πρεσβυτερας ^G4245 ως ^G5613 μητερας ^G3384 νεωτερας ^G3501 ως ^G5613 αδελφας ^G79 εν ^G1722 παση ^G3956 αγνεια ^G47	2	the older^G4245 women^G4245 as mothers,^G3384 [and] the younger^G3501 women^G3501 as sisters,^G79 in all^G3956 purity.^G47
χηρας ^G5503 τιμα ^G5091 ^G5720 τας ^G3588 οντως ^G3689 χηρας ^G5503	3	Honor^G5091 widows^G5503 who are widows^G5503 indeed;^G3689

και ^G2532 ταυτα ^G5023 παραγγελλε ^G3853 ^G5720 ινα ^G2443 ανεπιληπτοι ^G423 ωσιν ^G5600 ^G5753	7	Prescribe^G3853 these^G3778 things^G3778 as well,^G2532 so^G2443 that they may be above^G423 reproach.^G423
ει ^G1487 δε ^G1161 τις ^G5100 των ^G3588 ιδιων ^G2398 και ^G2532 μαλιστα ^G3122 των ^G3588 οικειων ^G3609 ου ^G3756 προνοει ^G4306 ^G5719 την ^G3588 πιστιν ^G4102 ηρνηται ^G720 ^G5763 και ^G2532 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748 απιστου ^G571 χειρων ^G5501	8	But if^G1487 anyone^G5100 does not provide^G4306 for his own,^G2398 and especially^G3122 for those of his household,^G3609 he has denied^G720 the faith,^G4102 and is worse^G5501 than an unbeliever.^G571
χηρα ^G5503 καταλεγεσθω ^G2639 ^G5744 μη ^G3361 ελαττον ^G1640 ετων ^G2094 εξηκοντα ^G1835 γεγονυια ^G1096 ^G5756 ενος ^G1520 ανδρος ^G435 γυνη ^G1135	9	Let a widow^G5503 be put^G2639 on the list^G2639 only if she is not less^G1640 than sixty^G1835 years^G2094 old, [having been] the wife^G1135 of one^G1520 man,^G435

νεωτερας ^G3501 δε ^G1161 χηρας ^G5503 παραιτου ^G3868 ^G5737 οταν ^G3752 γαρ ^G1063 καταστρηνιασωσιν ^G2691 ^G5661 του ^G3588 χριστου ^G5547 γαμειν ^G1060 ^G5721 θελουσιν ^G2309 ^G5719	11	But refuse^G3868 [to put] younger^G3501 widows^G5503 [on the list], for when^G3752 they feel^G2691 sensual^G2691 desires^G2691 in disregard^G2691 of Christ,^G5547 they want^G2309 to get^G1060 married,^G1060
εχουσαι ^G2192 ^G5723 κριμα ^G2917 οτι ^G3754 την ^G3588 πρωτην ^G4413 πιστιν ^G4102 ηθετησαν ^G114 ^G5656	12	[thus] incurring^G2192 condemnation,^G2917 because^G3754 they have set^G114 aside^G114 their previous^G4413 pledge.^G4102
αμα ^G260 δε ^G1161 και ^G2532 αργαι ^G692 μανθανουσιν ^G3129 ^G5719 περιερχομεναι ^G4022 ^G5740 τας ^G3588 οικιας ^G3614 ου ^G3756 μονον ^G3440 δε ^G1161 αργαι ^G692 αλλα ^G235 και ^G2532 φλυαροι ^G5397 και ^G2532 περιεργοι ^G4021 λαλουσαι ^G2980 ^G5723 τα ^G3588 μη ^G3361 δεοντα ^G1163 ^G5901	13	And at the same^G260 time^G260 they also^G2532 learn^G3129 [to be] idle,^G692 as they go^G4022 around^G4022 from house^G3614 to house;^G3614 and not merely^G3441 idle,^G692 but also^G2532 gossips^G5397 and busybodies,^G4021 talking^G2980 about things^G7506 not proper^G7506 [to mention.]
βουλομαι ^G1014 ^G5736 ουν ^G3767 νεωτερας ^G3501 γαμειν ^G1060 ^G5721 τεκνογονειν ^G5041 ^G5721 οικοδεσποτειν ^G3616 ^G5721 μηδεμιαν ^G3367 αφορμην ^G874 διδοναι ^G1325 ^G5721 τω ^G3588 αντικειμενω ^G480 ^G5740 λοιδοριας ^G3059 χαριν ^G5484	14	Therefore,^G3767 I want^G1014 younger^G3501 [widows] to get^G1060 married,^G1060 bear^G5041 children,^G5041 keep^G3616 house,^G3616 [and] give^G1325 the enemy^G480 no^G3367 occasion^G874 for reproach;^G3059
ηδη ^G2235 γαρ ^G1063 τινες ^G5100 εξετραπησαν ^G1624 ^G5648 οπισω ^G3694 του ^G3588 σατανα ^G4567	15	for some^G5100 have already^G2235 turned^G1624 aside^G1624 to follow^G3694 Satan.^G4567
ει ^G1487 τις ^G5100 πιστος ^G4103 η ^G2228 πιστη ^G4103 εχει ^G2192 ^G5719 χηρας ^G5503 επαρκειτω ^G1884 ^G5720 αυταις ^G846 και ^G2532 μη ^G3361 βαρεισθω ^G916 ^G5744 η ^G3588 εκκλησια ^G1577 ινα ^G2443 ταις ^G3588 οντως ^G3689 χηραις ^G5503 επαρκεση ^G1884 ^G5661	16	If^G1487 any^G5100 woman^G5100 who is a believer^G4103 has^G2192 [dependent] widows,^G5503 let her assist^G1884 them, and let not the church^G1577 be burdened,^G916 so^G2443 that it may assist^G1884 those^G3588 who are widows^G5503 indeed.^G3689

λεγει ^G3004 ^G5719 γαρ ^G1063 η ^G3588 γραφη ^G1124 βουν ^G1016 αλοωντα ^G248 ^G5723 ου ^G3756 φιμωσεις ^G5392 ^G5692 και ^G2532 αξιος ^G514 ο ^G3588 εργατης ^G2040 του ^G3588 μισθου ^G3408 αυτου ^G846	18	For the Scripture^G1124 says,^G3004 "You shall not muzzle^G5392 the ox^G1016 while he is threshing,^G248" and "The laborer^G2040 is worthy^G514 of his wages.^G3408"
κατα ^G2596 πρεσβυτερου ^G4245 κατηγοριαν ^G2724 μη ^G3361 παραδεχου ^G3858 ^G5737 εκτος ^G1622 ει ^G1487 μη ^G3361 επι ^G1909 δυο ^G1417 η ^G2228 τριων ^G5140 μαρτυρων ^G3144	19	Do not receive^G3858 an accusation^G2724 against^G2596 an elder^G4245 except^G1622 ^G1508 on the basis^G1909 of two^G1417 or^G2228 three^G5140 witnesses.^G3144
τους ^G3588 αμαρτανοντας ^G264 ^G5723 ενωπιον ^G1799 παντων ^G3956 ελεγχε ^G1651 ^G5720 ινα ^G2443 και ^G2532 οι ^G3588 λοιποι ^G3062 φοβον ^G5401 εχωσιν ^G2192 ^G5725	20	Those^G3588 who continue in sin,^G264 rebuke^G1651 in the presence^G1799 of all,^G3956 so^G2443 that the rest^G3062 also^G2532 may be fearful^G5401 [of sinning.]
διαμαρτυρομαι ^G1263 ^G5736 ενωπιον ^G1799 του ^G3588 θεου ^G2316 και ^G2532 κυριου ^G2962 ιησου ^G2424 χριστου ^G5547 και ^G2532 των ^G3588 εκλεκτων ^G1588 αγγελων ^G32 ινα ^G2443 ταυτα ^G5023 φυλαξης ^G5442 ^G5661 χωρις ^G5565 προκριματος ^G4299 μηδεν ^G3367 ποιων ^G4160 ^G5723 κατα ^G2596 προσκλισιν ^G4346	21	I solemnly^G1263 charge^G1263 you in the presence^G1799 of God^G2316 and of Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 and of [His] chosen^G1588 angels,^G32 to maintain^G5442 these^G3778 [principles] without^G5565 bias,^G4299 doing^G4160 nothing^G3367 in a [spirit of] partiality.^G4346
χειρας ^G5495 ταχεως ^G5030 μηδενι ^G3367 επιτιθει ^G2007 ^G5720 μηδε ^G3366 κοινωνει ^G2841 ^G5720 αμαρτιαις ^G266 αλλοτριαις ^G245 σεαυτον ^G4572 αγνον ^G53 τηρει ^G5083 ^G5720	22	Do not lay^G2007 hands^G5495 upon anyone^G3367 [too] hastily^G5030 and thus^G3366 share^G2841 [responsibility for] the sins^G266 of others;^G245 keep^G5083 yourself^G4572 free^G53 from sin.^G53
μηκετι ^G3371 υδροποτει ^G5202 ^G5720 αλλ ^G235 οινω ^G3631 ολιγω ^G3641 χρω ^G5530 ^G5737 δια ^G1223 τον ^G3588 στομαχον ^G4751 σου ^G4675 και ^G2532 τας ^G3588 πυκνας ^G4437 σου ^G4675 ασθενειας ^G769	23	No^G3371 longer^G3371 drink^G5202 water^G5202 [exclusively,] but use^G5530 a little^G3641 wine^G3631 for the sake^G1223 of your stomach^G4751 and your frequent^G4437 ailments.^G769
τινων ^G5100 ανθρωπων ^G444 αι ^G3588 αμαρτιαι ^G266 προδηλοι ^G4271 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 προαγουσαι ^G4254 ^G5723 εις ^G1519 κρισιν ^G2920 τισιν ^G5100 δε ^G1161 και ^G2532 επακολουθουσιν ^G1872 ^G5719	24	The sins^G266 of some^G5100 men^G444 are quite^G4271 evident,^G4271 going^G4254 before^G4254 them to judgment;^G2920 for others,^G5100 their [sins] follow^G1872 after.^G1872
ωσαυτως ^G5615 και ^G2532 τα ^G3588 καλα ^G2570 εργα ^G2041 προδηλα ^G4271 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748 και ^G2532 τα ^G3588 αλλως ^G247 εχοντα ^G2192 ^G5723 κρυβηναι ^G2928 ^G5650 ου ^G3756 δυναται ^G1410 ^G5736	25	Likewise^G5615 also,^G2532 deeds^G2041 that are good^G2570 are quite^G4271 evident,^G4271 and those^G3588 which are otherwise^G247 cannot^G1410 ^G3756 be concealed.^G2928
