chapter 11 7th trumpet

Tempel

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Zec 2:1-4 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.
Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.
For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

Here is the dimension of Jerusalem. There is also such a story in Ezekiel. But it never occurred to anyone to measure either the Mosaic tabernacle or the temple of Solomon. They had very definite, known dimensions. It's a different temple.

1Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Mt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. In Hebrew, inside and in the middle is the same word.

emoung בתוכם betham - in the middle, inside.

God is in our midst (Exo 25:8; Ps 132; Ps 21:4) when we are one, and if we are one and He is among us, He is within us.Gen 2:9,3:3,8; Mt 18:20; 1Cor 3:16,6:19; 2Cor 6:16.

The temple of God is not you, not I, but us. And this temple, the living temple needs to be measured. The Scene Has Deserted The scene is empty and the crowds are gone, The love that we shared is still ringing in the air. We sang and prayed, we laughed and cried. And we tried to express what only the hearts can know. But too soon it was over. Only empty places in the dark hall. Just you and me. It was so easy to call You "Lord," when thousands of voices sang praises to You, But now no one hears me, Will hear me now, be with me now. The scene is empty and the crowds are gone, Lord, now I need Your song. Give me joy and confidence, When no one looks at me. I need you more than words can express. Tomorrow is such an ordinary day And I so need to feel You. Hold my hand, please hold me then, I need you, Lord.

Rev 11:2 42 month For the first time we meet this figure: 42 month equals 3.5 years.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Here 3.5 years are expressed in days, which is 3.5 times for 360 - the Jewish year.

2 WITNESSES

2 witnesses - perhaps Enoch and Elijah, they did not see death.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

SODOM - EGYPT - JERUSALEM

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

What does Egypt have in common with Sodom?

  1. All of them were economically prosperous.
  2. The righteous suffered in these places.
  3. Of them it was necessary to leave.
2Pe 1:7-8 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It says about spiritual similarity. The same spirit reigned. Here, the righteous will also receive what Lot has received, the Israelites and Jesus. - hatred.

Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Plugs, again a connection with Exodus.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Only 7,000 were lost, but others gave glory to the God of heaven.

7th trump

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

Finally, 7th angel with a trumpet. This was promised to us in Rev 10:7, and in Rev 9:13-21 was the 6th angel. In Rev 10:1-11:14 there was a pause between the angels. Remember the 6th angel with a trumpet.

Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

How much people are stubborn, but God is stubborn, the diamond is against the stone.

The first 4 pipes are connected with fire.

2Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The last 3 executions are 3 griefs.

Rev 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

It means that this is still a flower. And it's true, 5th angel could only torment, and 6th already killed. But the last is the coming.

Jesus. Earth - heaven - church

Rev 11:16 Again in heaven. Heaven has not gone away, it's just that events happen at the same time in heaven and on earth. And Jesus is the Lord everywhere. Three worlds are described here: the earth, the heavens and the church.
  1. Events occur everywhere, they are very different, therefore it is difficult to trace the direct chronology of events.
  2. More complexity is added by the fact that there is no time in heaven.
  3. These 3 worlds begin to intersect.
Before the church, they existed in parallel: the church is separated from the state. Now the sky descends to earth for a meeting with the church. They intersect, there is a short circuit, which is called the wrath of God.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Something happened to those who are in heaven. They are already asking for no retribution, but mercy, just as Moses interceded for Israel by spending time in the presence of God.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

What is it? The ark had long since disappeared, Solomon had brought him into the temple and everything. Why, then, is the ark where the invisible God was seated on the cherubim? But we have already seen God, as He is a network surrounded by real cherubs. Today, give Israel an ark and a temple will be built. Until now, the Jews were afraid of the Arabs, but it becomes more and more obvious that there is nothing to fear, the Arabs are doing the greatest possible harm to the Jews if they could do worse than they would have done. It will not be worse. Ariel Sharon has already ascended the temple mountain.

Jer 3:16 … they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. This is the last in the Bible mention of the ark.
