωπους ^G444 καθιστησιν ^G2525 ^G5719 αρχιερεις ^G749 εχοντας ^G2192 ^G5723 ασθενειαν ^G769 ο ^G3588 λογος ^G3056 δε ^G1161 της ^G3588 ορκωμοσιας ^G3728 της ^G3588 μετα ^G3326 τον ^G3588 νομον ^G3551 υιον ^G5207 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 αιωνα ^G165 τετελειωμενον ^G5048 ^G5772	28	For the Law^G3551 appoints^G2525 men^G444 as high^G749 priests^G749 who are weak,^G769 but the word^G3056 of the oath,^G3728 which came after^G3326 the Law,^G3551 [appoints] a Son,^G5207 made^G5048 perfect^G5048 forever.^G165
