בֶּן־^H1121שֶׁ֤בַע ^H7651 שָׁנִים֙ ^H8141 יֹאָ֣שׁ ^H3101 בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ ^H4427 וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים ^H705 שָׁנָ֔ה ^H8141 מָלַ֖ךְ ^H4427 בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם ^H3389 וְשֵׁ֣ם ^H8034 אִמּ֔וֹ ^H517 צִבְיָ֖ה ^H6645 מִבְּאֵ֥ר שָֽׁבַע׃ ^H884	1	Joash^H3060 [was] seven^H7651 years^H8141 old^H1121 when he became^H4427 king,^H4427 and he reigned^H4427 forty^H705 years^H8141 in Jerusalem;^H3389 and his mother's name^H8034 [was] Zibiah^H6645 from Beersheba.^H884	Ὢν^G1510 ἑπτὰ^G2033 ἐτῶν^G2094 Ιωας ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 βασιλεῦσαι^G936 αὐτὸν^G846 καὶ^G2532 τεσσαράκοντα^G5062 ἔτη^G2094 ἐβασίλευσεν^G936 ἐν^G1722 Ιερουσαλημ,^G2419 καὶ^G2532 ὄνομα^G3686 τῇ^G3588 μητρὶ^G3384 αὐτοῦ^G846 Σαβια ἐκ^G1537 Βηρσαβεε.
וַיַּ֧עַשׂ ^H6213 יוֹאָ֛שׁ ^H3101 הַיָּשָׁ֖ר ^H3477 בְּעֵינֵ֣י ^H5869 יְהוָ֑ה ^H3068 כָּל־^H3605יְמֵ֖י ^H3117 יְהוֹיָדָ֥ע ^H3077 הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ ^H3548	2	And Joash^H3060 did^H6213 what was right^H3477 in the sight^H5869 of the Lord^H3068 all^H3605 the days^H3117 of Jehoiada^H3077 the priest.^H3548	καὶ^G2532 ἐποίησεν^G4160 Ιωας τὸ^G3588 εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον^G1799 κυρίου^G2962 πάσας^G3956 τὰς^G3588 ἡμέρας^G2250 Ιωδαε τοῦ^G3588 ἱερέως.^G2409
וַיִּשָּׂא־^H5375ל֥וֹ יְהוֹיָדָ֖ע ^H3077 נָשִׁ֣ים ^H802 שְׁתָּ֑יִם ^H8147 וַיּ֖וֹלֶד ^H3205 בָּנִ֥ים ^H1121 וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ^H1323	3	And Jehoiada^H3077 took^H5375 two^H8147 wives^H802 for him, and he became^H3205 the father^H3205 of sons^H1121 and daughters.^H1323	καὶ^G2532 ἔλαβεν^G2983 αὐτῷ^G846 Ιωδαε γυναῖκας^G1135 δύο,^G1417 καὶ^G2532 ἐγέννησεν^G1080 υἱοὺς^G5207 καὶ^G2532 θυγατέρας.^G2364
וַיְהִ֖י ^H1961 אַחֲרֵיכֵ֑ן ^H310 הָיָה֙ ^H1961 עִם־^H5973לֵ֣ב ^H3820 יוֹאָ֔שׁ ^H3101 לְחַדֵּ֖שׁ ^H2318 אֶת־^H853בֵּ֥ית ^H1004 יְהוָֽה׃ ^H3068	4	Now it came^H1961 about after^H310 this^H3651 that Joash^H3060 decided^H1961 ^H5973 ^H3820 to restore^H2318 the house^H1004 of the Lord.^H3068	καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 μετὰ^G3326 ταῦτα^G3778 καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 ἐπὶ^G1909 καρδίαν^G2588 Ιωας ἐπισκευάσαι τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου.^G2962
וַיִּקְבֹּץ֮ ^H6908 אֶת־^H853הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים ^H3548 וְהַלְוִיִּם֒ ^H3881 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 לָהֶ֡ם צְא֣וּ ^H3318 לְעָרֵ֪י ^H5892 יְהוּדָ֟ה ^H3063 וְקִבְצוּ֩ ^H6908 מִכָּל־^H3605יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ^H3478 כֶּ֜סֶף ^H3701 לְחַזֵּ֣ק ^H2388 ׀ אֶת־^H853בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם ^H430 מִדֵּ֤י ^H1767 שָׁנָה֙ ^H8141 בְּשָׁנָ֔ה ^H8141 וְאַתֶּ֖ם ^H859 תְּמַהֲר֣וּ ^H4116 לַדָּבָ֑ר ^H1697 וְלֹ֥א ^H3808 מִֽהֲר֖וּ ^H4116 הַֽלְוִיִּֽם׃ ^H3881	5	And he gathered^H6908 the priests^H3548 and Levites,^H3881 and said^H559 to them, "Go^H3318 out to the cities^H5892 of Judah,^H3063 and collect^H6908 money^H3701 from all^H3605 Israel^H3478 to repair^H2388 the house^H1004 of your God^H430 annually,^H1767 ^H8141 and you shall do^H4116 the matter^H1697 quickly.^H4116" But the Levites^H3881 did not act^H4116 quickly.^H4116	καὶ^G2532 συνήγαγεν^G4863 τοὺς^G3588 ἱερεῖς^G2409 καὶ^G2532 τοὺς^G3588 Λευίτας^G3019 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 αὐτοῖς^G846 Ἐξέλθατε^G1831 εἰς^G1519 τὰς^G3588 πόλεις^G4172 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 συναγάγετε^G4863 ἀπὸ^G575 παντὸς^G3956 Ισραηλ^G2474 ἀργύριον^G694 κατισχῦσαι^G2729 τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 ἐνιαυτὸν^G1763 κατ᾽^G2596 ἐνιαυτὸν^G1763 καὶ^G2532 σπεύσατε^G4692 λαλῆσαι·^G2980 καὶ^G2532 οὐκ^G3364 ἔσπευσαν^G4692 οἱ^G3588 Λευῖται.^G3019
וַיִּקְרָ֣א ^H7121 הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ ^H4428 לִֽיהוֹיָדָ֣ע ^H3077 הָרֹאשׁ֒ ^H7218 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 ל֗וֹ מַדּ֙וּעַ֙ ^H4069 לֹֽא־^H3808דָרַ֣שְׁתָּ ^H1875 עַל־^H5921הַלְוִיִּ֔ם ^H3881 לְהָבִ֞יא ^H935 מִֽיהוּדָ֣ה ^H3063 וּמִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֗ם ^H3389 אֶת־^H853מַשְׂאַת֙ ^H4864 מֹשֶׁ֣ה ^H4872 עֶֽבֶד־^H5650יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 וְהַקָּהָ֖ל ^H6951 לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 לְאֹ֖הֶל ^H168 הָעֵדֽוּת׃ ^H5715	6	So the king^H4428 summoned^H7121 Jehoiada^H3077 the chief^H7218 [priest] and said^H559 to him, "Why^H4069 have you not required^H1875 the Levites^H3881 to bring^H935 in from Judah^H3063 and from Jerusalem^H3389 the levy^H4864 [fixed by] Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of the Lord^H3068 on the congregation^H6951 of Israel^H3478 for the tent^H168 of the testimony^H5715?"	καὶ^G2532 ἐκάλεσεν^G2564 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ιωας τὸν^G3588 Ιωδαε τὸν^G3588 ἄρχοντα^G758 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 αὐτῷ^G846 Διὰ^G1223 τί^G5100 οὐκ^G3364 ἐπεσκέψω^G1980 περὶ^G4012 τῶν^G3588 Λευιτῶν^G3019 τοῦ^G3588 εἰσενέγκαι^G1533 ἀπὸ^G575 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 Ιερουσαλημ^G2419 τὸ^G3588 κεκριμένον^G2919 ὑπὸ^G5259 Μωυσῆ^G3475 ἀνθρώπου^G444 τοῦ^G3588 θεοῦ,^G2316 ὅτε^G3753 ἐξεκκλησίασεν τὸν^G3588 Ισραηλ^G2474 εἰς^G1519 τὴν^G3588 σκηνὴν^G4633 τοῦ^G3588 μαρτυρίου;^G3142
כִּ֤י ^H3588 עֲתַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ ^H6271 הַמִּרְשַׁ֔עַת ^H4849 בָּנֶ֥יהָ ^H1121 פָרְצ֖וּ ^H6555 אֶת־^H853בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים ^H430 וְגַם֙ ^H1571 כָּל־^H3605קָדְשֵׁ֣י ^H6944 בֵית־^H1004יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 עָשׂ֖וּ ^H6213 לַבְּעָלִֽים׃ ^H1168	7	For the sons^H1121 of the wicked^H4849 Athaliah^H6271 had broken^H6555 into the house^H1004 of God^H430 and even^H1571 used^H6213 the holy^H6944 things^H6944 of the house^H1004 of the Lord^H3068 for the Baals.^H1168	ὅτι^G3754 Γοθολια ἦν^G1510 ἡ^G3588 ἄνομος,^G459 καὶ^G2532 οἱ^G3588 υἱοὶ^G5207 αὐτῆς^G846 κατέσπασαν τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 τοῦ^G3588 θεοῦ,^G2316 καὶ^G2532 γὰρ^G1063 τὰ^G3588 ἅγια^G40 οἴκου^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 ἐποίησαν^G4160 ταῖς^G3588 Βααλιμ.^G896
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ^H4428 וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֖וּ ^H6213 אֲר֣וֹן ^H727 אֶחָ֑ד ^H259 וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֛הוּ ^H5414 בְּשַׁ֥עַר ^H8179 בֵּית־^H1004יְהוָ֖ה ^H3068 חֽוּצָה׃ ^H2351	8	So the king^H4428 commanded,^H559 and they made^H6213 a chest^H727 and set^H5414 it outside^H2351 by the gate^H8179 of the house^H1004 of the Lord.^H3068	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεύς^G935 Γενηθήτω^G1096 γλωσσόκομον^G1101 καὶ^G2532 τεθήτω^G5087 ἐν^G1722 πύλῃ^G4439 οἴκου^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 ἔξω·^G1854
וַיִּתְּנוּ־^H5414ק֞וֹל ^H6963 בִּֽיהוּדָ֣ה ^H3063 וּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֗ם ^H3389 לְהָבִ֤יא ^H935 לַֽיהוָה֙ ^H3068 מַשְׂאַ֞ת ^H4864 מֹשֶׁ֧ה ^H4872 עֶֽבֶד־^H5650הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים ^H430 עַל־^H5921יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ^H3478 בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ ^H4057	9	And they made^H5414 a proclamation^H6963 in Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem^H3389 to bring^H935 to the Lord^H3068 the levy^H4864 [fixed by] Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of God^H430 on Israel^H3478 in the wilderness.^H4057	καὶ^G2532 κηρυξάτωσαν^G2784 ἐν^G1722 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 Ιερουσαλημ^G2419 εἰσενέγκαι^G1533 κυρίῳ,^G2962 καθὼς^G2531 εἶπεν^G2036 Μωυσῆς παῖς^G3816 τοῦ^G3588 θεοῦ^G2316 ἐπὶ^G1909 τὸν^G3588 Ισραηλ^G2474 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ἐρήμῳ.^G2048
וַיִּשְׂמְח֥וּ ^H8055 כָל־^H3605הַשָּׂרִ֖ים ^H8269 וְכָל־^H3605הָעָ֑ם ^H5971 וַיָּבִ֛יאוּ ^H935 וַיַּשְׁלִ֥יכוּ ^H7993 לָאָר֖וֹן ^H727 עַד־^H5704לְכַלֵּֽה׃ ^H3615	10	And all^H3605 the officers^H8269 and all^H3605 the people^H5971 rejoiced^H8055 and brought^H935 in their levies and dropped^H7993 [them] into the chest^H727 until^H5704 they had finished.^H3615	καὶ^G2532 ἔδωκαν^G1325 πάντες^G3956 ἄρχοντες^G758 καὶ^G2532 πᾶς^G3956 ὁ^G3588 λαὸς^G2992 καὶ^G2532 εἰσέφερον^G1533 καὶ^G2532 ἐνέβαλλον^G1685 εἰς^G1519 τὸ^G3588 γλωσσόκομον,^G1101 ἕως^G2193 οὗ^G3739 ἐπληρώθη.^G4137
וַיְהִ֡י ^H1961 בְּעֵת֩ ^H6256 יָבִ֨יא ^H935 אֶת־^H853הָֽאָר֜וֹן ^H727 אֶל־^H413פְּקֻדַּ֣ת ^H6486 הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ ^H4428 בְּיַ֣ד ^H3027 הַלְוִיִּם֒ ^H3881 וְכִרְאוֹתָ֞ם ^H7200 כִּי־^H3588רַ֣ב ^H7227 הַכֶּ֗סֶף ^H3701 וּבָ֨א ^H935 סוֹפֵ֤ר ^H5608 הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ^H4428 וּפְקִיד֙ ^H6496 כֹּהֵ֣ן ^H3548 הָרֹ֔אשׁ ^H7218 וִיעָ֙רוּ֙ ^H6168 אֶת־^H853הָ֣אָר֔וֹן ^H727 וְיִשָּׂאֻ֖הוּ ^H5375 וִֽישִׁיבֻ֣הוּ ^H7725 אֶל־^H413מְקֹמ֑וֹ ^H4725 כֹּ֤ה ^H3541 עָשׂוּ֙ ^H6213 לְי֣וֹם ^H3117 ׀ בְּי֔וֹם ^H3117 וַיַּֽאַסְפוּ־^H622כֶ֖סֶף ^H3701 לָרֹֽב׃ ^H7230	11	And it came^H1961 about whenever^H6256 the chest^H727 was brought^H935 in to the king's officer^H6496 by the Levites,^H3881 and when they saw^H7200 that there was much^H7227 money,^H3701 then the king's scribe^H9373 and the chief^H7218 priest's officer^H6496 would come,^H935 empty^H6168 the chest,^H727 take^H5375 it, and return^H7725 it to its place.^H4725 Thus^H3541 they did^H6213 daily^H3117 and collected^H622 much^H7230 money.^H3701	καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 ὡς^G3739 εἰσέφερον^G1533 τὸ^G3588 γλωσσόκομον^G1101 πρὸς^G4314 τοὺς^G3588 προστάτας τοῦ^G3588 βασιλέως^G935 διὰ^G1223 χειρὸς^G5495 τῶν^G3588 Λευιτῶν^G3019 καὶ^G2532 ὡς^G3739 εἶδον^G3708 ὅτι^G3754 ἐπλεόνασεν^G4121 τὸ^G3588 ἀργύριον,^G694 καὶ^G2532 ἦλθεν^G2064 ὁ^G3588 γραμματεὺς^G1122 τοῦ^G3588 βασιλέως^G935 καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 προστάτης τοῦ^G3588 ἱερέως^G2409 τοῦ^G3588 μεγάλου^G3173 καὶ^G2532 ἐξεκένωσαν τὸ^G3588 γλωσσόκομον^G1101 καὶ^G2532 κατέστησαν^G2525 εἰς^G1519 τὸν^G3588 τόπον^G5117 αὐτοῦ·^G846 οὕτως^G3778 ἐποίουν^G4160 ἡμέραν^G2250 ἐξ^G1537 ἡμέρας^G2250 καὶ^G2532 συνήγαγον^G4863 ἀργύριον^G694 πολύ.^G4183
וַיִּתְּנֵ֨הוּ ^H5414 הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ^H4428 וִֽיהוֹיָדָ֗ע ^H3077 אֶל־^H413עוֹשֵׂה֙ ^H6213 מְלֶ֙אכֶת֙ ^H4399 עֲבוֹדַ֣ת ^H5656 בֵּית־^H1004יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 וַיִּֽהְי֤וּ ^H1961 שֹׂכְרִים֙ ^H7936 חֹצְבִ֣ים ^H2672 וְחָרָשִׁ֔ים ^H2796 לְחַדֵּ֖שׁ ^H2318 בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 יְהוָ֑ה ^H3068 וְ֠גַם ^H1571 לְחָרָשֵׁ֤י ^H2796 בַרְזֶל֙ ^H1270 וּנְחֹ֔שֶׁת ^H5178 לְחַזֵּ֖ק ^H2388 אֶת־^H853בֵּ֥ית ^H1004 יְהוָֽה׃ ^H3068	12	And the king^H4428 and Jehoiada^H3077 gave^H5414 it to those who did^H6213 the work^H4399 of the service^H5656 of the house^H1004 of the Lord;^H3068 and they hired^H7936 masons^H2672 and carpenters^H2796 to restore^H2318 the house^H1004 of the Lord,^H3068 and also^H1571 workers^H2796 in iron^H1270 and bronze^H5178 to repair^H2388 the house^H1004 of the Lord.^H3068	καὶ^G2532 ἔδωκεν^G1325 αὐτὸ^G846 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 καὶ^G2532 Ιωδαε ὁ^G3588 ἱερεὺς^G2409 τοῖς^G3588 ποιοῦσιν^G4160 τὰ^G3588 ἔργα^G2041 εἰς^G1519 τὴν^G3588 ἐργασίαν^G2039 οἴκου^G3624 κυρίου,^G2962 καὶ^G2532 ἐμισθοῦντο^G3409 λατόμους καὶ^G2532 τέκτονας^G5045 ἐπισκευάσαι τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 καὶ^G2532 χαλκεῖς^G5471 σιδήρου^G4604 καὶ^G2532 χαλκοῦ^G5475 ἐπισκευάσαι τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου.^G2962
וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ ^H6213 עֹשֵׂ֣י ^H6213 הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה ^H4399 וַתַּ֧עַל ^H5927 אֲרוּכָ֛ה ^H724 לַמְּלָאכָ֖ה ^H4399 בְּיָדָ֑ם ^H3027 וַֽיַּעֲמִ֜ידוּ ^H5975 אֶת־^H853בֵּ֧ית ^H1004 הָֽאֱלֹהִ֛ים ^H430 עַל־^H5921מַתְכֻּנְתּ֖וֹ ^H4971 וַֽיְאַמְּצֻֽהוּ׃ ^H553	13	So the workmen^H4399 ^H6213 labored,^H6213 and the repair^H724 work^H4399 progressed^H5927 in their hands,^H3027 and they restored^H5975 the house^H1004 of God^H430 according^H5921 to its specifications,^H4971 and strengthened^H553 it.	καὶ^G2532 ἐποίουν^G4160 οἱ^G3588 ποιοῦντες^G4160 τὰ^G3588 ἔργα,^G2041 καὶ^G2532 ἀνέβη^G305 μῆκος^G3372 τῶν^G3588 ἔργων^G2041 ἐν^G1722 χερσὶν^G5495 αὐτῶν,^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἀνέστησαν^G450 τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 ἐπὶ^G1909 τὴν^G3588 στάσιν^G4714 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐνίσχυσαν.^G1765
וּֽכְכַלּוֹתָ֡ם ^H3615 הֵבִ֣יאוּ ^H935 לִפְנֵי֩ ^H6440 הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ ^H4428 וִֽיהוֹיָדָ֜ע ^H3077 אֶת־^H853שְׁאָ֣ר ^H7605 הַכֶּ֗סֶף ^H3701 וַיַּעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ ^H6213 כֵלִ֤ים ^H3627 לְבֵית־^H1004יְהוָה֙ ^H3068 כְּלֵ֣י ^H3627 שָׁרֵ֔ת ^H8335 וְהַעֲל֣וֹת ^H5927 וְכַפּ֔וֹת ^H3709 וּכְלֵ֥י ^H3627 זָהָ֖ב ^H2091 וָכָ֑סֶף ^H3701 וַ֠יִּֽהְיוּ ^H1961 מַעֲלִ֨ים ^H5927 עֹל֤וֹת ^H5930 בְּבֵית־^H1004יְהוָה֙ ^H3068 תָּמִ֔יד ^H8548 כֹּ֖ל ^H3605 יְמֵ֥י ^H3117 יְהוֹיָדָֽע׃ ^H3077 פ	14	And when they had finished,^H3615 they brought^H935 the rest^H7605 of the money^H3701 before^H6440 the king^H4428 and Jehoiada;^H3077 and it was made^H6213 into utensils^H3627 for the house^H1004 of the Lord,^H3068 utensils^H3627 for the service^H8335 and the burnt^H5930 offering,^H5930 and pans^H3709 and utensils^H3627 of gold^H2091 and silver.^H3701 And they offered^H5927 burnt^H5930 offerings^H5930 in the house^H1004 of the Lord^H3068 continually^H8548 all^H3605 the days^H3117 of Jehoiada.^H3077	καὶ^G2532 ὡς^G3739 συνετέλεσαν,^G4931 ἤνεγκαν^G5342 πρὸς^G4314 τὸν^G3588 βασιλέα^G935 καὶ^G2532 πρὸς^G4314 Ιωδαε τὸ^G3588 κατάλοιπον^G2645 τοῦ^G3588 ἀργυρίου,^G694 καὶ^G2532 ἐποίησαν^G4160 σκεύη^G4632 εἰς^G1519 οἶκον^G3624 κυρίου,^G2962 σκεύη^G4632 λειτουργικὰ^G3010 ὁλοκαυτωμάτων^G3646 καὶ^G2532 θυίσκας χρυσᾶς^G5552 καὶ^G2532 ἀργυρᾶς.^G693 καὶ^G2532 ἀνήνεγκαν^G399 ὁλοκαυτώσεις ἐν^G1722 οἴκῳ^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 διὰ^G1223 παντὸς^G3956 πάσας^G3956 τὰς^G3588 ἡμέρας^G2250 Ιωδαε.
