Teacher of biblical exegesis, Doctor of Philology, senior researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and consultant at the Institute of Bible Translation; descendant of Metropolitan of Novgorod and St. Petersburg Mikhail (Desnitsky).
After more than 20 years of working in various Bible translation projects as a translator, editor and consultant, having sufficient competence and experience, he decided to take on his own Bible translation, starting with the apostolic epistles.

He was not satisfied existing translations, especially of the Gospels, so I decided to make my own version of the translation.
