וַיֵּצֵא֮ ^H3318 לִפְנֵ֣י ^H6440 אָסָא֒ ^H609 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 ל֔וֹ שְׁמָע֕וּנִי ^H8085 אָסָ֖א ^H609 וְכָל־^H3605יְהוּדָ֣ה ^H3063 וּבִנְיָמִ֑ן ^H1144 יְהוָ֤ה ^H3068 עִמָּכֶם֙ ^H5973 בִּֽהְיֽוֹתְכֶ֣ם ^H1961 עִמּ֔וֹ ^H5973 וְאִֽם־^H518תִּדְרְשֻׁ֙הוּ֙ ^H1875 יִמָּצֵ֣א ^H4672 לָכֶ֔ם וְאִם־^H518תַּעַזְבֻ֖הוּ ^H5800 יַעֲזֹ֥ב ^H5800 אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ^H853 ס	2	and he went^H3318 out to meet^H6440 Asa^H609 and said^H559 to him, "Listen^H8085 to me, Asa,^H609 and all^H3605 Judah^H3063 and Benjamin:^H1144 the Lord^H3068 is with you when you are with Him. וְיָמִ֥ים ^H3117 רַבִּ֖ים ^H7227 לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 לְלֹ֣א ^H3808 ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י ^H430 אֱמֶ֗ת ^H571 וּלְלֹ֛א ^H3808 כֹּהֵ֥ן ^H3548 מוֹרֶ֖ה ^H3384 וּלְלֹ֥א ^H3808 תוֹרָֽה׃ ^H8451	3	"And for many^H7227 days^H3117 Israel^H3478 was without^H3808 the true^H571 God^H430 and without^H3808 a teaching^H3384 priest^H3548 and without^H3808 law.^H8451	καὶ^G2532 ἡμέραι^G2250 πολλαὶ^G4183 τῷ^G3588 Ισραηλ^G2474 ἐν^G1722 οὐ^G3364 θεῷ^G2316 ἀληθινῷ^G228 καὶ^G2532 οὐχ^G3364 ἱερέως^G2409 ὑποδεικνύοντος^G5263 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 οὐ^G3364 νόμῳ·^G3551
וַיָּ֙שָׁב֙ ^H7725 בַּצַּר־^H6862ל֔וֹ עַל־^H5921יְהוָ֖ה ^H3068 אֱלֹהֵ֣י ^H430 יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 וַיְבַקְשֻׁ֖הוּ ^H1245 וַיִּמָּצֵ֥א ^H4672 לָהֶֽם׃	4	"But in their distress^H9496 they turned^H7725 to the Lord^H3068 God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 and they sought^H1245 Him, and He let them find^H4672 Him.	καὶ^G2532 ἐπιστρέψει^G1994 ἐπὶ^G1909 κύριον^G2962 θεὸν^G2316 Ισραηλ,^G2474 καὶ^G2532 εὑρεθήσεται^G2147 αὐτοῖς.^G846
וּבָעִתִּ֣ים ^H6251 הָהֵ֔ם ^H1992 אֵ֥ין ^H369 שָׁל֖וֹם ^H7965 לַיּוֹצֵ֣א ^H3318 וְלַבָּ֑א ^H935 כִּ֚י ^H3588 מְהוּמֹ֣ת ^H4103 רַבּ֔וֹת ^H7227 עַ֥ל ^H5921 כָּל־^H3605יוֹשְׁבֵ֖י ^H3427 הָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ ^H776	5	"And in those^H1992 times^H6256 there^H369 was no^H369 peace^H7965 to him who went^H3318 out or to him who came^H935 in, for many^H7227 disturbances^H4103 afflicted^H5921 all^H3605 the inhabitants^H3427 of the lands.^H776	καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 ἐκείνῳ^G1565 τῷ^G3588 καιρῷ^G2540 οὐκ^G3364 ἔστιν^G1510 εἰρήνη^G1515 τῷ^G3588 ἐκπορευομένῳ^G1607 καὶ^G2532 τῷ^G3588 εἰσπορευομένῳ,^G1531 ὅτι^G3754 ἔκστασις^G1611 κυρίου^G2962 ἐπὶ^G1909 πάντας^G3956 τοὺς^G3588 κατοικοῦντας^G2730 τὰς^G3588 χώρας.^G5561
וְכֻתְּת֥וּ ^H3807 גוֹי־^H1471בְּג֖וֹי ^H1471 וְעִ֣יר ^H5892 בְּעִ֑יר ^H5892 כִּֽי־^H3588אֱלֹהִ֥ים ^H430 הֲמָמָ֖ם ^H2000 בְּכָל־^H3605צָרָֽה׃ ^H6869	6	"And nation^H1471 was crushed^H3807 by nation,^H1471 and city^H5892 by city,^H5892 for God^H430 troubled^H2000 them with every^H3605 kind of distress.^H6869	καὶ^G2532 πολεμήσει^G4170 ἔθνος^G1484 πρὸς^G4314 ἔθνος^G1484 καὶ^G2532 πόλις^G4172 πρὸς^G4314 πόλιν,^G4172 ὅτι^G3754 ὁ^G3588 θεὸς^G2316 ἐξέστησεν^G1839 αὐτοὺς^G846 ἐν^G1722 πάσῃ^G3956 θλίψει.^G2347
וְאַתֶּ֣ם ^H859 חִזְק֔וּ ^H2388 וְאַל־^H408יִרְפּ֖וּ ^H7503 יְדֵיכֶ֑ם ^H3027 כִּ֛י ^H3588 יֵ֥שׁ ^H3426 שָׂכָ֖ר ^H7939 לִפְעֻלַּתְכֶֽם׃ ^H6468 ס	7	"But you, be strong^H2388 and do not lose^H3027 ^H7503 courage,^H3027 ^H7503 for there^H3426 is reward^H7939 for your work.^H6468"	καὶ^G2532 ὑμεῖς^G4771 ἰσχύσατε,^G2480 καὶ^G2532 μὴ^G3165 ἐκλυέσθωσαν^G1590 αἱ^G3588 χεῖρες^G5495 ὑμῶν,^G4771 ὅτι^G3754 ἔστιν^G1510 μισθὸς^G3408 τῇ^G3588 ἐργασίᾳ^G2039 ὑμῶν.^G4771
וְכִשְׁמֹ֨עַ ^H8085 אָסָ֜א ^H609 הַדְּבָרִ֣ים ^H1697 הָאֵ֗לֶּה ^H428 וְהַנְּבוּאָה֮ ^H5016 עֹדֵ֣ד ^H5752 הַנָּבִיא֒ ^H5030 הִתְחַזַּ֗ק ^H2388 וַיַּעֲבֵ֤ר ^H5674 הַשִּׁקּוּצִים֙ ^H8251 מִכָּל־^H3605אֶ֤רֶץ ^H776 יְהוּדָה֙ ^H3063 וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן ^H1144 וּמִן־^H4480הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים ^H5892 אֲשֶׁ֥ר ^H834 לָכַ֖ד ^H3920 מֵהַ֣ר ^H2022 אֶפְרָ֑יִם ^H669 וַיְחַדֵּשׁ֙ ^H2318 אֶת־^H853מִזְבַּ֣ח ^H4196 יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 אֲשֶׁ֕ר ^H834 לִפְנֵ֖י ^H6440 אוּלָ֥ם ^H197 יְהוָֽה׃ ^H3068	8	Now when Asa^H609 heard^H8085 these^H428 words^H1697 and the prophecy^H5016 which Azariah^H5838 the son of Oded^H5752 the prophet^H5030 spoke, he took^H2388 courage^H2388 and removed^H5674 the abominable^H8251 idols^H8251 from all^H3605 the land^H776 of Judah^H3063 and Benjamin^H1144 and from the cities^H5892 which^H834 he had captured^H3920 in the hill^H2022 country^H2022 of Ephraim.^H669 He then restored^H2318 the altar^H4196 of the Lord^H3068 which^H834 was in front^H6440 of the porch^H197 of the Lord.^H3068	καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 ἀκοῦσαι^G191 τοὺς^G3588 λόγους^G3056 τούτους^G3778 καὶ^G2532 τὴν^G3588 προφητείαν^G4394 Αδαδ τοῦ^G3588 προφήτου^G4396 καὶ^G2532 κατίσχυσεν^G2729 καὶ^G2532 ἐξέβαλεν^G1544 τὰ^G3588 βδελύγματα^G946 ἀπὸ^G575 πάσης^G3956 τῆς^G3588 γῆς^G1065 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 Βενιαμιν^G958 καὶ^G2532 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 πόλεων,^G4172 ὧν^G3739 κατέσχεν^G2722 ἐν^G1722 ὄρει^G3735 Εφραιμ,^G2187 καὶ^G2532 ἐνεκαίνισεν^G1457 τὸ^G3588 θυσιαστήριον^G2379 κυρίου,^G2962 ὃ^G3739 ἦν^G1510 ἔμπροσθεν^G1715 τοῦ^G3588 ναοῦ^G3485 κυρίου.^G2962
וַיִּקְבֹּ֗ץ ^H6908 אֶת־^H853כָּל־^H3605יְהוּדָה֙ ^H3063 וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן ^H1144 וְהַגָּרִים֙ ^H1481 עִמָּהֶ֔ם ^H5973 מֵאֶפְרַ֥יִם ^H669 וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה ^H4519 וּמִשִּׁמְע֑וֹן ^H8095 כִּֽי־^H3588נָפְל֨וּ ^H5307 עָלָ֤יו ^H5921 מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל֙ ^H3478 לָרֹ֔ב ^H7230 בִּרְאֹתָ֕ם ^H7200 כִּֽי־^H3588יְהוָ֥ה ^H3068 אֱלֹהָ֖יו ^H430 עִמּֽוֹ׃ ^H5973 פ	9	And he gathered^H6908 all^H3605 Judah^H3063 and Benjamin^H1144 and those from Ephraim,^H669 Manasseh,^H4519 and Simeon^H8095 who resided^H1481 with them, for many^H7230 defected^H5307 to him from Israel^H3478 when they saw^H7200 that the Lord^H3068 his God^H430 was with him.	καὶ^G2532 ἐξεκκλησίασεν τὸν^G3588 Ιουδαν^G2455 καὶ^G2532 Βενιαμιν^G958 καὶ^G2532 τοὺς^G3588 προσηλύτους^G4339 τοὺς^G3588 παροικοῦντας^G3939 μετ᾽^G3326 αὐτοῦ^G846 ἀπὸ^G575 Εφραιμ^G2187 καὶ^G2532 ἀπὸ^G575 Μανασση^G3128 καὶ^G2532 ἀπὸ^G575 Συμεων,^G4826 ὅτι^G3754 προσετέθησαν^G4369 πρὸς^G4314 αὐτὸν^G846 πολλοὶ^G4183 τοῦ^G3588 Ισραηλ^G2474 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 ἰδεῖν^G3708 αὐτοὺς^G846 ὅτι^G3754 κύριος^G2962 ὁ^G3588 θεὸς^G2316 αὐτοῦ^G846 μετ᾽^G3326 αὐτοῦ.^G846
וַיִּקָּבְצ֥וּ ^H6908 יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם ^H3389 בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ ^H2320 הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י ^H7992 לִשְׁנַ֥ת ^H8141 חֲמֵשׁ־^H2568עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה ^H6240 לְמַלְכ֥וּת ^H4438 אָסָֽא׃ ^H609	10	So they assembled^H6908 at Jerusalem^H3389 in the third^H7992 month^H2320 of the fifteenth^H2568 ^H6240 year^H8141 of Asa's reign.^H4438	καὶ^G2532 συνήχθησαν^G4863 εἰς^G1519 Ιερουσαλημ^G2419 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 μηνὶ^G3303 τῷ^G3588 τρίτῳ^G5154 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 πεντεκαιδεκάτῳ^G4003 ἔτει^G2094 τῆς^G3588 βασιλείας^G932 Ασα.^G760
וַיִּזְבְּח֤וּ ^H2076 לַיהוָה֙ ^H3068 בַּיּ֣וֹם ^H3117 הַה֔וּא ^H1931 מִן־^H4480הַשָּׁלָ֖ל ^H7998 הֵבִ֑יאוּ ^H935 בָּקָר֙ ^H1241 שְׁבַ֣ע ^H7651 מֵא֔וֹת ^H3967 וְצֹ֖אן ^H6629 שִׁבְעַ֥ת ^H7651 אֲלָפִֽים׃ ^H505	11	And they sacrificed^H2076 to the Lord^H3068 that day^H3117 700 oxen^H1241 and 7,000 sheep^H6629 from the spoil^H7998 they had brought.^H935	καὶ^G2532 ἔθυσεν^G2380 τῷ^G3588 κυρίῳ^G2962 ἐν^G1722 ἐκείνῃ^G1565 τῇ^G3588 ἡμέρᾳ^G2250 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 σκύλων,^G4661 ὧν^G3739 ἤνεγκαν,^G5342 μόσχους^G3448 ἑπτακοσίους καὶ^G2532 πρόβατα^G4263 ἑπτακισχίλια.^G2035
וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ ^H935 בַבְּרִ֔ית ^H1285 לִדְר֕וֹשׁ ^H1875 אֶת־^H853יְהוָ֖ה ^H3068 אֱלֹהֵ֣י ^H430 אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם ^H1 בְּכָל־^H3605לְבָבָ֖ם ^H3824 וּבְכָל־^H3605נַפְשָֽׁם׃ ^H5315	12	And they entered^H935 into the covenant^H1285 to seek^H1875 the Lord^H3068 God^H430 of their fathers with all^H1 their heart^H3605 and soul;^H3824	καὶ^G2532 διῆλθεν^G1330 ἐν^G1722 διαθήκῃ^G1242 ζητῆσαι^G2212 κύριον^G2962 θεὸν^G2316 τῶν^G3588 πατέρων^G3962 αὐτῶν^G846 ἐξ^G1537 ὅλης^G3650 τῆς^G3588 καρδίας^G2588 καὶ^G2532 ἐξ^G1537 ὅλης^G3650 τῆς^G3588 ψυχῆς·^G5590
וְכֹ֨ל ^H3605 אֲשֶׁ֧ר ^H834 לֹֽא־^H3808יִדְרֹ֛שׁ ^H1875 לַיהוָ֥ה ^H3069 אֱלֹהֵֽי־^H430יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ^H3478 יוּמָ֑ת ^H4191 לְמִן־^H4480קָטֹן֙ ^H6996 וְעַד־^H5704גָּד֔וֹל ^H1419 לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ ^H376 וְעַד־^H5704אִשָּֽׁה׃ ^H802	13	and whoever^H834 ^H3605 would not seek^H1875 the Lord^H3068 God^H430 of Israel^H3478 should be put^H4191 to death,^H4191 whether^H4480 small^H9512 or^H5704 great,^H1419 man^H376 or^H5704 woman.^H802	καὶ^G2532 πᾶς,^G3956 ὃς^G3739 ἐὰν^G1437 μὴ^G3165 ἐκζητήσῃ^G1567 κύριον^G2962 θεὸν^G2316 Ισραηλ,^G2474 ἀποθανεῖται^G599 ἀπὸ^G575 νεωτέρου^G3501 ἕως^G2193 πρεσβυτέρου,^G4245 ἀπὸ^G575 ἀνδρὸς^G435 ἕως^G2193 γυναικός.^G1135
וַיִּשָּֽׁבְעוּ֙ ^H7650 לַיהוָ֔ה ^H3068 בְּק֥וֹל ^H6963 גָּד֖וֹל ^H1419 וּבִתְרוּעָ֑ה ^H8643 וּבַחֲצֹצְר֖וֹת ^H2689 וּבְשׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ ^H7782	14	Moreover, they made^H7650 an oath^H7650 to the Lord^H3068 with a loud^H1419 voice,^H6963 with shouting,^H8643 with trumpets,^H2689 and with horns.^H7782	καὶ^G2532 ὤμοσαν^G3660 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 κυρίῳ^G2962 ἐν^G1722 φωνῇ^G5456 μεγάλῃ^G3173 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 σάλπιγξιν^G4536 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 κερατίναις.
וַיִּשְׂמְח֨וּ ^H8055 כָל־^H3605יְהוּדָ֜ה ^H3063 עַל־^H5921הַשְּׁבוּעָ֗ה ^H7621 כִּ֤י ^H3588 בְכָל־^H3605לְבָבָם֙ ^H3824 נִשְׁבָּ֔עוּ ^H7650 וּבְכָל־^H3605רְצוֹנָ֣ם ^H7522 בִּקְשֻׁ֔הוּ ^H1245 וַיִּמָּצֵ֖א ^H4672 לָהֶ֑ם וַיָּ֧נַח ^H5117 יְהוָ֛ה ^H3068 לָהֶ֖ם מִסָּבִֽיב׃ ^H5439	15	And all^H3605 Judah^H3063 rejoiced^H8055 concerning^H5921 the oath,^H7621 for they had sworn^H7650 with their whole^H3605 heart^H3824 and had sought^H1245 Him earnestly,^H3605 ^H7522 and He let them find^H4672 Him. So the Lord^H3068 gave^H5117 them rest^H5117 on every^H5439 side.^H5439	καὶ^G2532 ηὐφράνθησαν^G2165 πᾶς^G3956 Ιουδα^G2448 περὶ^G4012 τοῦ^G3588 ὅρκου,^G3727 ὅτι^G3754 ἐξ^G1537 ὅλης^G3650 τῆς^G3588 ψυχῆς^G5590 ὤμοσαν^G3660 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 πάσῃ^G3956 θελήσει^G2308 ἐζήτησαν^G2212 αὐτόν,^G846 καὶ^G2532 εὑρέθη^G2147 αὐτοῖς^G846 καὶ^G2532 κατέπαυσεν^G2664 αὐτοῖς^G846 κύριος^G2962 κυκλόθεν.^G2943
וְגַֽם־^H1571מַעֲכָ֞ה ^H4601 אֵ֣ם ^H517 ׀ אָסָ֣א ^H609 הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ^H4428 הֱסִירָהּ֙ ^H5493 מִגְּבִירָ֔ה ^H1377 אֲשֶׁר־^H834עָשְׂתָ֥ה ^H6213 לַאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה ^H842 מִפְלָ֑צֶת ^H4656 וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת ^H3772 אָסָא֙ ^H609 אֶת־^H853מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ ^H4656 וַיָּ֕דֶק ^H1854 וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף ^H8313 בְּנַ֥חַל ^H5158 קִדְרֽוֹן׃ ^H6939	16	And he also^H1571 removed^H5493 Maacah,^H4601 the mother^H517 of King^H4428 Asa,^H609 from the [position of] queen^H1377 mother,^H1377 because^H834 she had made^H6213 a horrid^H4656 image^H4656 as an Asherah,^H842 and Asa^H609 cut^H3772 down^H3772 her horrid^H4656 image,^H4656 crushed^H1854 [it] and burned^H8313 [it] at the brook^H5158 Kidron.^H6939	καὶ^G2532 τὴν^G3588 Μααχα τὴν^G3588 μητέρα^G3384 αὐτοῦ^G846 μετέστησεν^G3179 τοῦ^G3588 μὴ^G3165 εἶναι^G1510 τῇ^G3588 Ἀστάρτῃ λειτουργοῦσαν^G3008 καὶ^G2532 κατέκοψεν^G2629 τὸ^G3588 εἴδωλον^G1497 καὶ^G2532 κατέκαυσεν^G2618 ἐν^G1722 χειμάρρῳ^G5493 Κεδρων.^G2748
וְהַ֨בָּמ֔וֹת ^H1116 לֹא־^H3808סָ֖רוּ ^H5493 מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 רַ֧ק ^H7535 לְבַב־^H3824אָסָ֛א ^H609 הָיָ֥ה ^H1961 שָׁלֵ֖ם ^H8003 כָּל־^H3605יָמָֽיו׃ ^H3117	17	But the high^H1116 places^H1116 were not removed^H5493 from Israel;^H3478 nevertheless^H7534 Asa's heart^H3824 was blameless^H8003 all^H3605 his days.^H3117	πλὴν^G4133 τὰ^G3588 ὑψηλὰ^G5308 οὐκ^G3364 ἀπέστησαν,^G868 ἔτι^G2089 ὑπῆρχεν^G5225 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 Ισραηλ·^G2474 ἀλλ᾽^G235 ἢ^G2228 καρδία^G2588 Ασα^G760 ἐγένετο^G1096 πλήρης^G4134 πάσας^G3956 τὰς^G3588 ἡμέρας^G2250 αὐτοῦ.^G846
