μη ^G3361 γενοιτο ^G1096 ^G5636 οιτινες ^G3748 απεθανομεν ^G599 ^G5627 τη ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266 πως ^G4459 ετι ^G2089 ζησομεν ^G2198 ^G5692 εν ^G1722 αυτη ^G846	2	May it never^G3361 be! How^G4459 shall we who^G3748 died^G599 to sin^G266 still^G2089 live^G2198 in it?
η ^G2228 αγνοειτε ^G50 ^G5719 οτι ^G3754 οσοι ^G3745 εβαπτισθημεν ^G907 ^G5681 εις ^G1519 χριστον ^G5547 ιησουν ^G2424 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 θανατον ^G2288 αυτου ^G846 εβαπτισθημεν ^G907 ^G5681	3	Or^G2228 do you not know^G50 that all^G3745 of us who^G3745 have been baptized^G907 into Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 have been baptized^G907 into His death^G2288?
συνεταφημεν ^G4916 ^G5648 ουν ^G3767 αυτω ^G846 δια ^G1223 του ^G3588 βαπτισματος ^G908 εις ^G1519 τον ^G3588 θανατον ^G2288 ινα ^G2443 ωσπερ ^G5618 ηγερθη ^G1453 ^G5681 χριστος ^G5547 εκ ^G1537 νεκρων ^G3498 δια ^G1223 της ^G3588 δοξης ^G1391 του ^G3588 πατρος ^G3962 ουτως ^G3779 και ^G2532 ημεις ^G2249 εν ^G1722 καινοτητι ^G2538 ζωης ^G2222 περιπατησωμεν ^G4043 ^G5661	4	Therefore^G3767 we have been buried^G4916 with Him through^G1223 baptism^G908 into death,^G2288 in order^G2443 that as Christ^G5547 was raised^G1453 from the dead^G3498 through^G1223 the glory^G1391 of the Father,^G3962 so^G3779 we too^G2532 might walk^G4043 in newness^G2538 of life.^G2222

τουτο ^G5124 γινωσκοντες ^G1097 ^G5723 οτι ^G3754 ο ^G3588 παλαιος ^G3820 ημων ^G2257 ανθρωπος ^G444 συνεσταυρωθη ^G4957 ^G5681 ινα ^G2443 καταργηθη ^G2673 ^G5686 το ^G3588 σωμα ^G4983 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 του ^G3588 μηκετι ^G3371 δουλευειν ^G1398 ^G5721 ημας ^G2248 τη ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266	6	knowing^G1097 this,^G3778 that our old^G3820 self^G444 was crucified^G4957 with [Him,] that our body^G4983 of sin^G266 might be done^G2673 away^G2673 with, that we should no^G3371 longer^G3371 be slaves^G1398 to sin;^G266
ο ^G3588 γαρ ^G1063 αποθανων ^G599 ^G5631 δεδικαιωται ^G1344 ^G5769 απο ^G575 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266	7	for he who has died^G599 is freed^G1344 from sin.^G266
ει ^G1487 δε ^G1161 απεθανομεν ^G599 ^G5627 συν ^G4862 χριστω ^G5547 πιστευομεν ^G4100 ^G5719 οτι ^G3754 και ^G2532 συζησομεν ^G4800 ^G5692 αυτω ^G846	8	Now^G1161 if^G1487 we have died^G599 with Christ,^G5547 we believe^G4100 that we shall also^G2532 live^G4800 with Him,
ειδοτες ^G1492 ^G5761 οτι ^G3754 χριστος ^G5547 εγερθεις ^G1453 ^G5685 εκ ^G1537 νεκρων ^G3498 ουκετι ^G3765 αποθνησκει ^G599 ^G5719 θανατος ^G2288 αυτου ^G846 ουκετι ^G3765 κυριευει ^G2961 ^G5719	9	knowing^G3609 that Christ,^G5547 having been raised^G1453 from the dead,^G3498 is never^G3765 to die^G599 again;^G3765 death^G2288 no^G3765 longer^G3765 is master^G2961 over^G2961 Him.
ο ^G3739 γαρ ^G1063 απεθανεν ^G599 ^G5627 τη ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266 απεθανεν ^G599 ^G5627 εφαπαξ ^G2178 ο ^G3739 δε ^G1161 ζη ^G2198 ^G5719 ζη ^G2198 ^G5719 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316	10	For the death that He died,^G599 He died^G599 to sin,^G266 once^G2178 for all;^G2178 but the life^G2198 that He lives,^G2198 He lives^G2198 to God.^G2316
ουτως ^G3779 και ^G2532 υμεις ^G5210 λογιζεσθε ^G3049 ^G5737 εαυτους ^G1438 νεκρους ^G3498 μεν ^G3303 ειναι ^G1511 ^G5750 τη ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266 ζωντας ^G2198 ^G5723 δε ^G1161 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 εν ^G1722 χριστω ^G5547 ιησου ^G2424 τω ^G3588 κυριω ^G2962 ημων ^G2257	11	Even^G2532 so^G3779 consider^G3049 yourselves^G1438 to be dead^G3498 to sin,^G266 but alive^G2198 to God^G2316 in Christ^G5547 Jesus.^G2424
μη ^G3361 ουν ^G3767 βασιλευετω ^G936 ^G5720 η ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266 εν ^G1722 τω ^G3588 θνητω ^G2349 υμων ^G5216 σωματι ^G4983 εις ^G1519 το ^G3588 υπακουειν ^G5219 ^G5721 αυτη ^G846 εν ^G1722 ταις ^G3588 επιθυμιαις ^G1939 αυτου ^G846	12	Therefore^G3767 do not let sin^G266 reign^G936 in your mortal^G2349 body^G4983 that you should obey^G5219 its lusts,^G1939
μηδε ^G3366 παριστανετε ^G3936 ^G5720 τα ^G3588 μελη ^G3196 υμων ^G5216 οπλα ^G3696 αδικιας ^G93 τη ^G3588 αμαρτια ^G266 αλλα ^G235 παραστησατε ^G3936 ^G5657 εαυτους ^G1438 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 ως ^G5613 εκ ^G1537 νεκρων ^G3498 ζωντας ^G2198 ^G5723 και ^G2532 τα ^G3588 μελη ^G3196 υμων ^G5216 οπλα ^G3696 δικαιοσυνης ^G1343 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316	13	and do not go on presenting^G3936 the members^G3196 of your body to sin^G266 [as] instruments^G3696 of unrighteousness;^G93 but present^G3936 yourselves^G1438 to God^G2316 as those alive^G2198 from the dead,^G3498 and your members^G3196 [as] instruments^G3696 of righteousness^G1343 to God.^G2316
αμαρτια ^G266 γαρ ^G1063 υμων ^G5216 ου ^G3756 κυριευσει ^G2961 ^G5692 ου ^G3756 γαρ ^G1063 εστε ^G2075 ^G5748 υπο ^G5259 νομον ^G3551 αλλ ^G235 υπο ^G5259 χαριν ^G5485	14	For sin^G266 shall not be master^G2961 over^G2961 you, for you are not under^G5259 law,^G3551 but under^G5259 grace.^G5485
τι ^G5101 ουν ^G3767 αμαρτησομεν ^G264 ^G5692 οτι ^G3754 ουκ ^G3756 εσμεν ^G2070 ^G5748 υπο ^G5259 νομον ^G3551 αλλ ^G235 υπο ^G5259 χαριν ^G5485 μη ^G3361 γενοιτο ^G1096 ^G5636	15	What^G5101 then^G3767? Shall we sin^G264 because^G3754 we are not under^G5259 law^G3551 but under^G5259 grace^G5485? May it never^G3361 be!
ουκ ^G3756 οιδατε ^G1492 ^G5758 οτι ^G3754 ω ^G3739 παριστανετε ^G3936 ^G5719 εαυτους ^G1438 δουλους ^G1401 εις ^G1519 υπακοην ^G5218 δουλοι ^G1401 εστε ^G2075 ^G5748 ω ^G3739 υπακουετε ^G5219 ^G5719 ητοι ^G2273 αμαρτιας ^G266 εις ^G1519 θανατον ^G2288 η ^G2228 υπακοης ^G5218 εις ^G1519 δικαιοσυνην ^G1343	16	Do you not know^G3609 that when^G3739 you present^G3936 yourselves^G1438 to someone^G3739 [as] slaves^G1401 for obedience,^G5218 you are slaves^G1401 of the one whom^G3739 you obey,^G5219 either^G2273 of sin^G266 resulting^G1519 in death,^G2288 or^G2228 of obedience^G5218 resulting^G1519 in righteousness^G1343?
χαρις ^G5485 δε ^G1161 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 οτι ^G3754 ητε ^G2258 ^G5713 δουλοι ^G1401 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 υπηκουσατε ^G5219 ^G5656 δε ^G1161 εκ ^G1537 καρδιας ^G2588 εις ^G1519 ον ^G3739 παρεδοθητε ^G3860 ^G5681 τυπον ^G5179 διδαχης ^G1322	17	But thanks^G5485 be to God^G2316 that though you were slaves^G1401 of sin,^G266 you became^G5219 obedient^G5219 from the heart^G2588 to that form^G5179 of teaching^G1322 to which^G3739 you were committed,^G3860
ελευθερωθεντες ^G1659 ^G5685 δε ^G1161 απο ^G575 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 εδουλωθητε ^G1402 ^G5681 τη ^G3588 δικαιοσυνη ^G1343	18	and having been freed^G1659 from sin,^G266 you became^G1402 slaves^G1402 of righteousness.^G1343
ανθρωπινον ^G442 λεγω ^G3004 ^G5719 δια ^G1223 την ^G3588 ασθενειαν ^G769 της ^G3588 σαρκος ^G4561 υμων ^G5216 ωσπερ ^G5618 γαρ ^G1063 παρεστησατε ^G3936 ^G5656 τα ^G3588 μελη ^G3196 υμων ^G5216 δουλα ^G1401 τη ^G3588 ακαθαρσια ^G167 και ^G2532 τη ^G3588 ανομια ^G458 εις ^G1519 την ^G3588 ανομιαν ^G458 ουτως ^G3779 νυν ^G3568 παραστησατε ^G3936 ^G5657 τα ^G3588 μελη ^G3196 υμων ^G5216 δουλα ^G1401 τη ^G3588 δικαιοσυνη ^G1343 εις ^G1519 αγιασμον ^G38	19	I am speaking^G3004 in human^G442 terms^G442 because^G1223 of the weakness^G769 of your flesh.^G4561 For just^G5618 as you presented^G3936 your members^G3196 [as] slaves^G1401 to impurity^G167 and to lawlessness,^G458 resulting^G1519 in [further] lawlessness,^G458 so^G3779 now^G3568 present^G3936 your members^G3196 [as] slaves^G1401 to righteousness,^G1343 resulting^G1519 in sanctification.^G38
οτε ^G3753 γαρ ^G1063 δουλοι ^G1401 ητε ^G2258 ^G5713 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 ελευθεροι ^G1658 ητε ^G2258 ^G5713 τη ^G3588 δικαιοσυνη ^G1343	20	For when^G3753 you were slaves^G1401 of sin,^G266 you were free^G1658 in regard to righteousness.^G1343
τινα ^G5101 ουν ^G3767 καρπον ^G2590 ειχετε ^G2192 ^G5707 τοτε ^G5119 εφ ^G1909 οις ^G3739 νυν ^G3568 επαισχυνεσθε ^G1870 ^G5736 το ^G3588 γαρ ^G1063 τελος ^G5056 εκεινων ^G1565 θανατος ^G2288	21	Therefore^G3767 what^G5101 benefit^G2590 were you then^G5119 deriving^G2192 from the things of which^G3739 you are now^G3568 ashamed^G1870? For the outcome^G5056 of those^G1565 things^G1565 is death.^G2288
νυνι ^G3570 δε ^G1161 ελευθερωθεντες ^G1659 ^G5685 απο ^G575 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 δουλωθεντες ^G1402 ^G5685 δε ^G1161 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 εχετε ^G2192 ^G5719 τον ^G3588 καρπον ^G2590 υμων ^G5216 εις ^G1519 αγιασμον ^G38 το ^G3588 δε ^G1161 τελος ^G5056 ζωην ^G2222 αιωνιον ^G166	22	But now^G3570 having been freed^G1659 from sin^G266 and enslaved^G1402 to God,^G2316 you derive^G2192 your benefit,^G2590 resulting^G1519 in sanctification,^G38 and the outcome,^G5056 eternal^G166 life.^G2222
τα ^G3588 γαρ ^G1063 οψωνια ^G3800 της ^G3588 αμαρτιας ^G266 θανατος ^G2288 το ^G3588 δε ^G1161 χαρισμα ^G5486 του ^G3588 θεου ^G2316 ζωη ^G2222 αιωνιος ^G166 εν ^G1722 χριστω ^G5547 ιησου ^G2424 τω ^G3588 κυριω ^G2962 ημων ^G2257	23	For the wages^G3800 of sin^G266 is death,^G2288 but the free^G5486 gift^G5486 of God^G2316 is eternal^G166 life^G2222 in Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 our Lord.^G2962
