First looked that the reason for the launch of the messenger as a separate app due to too heavy weight application Facebook, which is bad for the phone (it's not a full-fledged computer, the application needs to be compact).

In fact, the reason is somewhat different. If social networks were mostly ribbon, becomes today the main chat connection with someone, a group of ...
And after the advent of bots, the popularity of the instant messengers has grown. Because there was a separate site app. But it is still linked to Facebook and all contacts in there.

Car accident. Europrotocol

The application helps to ensure recording and transfer of accident data to AIS MTPL for the purpose of the victim's application to the insurance company in the event of a traffic accident without the participation of authorized police officers in cases where the parties to a traffic accident have disagreements about the accident (in this case, the maximum payment of 100 thousand rubles), or when there are no disagreements and the participants form the so-called "unlimited Europrotocol" (detailed conditions at PCA website).
After installing this application on a smartphone or tablet computer equipped with a camera, it is necessary to perform authorization through the "Gosudoslugi" portal (a confirmed account is required). Then you can take photos of vehicles and their damages at the scene of the accident, record the coordinates of the accident site and time of the accident based on the use of signals from global satellite navigation systems or cellular base stations and transfer the received photos with additional information about the accident via the Internet to AIS OSAGO, from which they can be obtained by the insurers to consider the application of the victim for insurance compensation in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Without authorization through the State Services portal, the application provides an opportunity to check the MTPL insurance policy by scanning the QR code, as well as by manually entering the number and series of the policy.

Simplenote

reliable site.

Free notes service.
Good for those who need to store simple text notes. The service is not overloaded with unnecessary features, does not offer an infinite number of times to buy a paid version. It's easy to use, not gluttonous, which is important for a smartphone.

I used to use Evernote before. But I would like something simpler and without constant reminders that I have a stripped down version. I do not want a full version, I do not need a tractor, I need a bicycle. And in general I refuse always from paid versions, too many small payments, I will be glad to get rid of existing ones.

How does it work?

We make a note, we write a tag to it. There are no folders. Evernote has folders and tags, but it's more convenient for me to use one. Tags are more convenient because several tags can be written to one note.

Added a note on the computer, it was added to the smartphone and vice versa. The same with editing. Changed the note in one place - changed everywhere.

Here everything is simple and understandable. If you have a Google account, you do not need to register. And if you do not have a Google account, you'll need to register an account.
We go in, choose the languages we own (by the way, I somewhere in the account indicated, so in my case he issued a list and asked me how it matches

I also had almost all of my store discount cards.

Instagram

Service for sharing photos and videos with elements of sociality.
Photos are square, Polaroid style.
Polaroid used to take instant photos and they were square.
Hence the name Instagram - Instant.
That is, just as Polaroid instantly developed photos, so Instagram instantly posts photos.

How does it work?

1. Put the app on,
2. takes the photo,
3. applies a filter to the photo,
4. share the photo through any social network, including Instagram.

Why Instagram?

And really, why? When there are social networks that are much more functional.
The thing is, people use social media mostly feeds.
Some use chat.

That's why messengers with elements of sociality have become popular.
There, the user finds everything he needs and nothing unnecessary.

And the most interesting thing in the feed was the pictures. So much for Instagram - only pictures.
And, thanks to filters, they look more interesting than in social networks.
The format allows you to comfortably look at a smartphone.

What do people do on Instagram?

• Some people like to take pictures and share everywhere.
• Creativity - someone knows how to take pictures and share their creativity.
• Employment - if you're active, you might earn something.
• Promotion - you can sell products or promote your services.

HUAWEI AppGaller

It looks better than its raw competitors, because it has been working for several years and has gained quite a few applications.

LineageOS

| home page |

Open source Android OS.
If you've heard of CyanogenMod, you'll understand.
If not, then CyanogenMod ceased to exist and was reborn from the ashes under a new name, as it has happened more than once.
So OpenOffice became LibreOffice, CMS Mambo became Joomla!, the .GIF graphics extension became .PNG.
Not always the old ceased to exist, in our case CyanogenMod died - long live LineageOS.

Disadvantages

I’ll tell you right away about the shortcomings, according to the principle - do no harm.
Your OS may be perceived as unreliable and there may be a problem installing some applications, such as banking.
And of course, like everything free - install at your own peril and risk.
That is, if we install, then well, very carefully and accurately.

Benefits

Of course, you get root rights, that is, you will not have imposed programs that take up half the space for software.
You will have pure Android, which means everything will work faster.
There will be more free space.
Well, updates. Official Android will release updates for your phone model once or twice, but there are no restrictions here.
Let's say I bought an expensive flagship phone so that I don't change it for a long time, don't rebuild it, get used to it...
After 5 years, it was still more powerful than budget phones, but the version of Android on it was hopelessly outdated and therefore I could not install many applications.

Recommendation

Personally, I would not install LineageOS while the phone is working fine.
But when I start thinking about something new, why not give LineageOS a chance to revive my phone?
You decide yourself.
