ταυτα ^G5023 δε ^G1161 παντα ^G3956 τυποι ^G5179 συνεβαινον ^G4819 ^G5707 εκεινοις ^G1565 εγραφη ^G1125 ^G5648 δε ^G1161 προς ^G4314 νουθεσιαν ^G3559 ημων ^G2257 εις ^G1519 ους ^G3739 τα ^G3588 τελη ^G5056 των ^G3588 αιωνων ^G165 κατηντησεν ^G2658 ^G5656	11	Now^G1161 these^G3778 things^G3778 happened^G4819 to them as an example,^G5179 and they were written^G1125 for our instruction,^G3559 upon whom^G3739 the ends^G5056 of the ages^G165 have come.^G2658

διοπερ ^G1355 αγαπητοι ^G27 μου ^G3450 φευγετε ^G5343 ^G5720 απο ^G575 της ^G3588 ειδωλολατρειας ^G1495	14	Therefore,^G1355 my beloved,^G27 flee^G5343 from idolatry.^G1495

το ^G3588 ποτηριον ^G4221 της ^G3588 ευλογιας ^G2129 ο ^G3739 ευλογουμεν ^G2127 ^G5719 ουχι ^G3780 κοινωνια ^G2842 του ^G3588 αιματος ^G129 του ^G3588 χριστου ^G5547 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748 τον ^G3588 αρτον ^G740 ον ^G3739 κλωμεν ^G2806 ^G5719 ουχι ^G3780 κοινωνια ^G2842 του ^G3588 σωματος ^G4983 του ^G3588 χριστου ^G5547 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748	16	Is not the cup^G4221 of blessing^G2129 which^G3739 we bless^G2127 a sharing^G2842 in the blood^G129 of Christ^G5547? Is not the bread^G740 which^G3739 we break^G2806 a sharing^G2842 in the body^G4983 of Christ^G5547?

βλεπετε ^G991 ^G5720 τον ^G3588 ισραηλ ^G2474 κατα ^G2596 σαρκα ^G4561 ουχι ^G3780 οι ^G3588 εσθιοντες ^G2068 ^G5723 τας ^G3588 θυσιας ^G2378 κοινωνοι ^G2844 του ^G3588 θυσιαστηριου ^G2379 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748	18	Look^G991 at the nation^G4561 Israel;^G2474 are not those^G3588 who eat^G2068 the sacrifices^G2378 sharers^G2844 in the altar^G2379?
τι ^G5101 ουν ^G3767 φημι ^G5346 ^G5748 οτι ^G3754 ειδωλον ^G1497 τι ^G5100 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748 η ^G2228 οτι ^G3754 ειδωλοθυτον ^G1494 τι ^G5100 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748	19	What^G5101 do I mean^G5346 then^G3767? That a thing^G1494 sacrificed^G1494 to idols^G1494 is anything,^G5100 or^G2228 that an idol^G1497 is anything^G5100?
αλλ ^G235 οτι ^G3754 α ^G3739 θυει ^G2380 ^G5719 τα ^G3588 εθνη ^G1484 δαιμονιοις ^G1140 θυει ^G2380 ^G5719 και ^G2532 ου ^G3756 θεω ^G2316 ου ^G3756 θελω ^G2309 ^G5719 δε ^G1161 υμας ^G5209 κοινωνους ^G2844 των ^G3588 δαιμονιων ^G1140 γινεσθαι ^G1096 ^G5738	20	[No,] but [I say] that the things which^G3739 the Gentiles^G1484 sacrifice,^G2380 they sacrifice^G2380 to demons,^G1140 and not to God;^G2316 and I do not want^G2309 you to become^G1096 sharers^G2844 in demons.^G1140

η ^G2228 παραζηλουμεν ^G3863 ^G5719 τον ^G3588 κυριον ^G2962 μη ^G3361 ισχυροτεροι ^G2478 αυτου ^G846 εσμεν ^G2070 ^G5748	22	Or^G2228 do we provoke^G3863 the Lord^G2962 to jealousy^G3863? We are not stronger^G2478 than He, are we?

παν ^G3956 το ^G3588 εν ^G1722 μακελλω ^G3111 πωλουμενον ^G4453 ^G5746 εσθιετε ^G2068 ^G5720 μηδεν ^G3367 ανακρινοντες ^G350 ^G5723 δια ^G1223 την ^G3588 συνειδησιν ^G4893	25	Eat^G2068 anything^G3956 that is sold^G4453 in the meat^G3111 market,^G3111 without^G3367 asking^G350 questions^G350 for conscience' sake;^G1223
του ^G3588 γαρ ^G1063 κυριου ^G2962 η ^G3588 γη ^G1093 και ^G2532 το ^G3588 πληρωμα ^G4138 αυτης ^G846	26	for the earth^G1093 is the Lord's, and all^G4138 it contains.^G4138

ει ^G1487 δε ^G1161 εγω ^G1473 χαριτι ^G5485 μετεχω ^G3348 ^G5719 τι ^G5101 βλασφημουμαι ^G987 ^G5743 υπερ ^G5228 ου ^G3739 εγω ^G1473 ευχαριστω ^G2168 ^G5719	30	If^G1487 I partake^G3348 with thankfulness,^G5485 why^G5101 am I slandered^G987 concerning^G5228 that for which^G3739 I give^G2168 thanks^G2168?
ειτε ^G1535 ουν ^G3767 εσθιετε ^G2068 ^G5719 ειτε ^G1535 πινετε ^G4095 ^G5719 ειτε ^G1535 τι ^G5100 ποιειτε ^G4160 ^G5719 παντα ^G3956 εις ^G1519 δοξαν ^G1391 θεου ^G2316 ποιειτε ^G4160 ^G5720	31	Whether,^G1535 then,^G3767 you eat^G2068 or^G1535 drink^G4095 or^G1535 whatever^G5100 you do,^G4160 do^G4160 all^G3956 to the glory^G1391 of God.^G2316
απροσκοποι ^G677 γινεσθε ^G1096 ^G5737 και ^G2532 ιουδαιοις ^G2453 και ^G2532 ελλησιν ^G1672 και ^G2532 τη ^G3588 εκκλησια ^G1577 του ^G3588 θεου ^G2316	32	Give^G1096 no^G677 offense^G677 either^G2532 to Jews^G2453 or^G2532 to Greeks^G1672 or^G2532 to the church^G1577 of God;^G2316
καθως ^G2531 καγω ^G2504 παντα ^G3956 πασιν ^G3956 αρεσκω ^G700 ^G5719 μη ^G3361 ζητων ^G2212 ^G5723 το ^G3588 εμαυτου ^G1683 συμφερον ^G4851 ^G5723 αλλα ^G235 το ^G3588 των ^G3588 πολλων ^G4183 ινα ^G2443 σωθωσιν ^G4982 ^G5686	33	just^G2531 as I also^G2532 please^G700 all^G3956 men^G3956 in all^G3956 things,^G3956 not seeking^G2212 my own^G1683 profit,^G4851 but the [profit] of the many,^G4183 that they may be saved.^G4982
