Proposed flag with color from Wales

The fact is that when the British flag was created, England, Scotland and Ireland were represented on it. Wales was then part of England.
Therefore, it is periodically proposed to change the British flag by adding an element from Wales there.
Who knows? Yesterday the country was called Great Britain, and today it is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Everything flows, everything changes.
