Chronological plan for reading the Bible
Psalter (Tehillim) Reading Plans

Acctually, the best plan for reading the Bible is to make it a reference book for the season - put it on the table and read like a regular book from cover to cover. It is necessary to read daily, preferably in the morning and in the evening.
In the morning, because the head is fresh and it is easier to enter the regime. If we postpone it until later, when free time appears, we can simply forget.
In the evening it is good to repeat or read the key thought, the key verse read in the morning. So we get food for thought at night.

My experience

I read everything several times in a row and once in chronological order, I did not notice much difference.
Once I read it in a couple of months, so you can cover the entire Bible as a whole. It was interesting.

Difficult passages are best read while fasting, then the mind becomes clearer.

Now I study topics more often, you take a topic and read what is written in different books.
Once I'm sorting through a book, like Revelation...

Types of reading plans

It's best to read the entire Bible first:
  • everything;
  • New Testament first, then Old Testament;
  • Bible for the year;
  • ...
it's up to you.

If you read the Bible for the 1st time, then the 2nd time it will not be so interesting to do it exactly the same way, so you can do it differently:

  • OT in the morning, OT in the evening;
  • Parallel. Old and New Testament, plus Poetry books;
  • in chronological order;
  • ...
If you have already read the Bible more than once, there may be books that you would especially like to delve into rather than read the whole thing again:
  • 121 Day Biographical Bible Reading Plan;
  • Wisdom daily - Psalms and Proverbs for the month;
  • 71 days in Isaiah;
  • The words of Jesus;
  • 100 important days of Jesus;
  • 250 Very Important Bible passages;
  • 150 Great Bible Stories;
  • Psalms daily;
  • ...
It's like an example. You can find these and other Bible reading plans in MyBible Android app.

Refreshment! Plans Bible reading

Bible for the year (1 year)

Experience, understanding and joy come from reading the whole Bible. Give this precious Book at least 15 minutes a day using the most popular reading plan "The Bible for the Year." The daily reading of the Old and New Testaments, the Psalms and the Proverbs will guide you through God's Word throughout the year.

Chronological (1 year)

The "chronological" plan is compiled on the basis of recent historical studies so that you read about the recorded events in the Bible in the sequence in which they actually occurred. This plan is a suitable choice for those who, during reading, want to take into account the historical context. Following this plan, you will read the Bible completely in one year.

Historical (1 year)

Have you ever wondered in what order the Old Testament was read in ancient Israel? Or in what order were the books of the New Testament written? In this respect, the order of the Old Testament books is very similar to the Israeli Jewish Bible, beginning with the Law and up to the Prophets. The sequence of the books of the New Testament is compiled on the basis of recent historical studies and shows the order of their writing. These studies are not final and irrefutable! But even so, such a reading plan can serve as a new revelation for you when you study the Bible.

Project 3: 45+ (1 year)

"Project 3:45" + is an expanded version of the New Testament reading plan "Project 3:45". The plus sign means that Psalter, Proverbs (every day), and some heads of the Old Testament (5 times in 7 days) are added to the daily reading.

ESV Study Bible (1 year)

The plan contains daily readings containing excerpts from four sections of the Bible: the Psalter and books about wisdom, the Pentateuch and the history of Israel, the Chronicles and Prophets, as well as the Gospels and Epistles of the Apostles.

90 Days Bible (90 days)

This plan was created by Ted Cooper in 2002, to take you through the Bible in just 3 months. The plan involves reading about 12 pages a day.

Canonical (1 year)

This plan guides you through the chapter from Genesis to Revelation.

In the morning and in the evening (1 year)

This plan contains small fragments of Scripture filled with spiritual wisdom for evening and morning reflection on the Word.

The site is made for Russians, because the website contains the best translations of the complete Bible into Russian.
The Bible is simple. The style is simple, light, full-screen, large, easy to read. Personally, I really like it.
  1. Synodal is our standard,
  2. New Russian Translation - the best modern translation,
  3. Translation of the Biblical League is one of the best modern translations, a lighter Russian,
  4. Translation in Zaoksky, Kulakov - perhaps the most qualitative of the denominational translations (Adventists)
There are translations of the New Testament and a couple of translations into Belarusian.

It is better to open the Bible reading, not audio. Simply if you open an audio Bible, you will not see the text, if you open the text, then the player with an audio Bible will be present on the page for this chapter.

Parallel reading of two translations

It also looks pretty simple, stylish and convenient.

You can look at the verse at once in all translations, however there is a filter and you can choose which translations to look at.

There is also an opportunity to look at the verse in the original language and in Russian with Strong's numbers.
