The basic principle of translation stems from the Jewish tradition - the holiness of the text. She treats sacred texts very carefully and carefully, in order to preserve their completeness and integrity.

Equally important, Freeman refers to the choice of a comment for the translation. Interpretation should promote understanding of little-known words and concepts, but, most importantly, according to Frima, help the reader deeply understand the text and find ways to further knowledge. It is alien to comments that give a simplified interpretation of the text.
