¹ בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ H2320 month הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י H8066 In the eighth בִּשְׁנַ֥ת H8141 year שְׁתַּ֖יִם H8147 in the second לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ H1867 of Darius הָיָ֣ה H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 came the word יְהוָ֗ה H3068 of the LORD אֶל־ H413 to זְכַרְיָה֙ H2148 unto Zechariah בֶּן־ H1121 the son בֶּ֣רֶכְיָ֔ה H1296 of Berechiah בֶּן־ H1121 the son עִדּ֥וֹ H5714 of Iddo הַנָּבִ֖יא H5030 the prophet לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

² קָצַ֧ף H7107 displeased יְהוָ֛ה H3068 The LORD עַל־ H5921 with אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם H1 with your fathers קָֽצֶף׃ H7110 hath been sore

³ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ H559 Therefore say אֲלֵהֶ֗ם H413 to כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 thou unto them Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts שׁ֣וּבוּ H7725 Turn אֵלַ֔י H413 to me נְאֻ֖ם H5002 ye unto me saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts וְאָשׁ֣וּב H7725 and I will turn אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם H413 to you אָמַ֖ר H559 unto you saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

⁴ אַל־ H408 nay תִּהְי֣וּ H1961 not be like כַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֡ם H1 Be ye not as your fathers אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 to whom קָרְאֽוּ־ H7121 have cried אֲלֵיהֶם֩ H413 about הַנְּבִיאִ֨ים H5030 prophets הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֜ים H7223 unto whom the former לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 saying כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts שׁ֤וּבוּ H7725 Turn נָא֙ H4994 now מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֣ם H1870 ways הָרָעִ֔ים H7451 ye now from your evil <וּמַעֲלִילֵיכֶם כ> (וּמַֽעַלְלֵיכֶ֖ם H4611 doing ק) הָֽרָעִ֑ים H7451 and your evil וְלֹ֥א H3808 did not שָׁמְע֛וּ H8085 but they did not hear וְלֹֽא־ H3808 or הִקְשִׁ֥יבוּ H7181 nor hearken אֵלַ֖י H413 to me נְאֻם־ H5002 unto me saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

⁵ אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם H1 Your fathers אַיֵּה־ H346 where הֵ֑ם H1992 are they וְהַ֨נְּבִאִ֔ים H5030 where they? and the prophets הַלְעוֹלָ֖ם H5769 alway יִֽחְיֽוּ׃ H2421 do they live

⁶ אַ֣ךְ ׀ H389 but דְּבָרַ֣י H1697 But my words וְחֻקַּ֗י H2706 and my statutes אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 which צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ H6680 which I commanded אֶת־ H853 עֲבָדַ֣י H5650 my servants הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים H5030 the prophets הֲל֥וֹא H3808 not הִשִּׂ֖יגוּ H5381 did they not take hold אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם H1 fathers וַיָּשׁ֣וּבוּ H7725 break וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ H559 and said כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which זָמַ֜ם H2161 thought יְהוָ֤ה H3068 Like as the LORD צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 of hosts לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 to do לָ֔נוּ H0 כִּדְרָכֵ֙ינוּ֙ H1870 unto us according to our ways וּכְמַ֣עֲלָלֵ֔ינוּ H4611 and according to our doings כֵּ֖ן H3651 so עָשָׂ֥ה H6213 so hath he dealt אִתָּֽנוּ׃ H854 for ס

⁸ רָאִ֣יתִי ׀ H7200 I saw הַלַּ֗יְלָה H3915 by night וְהִנֵּה־ H2009 and behold אִישׁ֙ H376 and behold a man רֹכֵב֙ H7392 riding עַל־ H5921 and ס֣וּס H5483 horse אָדֹ֔ם H122 upon a red וְה֣וּא H1931 and he עֹמֵ֔ד H5975 and he stood בֵּ֥ין H996 among הַהֲדַסִּ֖ים H1918 among the myrtle trees אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which בַּמְּצֻלָ֑ה H4699 that in the bottom וְאַחֲרָיו֙ H310 and behind סוּסִ֣ים H5483 horses אֲדֻמִּ֔ים H122 him red שְׂרֻקִּ֖ים H8320 speckled וּלְבָנִֽים׃ H3836 and white

⁹ וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 Then said מָה־ H4100 what אֵ֣לֶּה H428 these אֲדֹנִ֑י H113 I O my lord וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 with me said אֵלַ֗י H413 about הַמַּלְאָךְ֙ H4397 what these? And the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that talked בִּ֔י H0 אֲנִ֥י H589 I אַרְאֶ֖ךָּ H7200 unto me I will shew מָה־ H4100 what הֵ֥מָּה H1992 like אֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 these

¹⁰ וַיַּ֗עַן H6030 answered הָאִ֛ישׁ H376 And the man הָעֹמֵ֥ד H5975 that stood בֵּין־ H996 among הַהֲדַסִּ֖ים H1918 among the myrtle trees וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 and said אֵ֚לֶּה H428 These אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 whom שָׁלַ֣ח H7971 hath sent יְהוָ֔ה H3068 These whom the LORD לְהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ H1980 to walk בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 to and fro through the earth

¹¹ וַֽיַּעֲנ֞וּ H6030 And they answered אֶת־ H853 מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 the angel יְהוָ֗ה H3069 God הָֽעֹמֵד֙ H5975 that stood בֵּ֣ין H996 among הַהֲדַסִּ֔ים H1918 among the myrtle trees וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ H559 and said הִתְהַלַּ֣כְנוּ H1980 We have walked to and fro בָאָ֑רֶץ H776 through the earth וְהִנֵּ֥ה H2009 and behold כָל־ H3605 all הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 and behold all the earth יֹשֶׁ֥בֶת H3427 sitteth still וְשֹׁקָֽטֶת׃ H8252 and is at rest

¹² וַיַּ֣עַן H6030 answered מַלְאַךְ־ H4397 Then the angel יְהוָה֮ H3068 of the LORD וַיֹּאמַר֒ H559 and said יְהוָ֣ה H3068 O LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts עַד־ H5704 against מָתַ֗י H4970 how אַתָּה֙ H859 you לֹֽא־ H3808 no תְרַחֵ֣ם H7355 how long wilt thou not have mercy אֶת־ H853 יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 on Jerusalem וְאֵ֖ת H853 עָרֵ֣י H5892 and on the cities יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 of Judah אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which זָעַ֔מְתָּה H2194 against which thou hast had indignation זֶ֖ה H2088 these שִׁבְעִ֥ים H7657 these threescore and ten שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 whole age

¹³ וַיַּ֣עַן H6030 answered יְהוָ֗ה H3068 And the LORD אֶת־ H853 הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ H4397 the angel הַדֹּבֵ֥ר H1696 that talked בִּ֖י H0 דְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 words טוֹבִ֑ים H2896 with me good דְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 words נִחֻמִֽים׃ H5150 comfortable

¹⁴ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 with me said אֵלַ֗י H413 about הַמַּלְאָךְ֙ H4397 So the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that communed בִּ֔י H0 קְרָ֣א H7121 unto me Cry לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 thou saying כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֖ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts קִנֵּ֧אתִי H7065 I am jealous לִירוּשָׁלִַ֛ם H3389 for Jerusalem וּלְצִיּ֖וֹן H6726 and for Zion קִנְאָ֥ה H7068 jealousy גְדוֹלָֽה׃ H1419 with a great

¹⁵ וְקֶ֤צֶף H7110 sore גָּדוֹל֙ H1419 And I am very אֲנִ֣י H589 I קֹצֵ֔ף H7107 displeased עַל־ H5921 with הַגּוֹיִ֖ם H1471 with the heathen הַשַּֽׁאֲנַנִּ֑ים H7600 at ease אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 after אֲנִי֙ H589 I קָצַ֣פְתִּי H7107 displeased מְּעָ֔ט H4592 for I was but a little וְהֵ֖מָּה H1992 they עָזְר֥וּ H5826 and they helped לְרָעָֽה׃ H7451 forward the affliction

¹⁶ לָכֵ֞ן H3651 Therefore כֹּֽה־ H3541 thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Therefore thus saith יְהוָ֗ה H3068 the LORD שַׁ֤בְתִּי H7725 I am returned לִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 to Jerusalem בְּֽרַחֲמִ֔ים H7356 with mercies בֵּיתִי֙ H1004 my house יִבָּ֣נֶה H1129 shall be built בָּ֔הּ H0 נְאֻ֖ם H5002 in it saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts <וְקָוָה כ> (וְקָ֥ו H6961 line ק) יִנָּטֶ֖ה H5186 shall be stretched forth עַל־ H5921 over יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 upon Jerusalem

¹⁷ ע֣וֹד ׀ H5750 Again קְרָ֣א H7121 Cry לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 yet saying כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts ע֛וֹד H5750 will again תְּפוּצֶ֥ינָה H6327 shall yet be spread abroad עָרַ֖י H5892 My cities מִטּ֑וֹב H2896 through prosperity וְנִחַ֨ם H5162 shall yet comfort יְהוָ֥ה H3068 and the LORD עוֹד֙ H5750 will again אֶת־ H853 צִיּ֔וֹן H6726 Zion וּבָחַ֥ר H977 and shall yet choose ע֖וֹד H5750 and again בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 Jerusalem ס

¹⁸ וָאֶשָּׂ֥א H5375 Then lifted I up אֶת־ H853 עֵינַ֖י H5869 mine eyes וָאֵ֑רֶא H7200 and saw וְהִנֵּ֖ה H2009 and behold אַרְבַּ֥ע H702 and behold four קְרָנֽוֹת׃ H7161 horns

¹⁹ וָאֹמַ֗ר H559 And I said אֶל־ H413 to הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ H4397 unto the angel הַדֹּבֵ֥ר H1696 that talked בִּ֖י H0 מָה־ H4100 What אֵ֑לֶּה H428 These וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 with me What these? And he answered אֵלַ֔י H413 about אֵ֤לֶּה H428 These הַקְּרָנוֹת֙ H7161 me These the horns אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which זֵר֣וּ H2219 which have scattered אֶת־ H853 יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 Judah אֶת־ H853 יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 Israel וִירוּשָׁלָֽם׃ H3389 and Jerusalem ס

²⁰ וַיַּרְאֵ֣נִי H7200 shewed יְהוָ֔ה H3068 And the LORD אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 me four חָרָשִֽׁים׃ H2796 carpenters

²¹ וָאֹמַ֕ר H559 Then said מָ֛ה H4100 What אֵ֥לֶּה H428 are these בָאִ֖ים H935 I What come לַֽעֲשׂ֑וֹת H6213 these to do וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 ? And he spake לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 saying אֵ֣לֶּה H428 These הַקְּרָנ֞וֹת H7161 These the horns אֲשֶׁר־ H834 which זֵ֣רוּ H2219 which have scattered אֶת־ H853 יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 Judah כְּפִי־ H6310 so that אִישׁ֙ H376 no man לֹא־ H3808 no נָשָׂ֣א H5375 did lift up רֹאשׁ֔וֹ H7218 his head וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ H935 but these are come אֵ֙לֶּה֙ H428 these לְהַחֲרִ֣יד H2729 to fray אֹתָ֔ם H853 לְיַדּ֞וֹת H3034 them to cast out אֶת־ H853 קַרְנ֣וֹת H7161 the horns הַגּוֹיִ֗ם H1471 of the Gentiles הַנֹּשְׂאִ֥ים H5375 which lifted up קֶ֛רֶן H7161 horn אֶל־ H413 against אֶ֥רֶץ H776 over the land יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah לְזָרוֹתָֽהּ׃ H2219 to scatter ס

¹ וָאֶשָּׂ֥א H5375 I lifted up עֵינַ֛י H5869 mine eyes וָאֵ֖רֶא H7200 again and looked וְהִנֵּה־ H2009 and behold אִ֑ישׁ H376 and behold a man וּבְיָד֖וֹ H3027 in his hand חֶ֥בֶל H2256 line מִדָּֽה׃ H4060 with a measuring

² וָאֹמַ֕ר H559 Then said אָ֖נָה H575 Where אַתָּ֣ה H859 Whither הֹלֵ֑ךְ H1980 I Whither goest וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 thou? And he said אֵלַ֗י H413 to me לָמֹד֙ H4058 unto me To measure אֶת־ H853 יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 Jerusalem לִרְא֥וֹת H7200 to see כַּמָּֽה־ H4100 what רָחְבָּ֖הּ H7341 the breadth וְכַמָּ֥ה H4100 is and how אָרְכָּֽהּ׃ H753 thereof and what the length

³ וְהִנֵּ֗ה H2009 and behold הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ H4397 And behold the angel הַדֹּבֵ֥ר H1696 that talked בִּ֖י H0 יֹצֵ֑א H3318 with me went forth וּמַלְאָ֣ךְ H4397 angel אַחֵ֔ר H312 and another יֹצֵ֖א H3318 went out לִקְרָאתֽוֹ׃ H7125 to meet

⁴ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And said אֵלָ֔ו H413 to him רֻ֗ץ H7323 unto him Run דַּבֵּ֛ר H1696 speak אֶל־ H413 to הַנַּ֥עַר H5288 young man הַלָּ֖ז H1975 to this לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying פְּרָזוֹת֙ H6519 towns without walls תֵּשֵׁ֣ב H3427 shall be inhabited יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 Jerusalem מֵרֹ֥ב H7230 for the multitude אָדָ֛ם H120 of men וּבְהֵמָ֖ה H929 and cattle בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃ H8432 therein

⁵ וַאֲנִ֤י H589 I אֶֽהְיֶה־ H1961 become לָּהּ֙ H0 נְאֻם־ H5002 For I saith יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God ח֥וֹמַת H2346 will be unto her a wall אֵ֖שׁ H784 of fire סָבִ֑יב H5439 round about וּלְכָב֖וֹד H3519 and will be the glory אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 become בְתוֹכָֽהּ׃ H8432 in the midst פ

⁶ ה֣וֹי H1945 Ho ה֗וֹי H1945 ho וְנֻ֛סוּ H5127 and flee מֵאֶ֥רֶץ H776 from the land צָפ֖וֹן H6828 of the north נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֑ה H3068 the LORD כִּ֠י H3588 for כְּאַרְבַּ֞ע H702 as the four רוּח֧וֹת H7307 winds הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם H8064 of the heaven פֵּרַ֥שְׂתִּי H6566 for I have spread you abroad אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

⁷ ה֥וֹי H1945 thyself O צִיּ֖וֹן H6726 Zion הִמָּלְטִ֑י H4422 Deliver יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת H3427 that dwellest בַּת־ H1323 the daughter בָּבֶֽל׃ H894 of Babylon ס

⁸ כִּ֣י H3588 For כֹ֣ה H3541 thus אָמַר֮ H559 For thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאוֹת֒ H6635 of hosts אַחַ֣ר H310 After כָּב֔וֹד H3519 the glory שְׁלָחַ֕נִי H7971 hath he sent אֶל־ H413 against הַגּוֹיִ֖ם H1471 me unto the nations הַשֹּׁלְלִ֣ים H7997 which spoiled אֶתְכֶ֑ם H853 כִּ֚י H3588 for הַנֹּגֵ֣עַ H5060 you for he that toucheth בָּכֶ֔ם H0 נֹגֵ֖עַ H5060 you toucheth בְּבָבַ֥ת H892 the apple עֵינֽוֹ׃ H5869 of his eye

⁹ כִּ֠י H3588 for הִנְנִ֨י H2005 behold מֵנִ֤יף H5130 For behold I will shake אֶת־ H853 יָדִי֙ H3027 mine hand עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם H5921 over וְהָי֥וּ H1961 become שָׁלָ֖ל H7998 upon them and they shall be a spoil לְעַבְדֵיהֶ֑ם H5650 bondage וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם H3045 and ye shall know כִּֽי־ H3588 that יְהוָ֥ה H3068 that the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts שְׁלָחָֽנִי׃ H7971 hath sent ס

¹⁰ רָנִּ֥י H7442 Sing וְשִׂמְחִ֖י H8055 and rejoice בַּת־ H1323 O daughter צִיּ֑וֹן H6726 of Zion כִּ֧י H3588 for הִנְנִי־ H2005 behold בָ֛א H935 for lo I come וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֥י H7931 and I will dwell בְתוֹכֵ֖ךְ H8432 in the midst נְאֻם־ H5002 of thee saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

¹¹ וְנִלְווּ֩ H3867 shall be joined גוֹיִ֨ם H1471 nations רַבִּ֤ים H7227 And many אֶל־ H413 to יְהוָה֙ H3068 to the LORD בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 in that day הַה֔וּא H1931 he וְהָ֥יוּ H1961 and will become לִ֖י H0 לְעָ֑ם H5971 and shall be my people וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֣י H7931 and I will dwell בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ H8432 in the midst וְיָדַ֕עַתְּ H3045 of thee and thou shalt know כִּי־ H3588 that יְהוָ֥ה H3068 that the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts שְׁלָחַ֥נִי H7971 hath sent אֵלָֽיִךְ׃ H413 about

¹² וְנָחַ֨ל H5157 shall inherit יְהוָ֤ה H3068 And the LORD אֶת־ H853 יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 Judah חֶלְק֔וֹ H2506 his portion עַ֖ל H5921 and אַדְמַ֣ת H127 land הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ H6944 in the holy וּבָחַ֥ר H977 and shall choose ע֖וֹד H5750 and will again בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 Jerusalem

¹ וַיַּרְאֵ֗נִי H7200 And he shewed אֶת־ H853 יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ H3091 me Joshua הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֔וֹל H1419 the high עֹמֵ֕ד H5975 standing לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 before מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 the angel יְהוָ֑ה H3068 of the LORD וְהַשָּׂטָ֛ן H7854 and Satan עֹמֵ֥ד H5975 standing עַל־ H5921 at יְמִינ֖וֹ H3225 at his right hand לְשִׂטְנֽוֹ׃ H7853 to resist

² וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 said יְהוָ֜ה H3068 And the LORD אֶל־ H413 to הַשָּׂטָ֗ן H7854 unto Satan יִגְעַ֨ר H1605 rebuke יְהוָ֤ה H3068 The LORD בְּךָ֙ H0 הַשָּׂטָ֔ן H7854 thee O Satan וְיִגְעַ֤ר H1605 rebuke יְהוָה֙ H3068 even the LORD בְּךָ֔ H0 הַבֹּחֵ֖ר H977 that hath chosen בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 Jerusalem הֲל֧וֹא H3808 not זֶ֦ה H2088 is this א֖וּד H181 thee not this a brand מֻצָּ֥ל H5337 plucked מֵאֵֽשׁ׃ H784 burning

³ וִיהוֹשֻׁ֕עַ H3091 Now Joshua הָיָ֥ה H1961 become לָבֻ֖שׁ H3847 was clothed בְּגָדִ֣ים H899 garments צוֹאִ֑ים H6674 with filthy וְעֹמֵ֖ד H5975 and stood לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 before הַמַּלְאָֽךְ׃ H4397 the angel

⁴ וַיַּ֣עַן H6030 And he answered וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 and spake אֶל־ H413 to הָעֹמְדִ֤ים H5975 unto those that stood לְפָנָיו֙ H6440 before לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 him saying הָסִ֛ירוּ H5493 Take away הַבְּגָדִ֥ים H899 garments הַצֹּאִ֖ים H6674 the filthy מֵעָלָ֑יו H5921 and וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 from him And unto him he said אֵלָ֗יו H413 to him רְאֵ֨ה H7200 Behold הֶעֱבַ֤רְתִּי H5674 to pass מֵעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ H5921 and עֲוֹנֶ֔ךָ H5771 I have caused thine iniquity וְהַלְבֵּ֥שׁ H3847 from thee and I will clothe אֹתְךָ֖ H853 מַחֲלָצֽוֹת׃ H4254 thee with change of raiment

⁵ וָאֹמַ֕ר H559 And I said יָשִׂ֛ימוּ H7760 Let them set צָנִ֥יף H6797 mitre טָה֖וֹר H2889 a fair עַל־ H5921 on רֹאשׁ֑וֹ H7218 upon his head וַיָּשִׂימוּ֩ H7760 So they set הַצָּנִ֨יף H6797 mitre הַטָּה֜וֹר H2889 a fair עַל־ H5921 on רֹאשׁ֗וֹ H7218 upon his head וַיַּלְבִּשֻׁ֙הוּ֙ H3847 and clothed בְּגָדִ֔ים H899 him with garments וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ H4397 And the angel יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD עֹמֵֽד׃ H5975 stood by

⁶ וַיָּ֙עַד֙ H5749 protested מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 And the angel יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God בִּיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ H3091 unto Joshua לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

⁷ כֹּה־ H3541 Thus אָמַ֞ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֗וֹת H6635 of hosts אִם־ H518 If בִּדְרָכַ֤י H1870 in my ways תֵּלֵךְ֙ H1980 will walk וְאִ֣ם H518 and if אֶת־ H853 מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֣י H4931 my charge תִשְׁמֹ֔ר H8104 and if thou wilt keep וְגַם־ H1571 will also אַתָּה֙ H859 you תָּדִ֣ין H1777 then thou shalt also judge אֶת־ H853 בֵּיתִ֔י H1004 my house וְגַ֖ם H1571 and also תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר H8104 and shalt also keep אֶת־ H853 חֲצֵרָ֑י H2691 my courts וְנָתַתִּ֤י H5414 and I will give לְךָ֙ H0 מַהְלְכִ֔ים H4108 thee places to walk בֵּ֥ין H996 among הָעֹמְדִ֖ים H5975 among these that stand by הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 these

⁸ שְֽׁמַֽע־ H8085 Hear נָ֞א H4994 Now יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ ׀ H3091 now O Joshua הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֗וֹל H1419 the high אַתָּה֙ H859 you וְרֵעֶ֙יךָ֙ H7453 thou and thy fellows הַיֹּשְׁבִ֣ים H3427 that sit לְפָנֶ֔יךָ H6440 before כִּֽי־ H3588 indeed אַנְשֵׁ֥י H376 are men מוֹפֵ֖ת H4159 wondered at הֵ֑מָּה H1992 like כִּֽי־ H3588 indeed הִנְנִ֥י H2005 I am going מֵבִ֛יא H935 for behold I will bring forth אֶת־ H853 עַבְדִּ֖י H5650 my servant צֶֽמַח׃ H6780 the BRANCH

⁹ כִּ֣י ׀ H3588 For הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 behold הָאֶ֗בֶן H68 For behold the stone אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 i נָתַ֙תִּי֙ H5414 that I have laid לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 before יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 Joshua עַל־ H5921 and אֶ֥בֶן H68 stone אַחַ֖ת H259 upon one שִׁבְעָ֣ה H7651 seven עֵינָ֑יִם H5869 eyes הִנְנִ֧י H2005 behold מְפַתֵּ֣חַ H6605 behold I will engrave פִּתֻּחָ֗הּ H6603 the graving נְאֻם֙ H5002 thereof saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts וּמַשְׁתִּ֛י H4185 and I will remove אֶת־ H853 עֲוֹ֥ן H5771 the iniquity הָאָֽרֶץ־ H776 of that land הַהִ֖יא H1931 he בְּי֥וֹם H3117 day אֶחָֽד׃ H259 in one

¹⁰ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he נְאֻם֙ H5002 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts תִּקְרְא֖וּ H7121 shall ye call אִ֣ישׁ H376 every man לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ H7453 his neighbour אֶל־ H413 about תַּ֥חַת H8478 under גֶּ֖פֶן H1612 under the vine וְאֶל־ H413 and תַּ֥חַת H8478 under תְּאֵנָֽה׃ H8384 and under the fig tree

¹ וַיָּ֕שָׁב H7725 with me came again הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ H4397 And the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that talked בִּ֑י H0 וַיְעִירֵ֕נִי H5782 and waked כְּאִ֖ישׁ H376 me as a man אֲשֶׁר־ H834 who יֵע֥וֹר H5782 that is wakened מִשְּׁנָתֽוֹ׃ H8142 out of his sleep

² וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And said אֵלַ֔י H413 to me מָ֥ה H4100 What אַתָּ֖ה H859 I רֹאֶ֑ה H7200 unto me What seest <וַיֹּאמֶר כ> (וָאֹמַ֡ר H559 said ק) רָאִ֣יתִי ׀ H7200 I have looked וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 and behold מְנוֹרַת֩ H4501 and behold a candlestick זָהָ֨ב H2091 all gold כֻּלָּ֜הּ H3605 all וְגֻלָּ֣הּ H1543 bowl עַל־ H5921 on רֹאשָׁ֗הּ H7218 upon the top וְשִׁבְעָ֤ה H7651 of it and his seven נֵרֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ H5216 lamps עָלֶ֔יהָ H5921 on שִׁבְעָ֤ה H7651 thereon and seven וְשִׁבְעָה֙ H7651 to the seven מֽוּצָק֔וֹת H4166 pipes לַנֵּר֖וֹת H5216 lamps אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which עַל־ H5921 are on רֹאשָֽׁהּ׃ H7218 which upon the top

³ וּשְׁנַ֥יִם H8147 And two זֵיתִ֖ים H2132 olive trees עָלֶ֑יהָ H5921 and אֶחָד֙ H259 by it one מִימִ֣ין H3225 upon the right הַגֻּלָּ֔ה H1543 of the bowl וְאֶחָ֖ד H259 and the other עַל־ H5921 on שְׂמֹאלָֽהּ׃ H8040 upon the left

⁴ וָאַ֙עַן֙ H6030 So I answered וָֽאֹמַ֔ר H559 and spake אֶל־ H413 to הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ H4397 to the angel הַדֹּבֵ֥ר H1696 that talked בִּ֖י H0 לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 with me saying מָה־ H4100 What אֵ֖לֶּה H428 are these אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 master

⁵ וַ֠יַּעַן H6030 with me answered הַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ H4397 Then the angel הַדֹּבֵ֥ר H1696 that talked בִּי֙ H0 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 and said אֵלַ֔י H413 about הֲל֥וֹא H3808 No יָדַ֖עְתָּ H3045 unto me Knowest מָה־ H4100 what הֵ֣מָּה H1992 like אֵ֑לֶּה H428 these וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 thou not what these be? And I said לֹ֥א H3808 No אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 No my lord

⁶ וַיַּ֜עַן H6030 Then he answered וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 and spake אֵלַי֙ H413 about לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 unto me saying זֶ֚ה H2088 This דְּבַר־ H1697 This the word יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD אֶל־ H413 to זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל H2216 unto Zerubbabel לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying לֹ֤א H3808 nor בְחַ֙יִל֙ H2428 Not by might וְלֹ֣א H3808 nor בְכֹ֔חַ H3581 nor by power כִּ֣י H3588 for אִם־ H518 but בְּרוּחִ֔י H7307 but by my spirit אָמַ֖ר H559 saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

⁷ מִֽי־ H4310 What אַתָּ֧ה H859 you הַֽר־ H2022 hill הַגָּד֛וֹל H1419 Who thou O great לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 accept זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל H2216 Zerubbabel לְמִישֹׁ֑ר H4334 a plain וְהוֹצִיא֙ H3318 and he shall bring forth אֶת־ H853 הָאֶ֣בֶן H68 stone הָרֹאשָׁ֔ה H7222 the top תְּשֻׁא֕וֹת H8663 shoutings חֵ֥ן H2580 Grace חֵ֖ן H2580 grace לָֽהּ׃ H0 פ

⁸ וַיְהִ֥י H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 Moreover the word יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD אֵלַ֥י H413 to me לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 came unto me saying

⁹ יְדֵ֣י H3027 The hands זְרֻבָּבֶ֗ל H2216 of Zerubbabel יִסְּד֛וּ H3248 foundation הַבַּ֥יִת H1004 of this house הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 of this וְיָדָ֣יו H3027 his hands תְּבַצַּ֑עְנָה H1214 shall also finish וְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ H3045 it and thou shalt know כִּֽי־ H3588 that יְהוָ֥ה H3068 that the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts שְׁלָחַ֥נִי H7971 hath sent אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ H413 about

¹⁰ כִּ֣י H3588 For מִ֣י H4310 who בַז֮ H937 contempt לְי֣וֹם H3117 the day קְטַנּוֹת֒ H6996 of small וְשָׂמְח֗וּ H8055 will be glad וְרָא֞וּ H7200 and shall see אֶת־ H853 הָאֶ֧בֶן H68 stones הַבְּדִ֛יל H913 plummet בְּיַ֥ד H3027 in the hand זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל H2216 of Zerubbabel שִׁבְעָה־ H7651 those seven אֵ֑לֶּה H428 another עֵינֵ֣י H5869 they the eyes יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD הֵ֥מָּה H1992 which מְשׁוֹטְטִ֖ים H7751 which run to and fro בְּכָל־ H3605 throughout הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 through the whole earth

¹¹ וָאַ֖עַן H6030 Then answered וָאֹמַ֣ר H559 I and said אֵלָ֑יו H413 to him מַה־ H4100 What שְּׁנֵ֤י H8147 unto him What these two הַזֵּיתִים֙ H2132 olive trees הָאֵ֔לֶה H428 are these עַל־ H5921 on יְמִ֥ין H3225 upon the right הַמְּנוֹרָ֖ה H4501 of the candlestick וְעַל־ H5921 and upon שְׂמֹאולָֽהּ׃ H8040 and upon the left

¹² וָאַ֣עַן H6030 And I answered שֵׁנִ֔ית H8145 again וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 and said אֵלָ֑יו H413 to him מַה־ H4100 What שְׁתֵּ֞י H8147 unto him What two שִׁבֲּלֵ֣י H7641 branches הַזֵּיתִ֗ים H2132 olive אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 which בְּיַ֗ד H3027 which through שְׁנֵי֙ H8147 the two צַנְתְּר֣וֹת H6804 pipes הַזָּהָ֔ב H2091 golden הַֽמְרִיקִ֥ים H7324 empty מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 and הַזָּהָֽב׃ H2091 the golden

¹³ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And he answered אֵלַי֙ H413 about לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 me and said הֲל֥וֹא H3808 No יָדַ֖עְתָּ H3045 Knowest מָה־ H4100 what אֵ֑לֶּה H428 these וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 thou not what these ? And I said לֹ֥א H3808 No אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 No my lord

¹⁴ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Then said אֵ֖לֶּה H428 These שְׁנֵ֣י H8147 he These the two בְנֵֽי־ H1121 ones הַיִּצְהָ֑ר H3323 anointed הָעֹמְדִ֖ים H5975 that stand עַל־ H5921 by אֲד֥וֹן H113 by the Lord כָּל־ H3605 of the whole הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the whole earth

¹ וָאָשׁ֕וּב H7725 Then I turned וָאֶשָּׂ֥א H5375 and lifted up עֵינַ֖י H5869 mine eyes וָֽאֶרְאֶ֑ה H7200 and looked וְהִנֵּ֖ה H2009 and behold מְגִלָּ֥ה H4039 roll עָפָֽה׃ H5774 and behold a flying

² וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And he said אֵלַ֔י H413 to me מָ֥ה H4100 What אַתָּ֖ה H859 I רֹאֶ֑ה H7200 unto me What seest וָאֹמַ֗ר H559 thou? And I answered אֲנִ֤י H589 I רֹאֶה֙ H7200 I see מְגִלָּ֣ה H4039 roll עָפָ֔ה H5774 a flying אָרְכָּהּ֙ H753 the length עֶשְׂרִ֣ים H6242 thereof twenty בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה H520 cubits וְרָחְבָּ֖הּ H7341 and the breadth עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 thereof ten בָּאַמָּֽה׃ H520 cubits

³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 Then said אֵלַ֔י H413 about זֹ֚את H2063 likewise הָֽאָלָ֔ה H423 he unto me This the curse הַיּוֹצֵ֖את H3318 that goeth forth עַל־ H5921 over פְּנֵ֣י H6440 over the face כָל־ H3605 of the whole הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 of the whole earth כִּ֣י H3588 surely כָל־ H3605 everyone הַגֹּנֵ֗ב H1589 for every one that stealeth מִזֶּה֙ H2088 This כָּמ֣וֹהָ H3644 on this side according נִקָּ֔ה H5352 shall be cut off וְכָל־ H3605 and everyone הַנִּ֨שְׁבָּ֔ע H7650 to it and every one that sweareth מִזֶּ֖ה H2088 one כָּמ֥וֹהָ H3644 on that side according נִקָּֽה׃ H5352 shall be cut off

⁴ הוֹצֵאתִ֗יהָ H3318 I will bring it forth נְאֻם֙ H5002 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3069 God צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts וּבָ֙אָה֙ H935 and it shall enter אֶל־ H413 about בֵּ֣ית H1004 into the house הַגַּנָּ֔ב H1590 of the thief וְאֶל־ H413 and to בֵּ֛ית H1004 and into the house הַנִּשְׁבָּ֥ע H7650 of him that sweareth בִּשְׁמִ֖י H8034 by my name לַשָּׁ֑קֶר H8267 falsely וְלָ֙נֶה֙ H3885 and it shall remain בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 in the midst בֵּית֔וֹ H1004 of his house וְכִלַּ֖תּוּ H3615 and shall consume וְאֶת־ H854 for עֵצָ֥יו H6086 it with the timber וְאֶת־ H854 for אֲבָנָֽיו׃ H68 thereof and the stones

⁵ וַיֵּצֵ֕א H3318 with me went forth הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ H4397 Then the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that talked בִּ֑י H0 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 and said אֵלַ֔י H413 to me שָׂ֣א H5375 unto me Lift up נָ֤א H4994 now עֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ H5869 now thine eyes וּרְאֵ֔ה H7200 and see מָ֖ה H4100 what הַיּוֹצֵ֥את H3318 what this that goeth forth הַזֹּֽאת׃ H2063 I

⁶ וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 And I said מַה־ H4100 What הִ֑יא H1931 and he וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 What it? And he said זֹ֤את H2063 likewise הָֽאֵיפָה֙ H374 This an ephah הַיּוֹצֵ֔את H3318 that goeth forth וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 He said זֹ֥את H2063 likewise עֵינָ֖ם H5869 moreover This their resemblance בְּכָל־ H3605 all הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 through all the earth

⁷ וְהִנֵּ֛ה H2009 behold כִּכַּ֥ר H3603 a talent עֹפֶ֖רֶת H5777 of lead נִשֵּׂ֑את H5375 And behold there was lifted up וְזֹאת֙ H2063 is a אִשָּׁ֣ה H802 woman אַחַ֔ת H259 and this a יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת H3427 that sitteth בְּת֥וֹךְ H8432 in the midst הָאֵיפָֽה׃ H374 of the ephah

⁸ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 And he said זֹ֣את H2063 likewise הָרִשְׁעָ֔ה H7564 This wickedness וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ H7993 And he cast אֹתָ֖הּ H853 אֶל־ H413 into תּ֣וֹךְ H8432 it into the midst הָֽאֵיפָ֑ה H374 of the ephah וַיַּשְׁלֵ֛ךְ H7993 and he cast אֶת־ H853 אֶ֥בֶן H68 the weight הָעֹפֶ֖רֶת H5777 of lead אֶל־ H413 on פִּֽיהָ׃ H6310 upon the mouth ס

⁹ וָאֶשָּׂ֨א H5375 Then lifted I up עֵינַ֜י H5869 mine eyes וָאֵ֗רֶא H7200 and looked וְהִנֵּה֩ H2009 and there שְׁתַּ֨יִם H8147 two נָשִׁ֤ים H802 women יֽוֹצְאוֹת֙ H3318 and behold there came out וְר֣וּחַ H7307 and the wind בְּכַנְפֵיהֶ֔ם H3671 in their wings וְלָהֵ֥נָּה H2007 for they had כְנָפַ֖יִם H3671 wings כְּכַנְפֵ֣י H3671 like the wings הַחֲסִידָ֑ה H2624 of a stork וַתִּשֶּׂ֙אנָה֙ H5375 and they lifted up אֶת־ H853 הָ֣אֵיפָ֔ה H374 the ephah בֵּ֥ין H996 between הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 between the earth וּבֵ֥ין H996 between הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ H8064 and the heaven

¹⁰ וָאֹמַ֕ר H559 Then said אֶל־ H413 to הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ H4397 I to the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that talked בִּ֑י H0 אָ֛נָה H575 Where הֵ֥מָּה H1992 are they מֽוֹלִכ֖וֹת H1980 taking אֶת־ H853 הָאֵיפָֽה׃ H374 ephah

¹¹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And he said אֵלַ֔י H413 to me לִבְנֽוֹת־ H1129 unto me To build לָ֥הֿ H0 בַ֖יִת H1004 it an house בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 in the land שִׁנְעָ֑ר H8152 of Shinar וְהוּכַ֛ן H3559 and it shall be established וְהֻנִּ֥יחָה H3240 and set שָּׁ֖ם H8033 there עַל־ H5921 her own מְכֻנָתָֽהּ׃ H4369 there upon her own base ס

¹ וָאָשֻׁ֗ב H7725 And I turned וָאֶשָּׂ֤א H5375 and lifted up עֵינַי֙ H5869 mine eyes וָֽאֶרְאֶ֔ה H7200 and looked וְהִנֵּ֨ה H2009 and behold אַרְבַּ֤ע H702 four מַרְכָּבוֹת֙ H4818 chariots יֹֽצְא֔וֹת H3318 out מִבֵּ֖ין H996 between שְׁנֵ֣י H8147 from between two הֶֽהָרִ֑ים H2022 mountains וְהֶהָרִ֖ים H2022 and the mountains הָרֵ֥י H2022 mountains נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ H5178 of brass

² בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֥ה H4818 chariot הָרִֽאשֹׁנָ֖ה H7223 In the first סוּסִ֣ים H5483 horses אֲדֻמִּ֑ים H122 red וּבַמֶּרְכָּבָ֥ה H4818 chariot הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית H8145 and in the second סוּסִ֥ים H5483 horses שְׁחֹרִֽים׃ H7838 black

³ וּבַמֶּרְכָּבָ֥ה H4818 chariot הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית H7992 And in the third סוּסִ֣ים H5483 horses לְבָנִ֑ים H3836 white וּבַמֶּרְכָּבָה֙ H4818 chariot הָרְבִעִ֔ית H7243 and in the fourth סוּסִ֥ים H5483 horses בְּרֻדִּ֖ים H1261 grisled אֲמֻצִּֽים׃ H554 and bay

⁴ וָאַ֙עַן֙ H6030 Then I answered וָֽאֹמַ֔ר H559 and said אֶל־ H413 to הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ H4397 unto the angel הַדֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 that talked בִּ֑י H0 מָה־ H4100 What אֵ֖לֶּה H428 are these אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 master

⁵ וַיַּ֥עַן H6030 answered הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ H4397 And the angel וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 and said אֵלָ֑י H413 to me אֵ֗לֶּה H428 These אַרְבַּע֙ H702 unto me These the four רֻח֣וֹת H7307 spirits הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 of the heavens יוֹצְא֕וֹת H3318 which go forth מֵֽהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב H3320 from standing עַל־ H5921 before אֲד֥וֹן H113 before the Lord כָּל־ H3605 of all הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of all the earth

⁶ אֲשֶׁר־ H834 of which בָּ֞הּ H0 הַסּוּסִ֣ים H5483 horses הַשְּׁחֹרִ֗ים H7838 The black יֹֽצְאִים֙ H3318 which therein go forth אֶל־ H413 about אֶ֣רֶץ H776 country צָפ֔וֹן H6828 into the north וְהַלְּבָנִ֔ים H3836 and the white יָצְא֖וּ H3318 go forth אֶל־ H413 about אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם H310 after וְהַ֨בְּרֻדִּ֔ים H1261 them and the grisled יָצְא֖וּ H3318 go forth אֶל־ H413 about אֶ֥רֶץ H776 country הַתֵּימָֽן׃ H8486 toward the south

⁸ וַיַּזְעֵ֣ק H2199 Then cried אֹתִ֔י H854 to me וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 me and spake אֵלַ֖י H413 to me לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 unto me saying רְאֵ֗ה H7200 Behold הַיּֽוֹצְאִים֙ H3318 these that go אֶל־ H413 to אֶ֣רֶץ H776 country צָפ֔וֹן H6828 toward the north הֵנִ֥יחוּ H5117 have quieted אֶת־ H853 he upon רוּחִ֖י H7307 my spirit בְּאֶ֥רֶץ H776 country צָפֽוֹן׃ H6828 in the north ס

⁹ וַיְהִ֥י H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 And the word יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD אֵלַ֥י H413 to me לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 came unto me saying

¹⁰ לָק֙וֹחַ֙ H3947 Take מֵאֵ֣ת H853 הַגּוֹלָ֔ה H1473 of the captivity מֵחֶלְדַּ֕י H2469 of Heldai וּמֵאֵ֥ת H853 טוֹבִיָּ֖ה H2900 of Tobijah וּמֵאֵ֣ת H853 יְדַֽעְיָ֑ה H3048 and of Jedaiah וּבָאתָ֤ H935 which are come אַתָּה֙ H859 you בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 thou the same day הַה֔וּא H1931 the same וּבָ֗אתָ H935 and come בֵּ֚ית H1004 into the house יֹאשִׁיָּ֣ה H2977 of Josiah בֶן־ H1121 the son צְפַנְיָ֔ה H6846 of Zephaniah אֲשֶׁר־ H834 where בָּ֖אוּ H935 and go מִבָּבֶֽל׃ H894 from Babylon

¹¹ וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ H3947 Then take כֶֽסֶף־ H3701 silver וְזָהָ֖ב H2091 and gold וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ H6213 and make עֲטָר֑וֹת H5850 crowns וְשַׂמְתָּ֗ H7760 and set בְּרֹ֛אשׁ H7218 upon the head יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ H3091 of Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 the son יְהוֹצָדָ֖ק H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֥ן H3548 priest הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ H1419 the high

¹² וְאָמַרְתָּ֤ H559 And speak אֵלָיו֙ H413 about לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 unto him saying כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֛ר H559 Thus speaketh יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying הִנֵּה־ H2009 Behold אִ֞ישׁ H376 Behold the man צֶ֤מַח H6780 The BRANCH שְׁמוֹ֙ H8034 whose name וּמִתַּחְתָּ֣יו H8478 where יִצְמָ֔ח H6779 and he shall grow up וּבָנָ֖ה H1129 out of his place and he shall build אֶת־ H853 הֵיכַ֥ל H1964 the temple יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

¹³ וְ֠הוּא H1931 who יִבְנֶ֞ה H1129 Even he shall build אֶת־ H853 הֵיכַ֤ל H1964 the temple יְהוָה֙ H3068 of the LORD וְהֽוּא־ H1931 who יִשָּׂ֣א H5375 and he shall bear ה֔וֹד H1935 the glory וְיָשַׁ֥ב H3427 and shall sit וּמָשַׁ֖ל H4910 and rule עַל־ H5921 on כִּסְא֑וֹ H3678 upon his throne וְהָיָ֤ה H1961 will be a כֹהֵן֙ H3548 and he shall be a priest עַל־ H5921 on כִּסְא֔וֹ H3678 upon his throne וַעֲצַ֣ת H6098 and the counsel שָׁל֔וֹם H7965 of peace תִּהְיֶ֖ה H1961 become בֵּ֥ין H996 will be between שְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃ H8147 shall be between them both

¹⁴ וְהָעֲטָרֹ֗ת H5850 And the crowns תִּֽהְיֶה֙ H1961 will become לְחֵ֙לֶם֙ H2494 shall be to Helem וּלְטוֹבִיָּ֣ה H2900 and to Tobijah וְלִידַֽעְיָ֔ה H3048 and to Jedaiah וּלְחֵ֖ן H2581 and to Hen בֶּן־ H1121 the son צְפַנְיָ֑ה H6846 of Zephaniah לְזִכָּר֖וֹן H2146 for a memorial בְּהֵיכַ֥ל H1964 in the temple יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

¹⁵ וּרְחוֹקִ֣ים ׀ H7350 And they far off יָבֹ֗אוּ H935 shall come וּבָנוּ֙ H1129 and build בְּהֵיכַ֣ל H1964 in the temple יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם H3045 and ye shall know כִּֽי־ H3588 that יְהוָ֥ה H3068 that the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts שְׁלָחַ֣נִי H7971 hath sent אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם H413 to וְהָיָה֙ H1961 will take אִם־ H518 if שָׁמ֣וֹעַ H8085 me unto you And shall come to pass if ye will diligently תִּשְׁמְע֔וּן H8085 obey בְּק֖וֹל H6963 the voice יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ H430 your God ס

¹ וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 came בִּשְׁנַ֣ת H8141 year אַרְבַּ֔ע H702 And it came to pass in the fourth לְדָרְיָ֖וֶשׁ H1867 Darius הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 of king הָיָ֨ה H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 the word יְהוָ֜ה H3068 of the LORD אֶל־ H413 to זְכַרְיָ֗ה H2148 came unto Zechariah בְּאַרְבָּעָ֛ה H702 in the fourth לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ H2320 month הַתְּשִׁעִ֖י H8671 of the ninth בְּכִסְלֵֽו׃ H3691 in Chisleu

² וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ H7971 When they had sent בֵּֽית־ H0 אֵ֔ל H1008 Bethel שַׂר־ H0 אֶ֕צֶר H8272 Sherezer וְרֶ֥גֶם H0 מֶ֖לֶךְ H7278 and Regemmelech וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֑יו H582 and their men לְחַלּ֖וֹת H2470 to pray אֶת־ H853 פְּנֵ֥י H6440 before יְהוָֽה׃ H3069 God

³ לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 to speak אֶל־ H413 to הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 unto the priests אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 who לְבֵית־ H1004 which in the house יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts וְאֶל־ H413 and to הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים H5030 and to the prophets לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying הַֽאֶבְכֶּה֙ H1058 Should I weep בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ H2320 month הַחֲמִשִׁ֔י H2549 in the fifth הִנָּזֵ֕ר H5144 separating כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 who עָשִׂ֔יתִי H6213 myself as I have done זֶ֖ה H2088 these כַּמֶּ֥ה H4100 many שָׁנִֽים׃ H8141 whole age פ

⁴ וַיְהִ֛י H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 Then came the word יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts אֵלַ֥י H413 to me לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 unto me saying

⁵ אֱמֹר֙ H559 Speak אֶל־ H413 to כָּל־ H3605 all עַ֣ם H5971 unto all the people הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 of the land וְאֶל־ H413 and to הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים H3548 and to the priests לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying כִּֽי־ H3588 When צַמְתֶּ֨ם H6684 When ye fasted וְסָפ֜וֹד H5594 and mourned בַּחֲמִישִׁ֣י H2549 in the fifth וּבַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י H7637 and seventh וְזֶה֙ H2088 these שִׁבְעִ֣ים H7657 even those seventy שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 years הֲצ֥וֹם H6684 did ye at all צַמְתֻּ֖נִי H6684 fast אָֽנִי׃ H589 I

⁷ הֲל֣וֹא H3808 not אֶת־ H853 הַדְּבָרִ֗ים H1697 not the words אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which קָרָ֤א H7121 hath cried יְהוָה֙ H3068 which the LORD בְּיַד֙ H3027 by הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים H5030 prophets הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֔ים H7223 the former בִּהְי֤וֹת H1961 become יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 when Jerusalem יֹשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 was inhabited וּשְׁלֵוָ֔ה H7961 and in prosperity וְעָרֶ֖יהָ H5892 and the cities סְבִיבֹתֶ֑יהָ H5439 thereof round about her וְהַנֶּ֥גֶב H5045 the south וְהַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה H8219 and the foothills יֹשֵֽׁב׃ H3427 when inhabited פ

⁸ וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 And the word יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD אֶל־ H413 to זְכַרְיָ֖ה H2148 came unto Zechariah לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

⁹ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֛ר H559 Thus speaketh יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying מִשְׁפַּ֤ט H4941 judgment אֱמֶת֙ H571 true. שְׁפֹ֔טוּ H8199 Execute וְחֶ֣סֶד H2617 mercy וְרַֽחֲמִ֔ים H7356 and compassions עֲשׂ֖וּ H6213 and shew אִ֥ישׁ H376 every man אֶת־ H854 for אָחִֽיו׃ H251 to his brother

¹⁰ וְאַלְמָנָ֧ה H490 not the widow וְיָת֛וֹם H3490 nor the fatherless גֵּ֥ר H1616 the stranger וְעָנִ֖י H6041 nor the poor אַֽל־ H408 not תַּעֲשֹׁ֑קוּ H6231 And oppress וְרָעַת֙ H7451 evil אִ֣ישׁ H376 against אָחִ֔יו H251 his brother אַֽל־ H408 not תַּחְשְׁב֖וּ H2803 and let none of you imagine בִּלְבַבְכֶֽם׃ H3824 in your heart

¹¹ וַיְמָאֲנ֣וּ H3985 But they refused לְהַקְשִׁ֔יב H7181 to hearken וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ H5414 and turned כָתֵ֖ף H3802 the shoulder סֹרָ֑רֶת H5637 A stubborn וְאָזְנֵיהֶ֖ם H241 their ears הִכְבִּ֥ידוּ H3513 and stopped מִשְּׁמֽוֹעַ׃ H8085 that they should not hear

¹² וְלִבָּ֞ם H3820 their hearts שָׂ֣מוּ H7760 Yea they made שָׁמִ֗יר H8068 an adamant stone מִ֠שְּׁמוֹעַ H8085 lest they should hear אֶת־ H853 הַתּוֹרָ֤ה H8451 the law וְאֶת־ H853 הַדְּבָרִים֙ H1697 and the words אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which שָׁלַ֜ח H7971 hath sent יְהוָ֤ה H3068 which the LORD צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 of hosts בְּרוּח֔וֹ H7307 in his spirit בְּיַ֖ד H3027 by הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים H5030 prophets הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֑ים H7223 the former וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 came קֶ֣צֶף H7110 wrath גָּד֔וֹל H1419 therefore came a great מֵאֵ֖ת H853 יְהוָ֥ה H3068 from the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

¹³ וַיְהִ֥י H1961 become כַאֲשֶׁר־ H834 he קָרָ֖א H7121 Therefore it is come to pass as he cried וְלֹ֣א H3808 not שָׁמֵ֑עוּ H8085 and they would not hear כֵּ֤ן H3651 so יִקְרְאוּ֙ H7121 so they cried וְלֹ֣א H3808 not אֶשְׁמָ֔ע H8085 and I would not hear אָמַ֖ר H559 saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

¹⁴ וְאֵ֣סָעֲרֵ֗ם H5590 But I scattered them with a whirlwind עַ֤ל H5921 among כָּל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִם֙ H1471 among all the nations אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 whom לֹֽא־ H3808 have not יְדָע֔וּם H3045 whom they knew וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 not Thus the land נָשַׁ֣מָּה H8047 desolate אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם H310 after מֵֽעֹבֵ֖ר H5674 them that no man passed through וּמִשָּׁ֑ב H7725 nor returned וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 for they laid אֶֽרֶץ־ H776 land חֶמְדָּ֖ה H2532 the pleasant לְשַׁמָּֽה׃ H8074 was desolate פ

² כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts קִנֵּ֥אתִי H7065 I was jealous לְצִיּ֖וֹן H6726 for Zion קִנְאָ֣ה H7068 jealousy גְדוֹלָ֑ה H1419 with great וְחֵמָ֥ה H2534 fury גְדוֹלָ֖ה H1419 for her with great קִנֵּ֥אתִי H7065 and I was jealous לָֽהּ׃ H0

³ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD שַׁ֚בְתִּי H7725 I am returned אֶל־ H413 to צִיּ֔וֹן H6726 unto Zion וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י H7931 and will dwell בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 in the midst יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 of Jerusalem וְנִקְרְאָ֤ה H7121 shall be called יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 and Jerusalem עִ֣יר־ H5892 a city הָֽאֱמֶ֔ת H571 of truth וְהַר־ H2022 and the mountain יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts הַ֥ר H2022 mountain הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ H6944 the holy ס

⁴ כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts עֹ֤ד H5750 will again יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ H3427 dwell זְקֵנִ֣ים H2205 There shall yet old men וּזְקֵנ֔וֹת H2205 and old women בִּרְחֹב֖וֹת H7339 in the streets יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 of Jerusalem וְאִ֧ישׁ H376 and every man מִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹ H4938 with his staff בְּיָד֖וֹ H3027 in his hand מֵרֹ֥ב H7230 for very יָמִֽים׃ H3117 age

⁵ וּרְחֹב֤וֹת H7339 And the streets הָעִיר֙ H5892 of the city יִמָּ֣לְא֔וּ H4390 shall be full יְלָדִ֖ים H3206 of boys וִֽילָד֑וֹת H3207 and girls מְשַׂחֲקִ֖ים H7832 playing בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H7339 in the streets ס

⁶ כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3069 God צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts כִּ֣י H3588 If יִפָּלֵ֗א H6381 If it be marvellous בְּעֵינֵי֙ H5869 in the eyes שְׁאֵרִית֙ H7611 of the remnant הָעָ֣ם H5971 of this people הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 of this בַּיָּמִ֖ים H3117 in these days הָהֵ֑ם H1992 those גַּם־ H1571 also בְּעֵינַי֙ H5869 the sight יִפָּלֵ֔א H6381 should it also be marvellous נְאֻ֖ם H5002 said יְהוָ֥ה H3069 God צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts פ

⁷ כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֙ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts הִנְנִ֥י H2005 I am going מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ H3467 Behold I will save אֶת־ H853 עַמִּ֖י H5971 my people מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 country מִזְרָ֑ח H4217 from the east וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ H776 country מְב֥וֹא H3996 entry הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ H8121 east side

⁸ וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י H935 And I will bring אֹתָ֔ם H853 וְשָׁכְנ֖וּ H7931 them and they shall dwell בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 in the midst יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 of Jerusalem וְהָיוּ־ H1961 become לִ֣י H0 לְעָ֗ם H5971 and they shall be my people וַֽאֲנִי֙ H589 I אֶהְיֶ֤ה H1961 become לָהֶם֙ H0 לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים H430 and I will be their God בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת H571 in truth וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃ H6666 and in righteousness ס

⁹ כֹּֽה־ H3541 Thus אָמַר֮ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאוֹת֒ H6635 of hosts תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה H2388 be strong יְדֵיכֶ֔ם H3027 Let your hands הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙ H8085 ye that hear בַּיָּמִ֣ים H3117 in these days הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 these אֵ֖ת H853 הַדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 these words הָאֵ֑לֶּה H428 to these מִפִּי֙ H6310 by the mouth הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים H5030 of the prophets אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 who בְּי֞וֹם H3117 which in the day יֻסַּ֨ד H3245 was laid בֵּית־ H1004 of the house יְהוָ֧ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֛וֹת H6635 of hosts הַהֵיכָ֖ל H1964 that the temple לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ H1129 might be built

¹⁰ כִּ֗י H3588 For לִפְנֵי֙ H6440 For before הַיָּמִ֣ים H3117 these days הָהֵ֔ם H1992 those שְׂכַ֤ר H7939 no hire הָֽאָדָם֙ H120 for man לֹ֣א H3808 no נִֽהְיָ֔ה H1961 there was וּשְׂכַ֥ר H7939 nor any hire הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה H929 for beast אֵינֶ֑נָּה H369 there וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א H3318 to him that went out וְלַבָּ֤א H935 or came in אֵין־ H369 there שָׁלוֹם֙ H7965 neither peace מִן־ H4480 because הַצָּ֔ר H6862 because of the affliction וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח H7971 for I set אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הָאָדָ֖ם H120 all men אִ֥ישׁ H376 every one בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ H7453 against his neighbour

¹¹ וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 now לֹ֣א H3808 not כַיָּמִ֤ים H3117 days הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙ H7223 as in the former אֲנִ֔י H589 I לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית H7611 But now I not unto the residue הָעָ֣ם H5971 of this people הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 of this נְאֻ֖ם H5002 saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

¹² כִּֽי־ H3588 for זֶ֣רַע H2233 For the seed הַשָּׁל֗וֹם H7965 prosperous הַגֶּ֜פֶן H1612 the vine תִּתֵּ֤ן H5414 shall give פִּרְיָהּ֙ H6529 her fruit וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 and the ground תִּתֵּ֣ן H5414 shall give אֶת־ H853 יְבוּלָ֔הּ H2981 her increase וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם H8064 and the heavens יִתְּנ֣וּ H5414 shall give טַלָּ֑ם H2919 their dew וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י H5157 to possess אֶת־ H853 שְׁאֵרִ֛ית H7611 and I will cause the remnant הָעָ֥ם H5971 of this people הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 of this אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all אֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 these

¹³ וְהָיָ֡ה H1961 will come כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ H834 you הֱיִיתֶ֨ם H1961 may become קְלָלָ֜ה H7045 And it shall come to pass as ye were a curse בַּגּוֹיִ֗ם H1471 among the heathen בֵּ֤ית H1004 O house יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 of Judah וּבֵ֣ית H1004 and house יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 of Israel כֵּ֚ן H3651 so אוֹשִׁ֣יעַ H3467 so will I save אֶתְכֶ֔ם H853 וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם H1961 you may become בְּרָכָ֑ה H1293 you and ye shall be a blessing אַל־ H408 not תִּירָ֖אוּ H3372 fear תֶּחֱזַ֥קְנָה H2388 be strong יְדֵיכֶֽם׃ H3027 not let your hands ס

¹⁵ כֵּ֣ן H3651 so שַׁ֤בְתִּי H7725 So again זָמַ֙מְתִּי֙ H2161 have I thought בַּיָּמִ֣ים H3117 in these days הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 these לְהֵיטִ֥יב H3190 to do well אֶת־ H853 יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 unto Jerusalem וְאֶת־ H853 בֵּ֣ית H1004 and to the house יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 of Judah אַל־ H408 not תִּירָֽאוּ׃ H3372 fear

¹⁶ אֵ֥לֶּה H428 These הַדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 These the things אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ H6213 that ye shall do דַּבְּר֤וּ H1696 Speak אֱמֶת֙ H571 the truth אִ֣ישׁ H376 ye every man אֶת־ H854 for רֵעֵ֔הוּ H7453 to his neighbour אֱמֶת֙ H571 of truth וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט H4941 the judgment שָׁל֔וֹם H7965 and peace שִׁפְט֖וּ H8199 execute בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃ H8179 in your gates

¹⁷ וְאִ֣ישׁ ׀ H376 And let none אֶת־ H853 רָעַ֣ת H7451 evil רֵעֵ֗הוּ H7453 against his neighbour אַֽל־ H408 nay תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙ H2803 of you imagine בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם H3824 in your hearts וּשְׁבֻ֥עַת H7621 oath שֶׁ֖קֶר H8267 no false אַֽל־ H408 not תֶּאֱהָ֑בוּ H157 and love כִּ֧י H3588 for אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 for all אֵ֛לֶּה H428 these אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 are what שָׂנֵ֖אתִי H8130 for all these that I hate נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD ס

¹⁸ וַיְהִ֛י H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 And the word יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts אֵלַ֥י H413 to me לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 came unto me saying

¹⁹ כֹּֽה־ H3541 Thus אָמַ֞ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֗וֹת H6635 of hosts צ֣וֹם H6685 The fast הָרְבִיעִ֡י H7243 of the fourth וְצ֣וֹם H6685 and the fast הַחֲמִישִׁי֩ H2549 of the fifth וְצ֨וֹם H6685 and the fast הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י H7637 of the seventh וְצ֣וֹם H6685 and the fast הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י H6224 of the tenth יִהְיֶ֤ה H1961 will become לְבֵית־ H1004 shall be to the house יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 of Judah לְשָׂשׂ֣וֹן H8342 joy וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה H8057 and gladness וּֽלְמֹעֲדִ֖ים H4150 feasts טוֹבִ֑ים H2896 and cheerful וְהָאֱמֶ֥ת H571 the truth וְהַשָּׁל֖וֹם H7965 and peace אֱהָֽבוּ׃ H157 therefore love פ

²¹ וְֽהָלְכ֡וּ H1980 shall go יֹשְׁבֵי֩ H3427 And the inhabitants אַחַ֨ת H259 of one אֶל־ H413 to אַחַ֜ת H259 to another לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 saying נֵלְכָ֤ה H1980 speedily הָלוֹךְ֙ H1980 once לְחַלּוֹת֙ H2470 to pray אֶת־ H853 פְּנֵ֣י H6440 before יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ H1245 and to seek אֶת־ H853 יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts אֵלְכָ֖ה H1980 go גַּם־ H1571 will also אָֽנִי׃ H589 I

²² וּבָ֨אוּ H935 shall come עַמִּ֤ים H5971 people רַבִּים֙ H7227 Yea many וְגוֹיִ֣ם H1471 nations עֲצוּמִ֔ים H6099 and strong לְבַקֵּ֛שׁ H1245 to seek אֶת־ H853 יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 in Jerusalem וּלְחַלּ֖וֹת H2470 and to pray אֶת־ H853 פְּנֵ֥י H6440 before יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD ס

²³ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַר֮ H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאוֹת֒ H6635 of hosts בַּיָּמִ֣ים H3117 In those days הָהֵ֔מָּה H1992 those אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 after יַחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙ H2388 shall take hold עֲשָׂרָ֣ה H6235 that ten אֲנָשִׁ֔ים H376 men מִכֹּ֖ל H3605 all לְשֹׁנ֣וֹת H3956 out of all languages הַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 of the nations וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ H2388 even shall take hold בִּכְנַף֩ H3671 of the skirt אִ֨ישׁ H376 men יְהוּדִ֜י H3064 of a Jew לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 saying נֵֽלְכָה֙ H1980 go עִמָּכֶ֔ם H5973 with כִּ֥י H3588 for שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ H8085 with you for we have heard אֱלֹהִ֥ים H430 God עִמָּכֶֽם׃ H5973 with ס

¹ מַשָּׂ֤א H4853 The burden דְבַר־ H1697 of the word יְהוָה֙ H3068 of the LORD בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 in the land חַדְרָ֔ךְ H2317 of Hadrach וְדַמֶּ֖שֶׂק H1834 and Damascus מְנֻחָת֑וֹ H4496 the rest כִּ֤י H3588 for לַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 toward the LORD עֵ֣ין H5869 thereof when the eyes אָדָ֔ם H120 of man וְכֹ֖ל H3605 of all שִׁבְטֵ֥י H7626 as of all the tribes יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

² וְגַם־ H1571 also חֲמָ֖ת H2574 And Hamath תִּגְבָּל־ H1379 also shall border בָּ֑הּ H0 צֹ֣ר H6865 thereby Tyrus וְצִיד֔וֹן H6721 and Zidon כִּ֥י H3588 though חָֽכְמָ֖ה H2449 wise מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 though it be very

³ וַתִּ֥בֶן H1129 did build צֹ֛ר H6865 And Tyrus מָצ֖וֹר H4692 herself a strong hold לָ֑הּ H0 וַתִּצְבָּר־ H6651 and heaped up כֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 silver כֶּֽעָפָ֔ר H6083 as the dust וְחָר֖וּץ H2742 and fine gold כְּטִ֥יט H2916 as the mire חוּצֽוֹת׃ H2351 of the streets

⁴ הִנֵּ֤ה H2009 Behold אֲדֹנָי֙ H136 Behold the Lord יֽוֹרִשֶׁ֔נָּה H3423 will cast her out וְהִכָּ֥ה H5221 and he will smite בַיָּ֖ם H3220 in the sea חֵילָ֑הּ H2428 her power וְהִ֖יא H1931 he בָּאֵ֥שׁ H784 with fire תֵּאָכֵֽל׃ H398 and she shall be devoured

⁵ תֵּרֶ֨א H7200 shall see אַשְׁקְל֜וֹן H831 Ashkelon וְתִירָ֗א H3372 and fear וְעַזָּה֙ H5804 Gaza וְתָחִ֣יל H2342 sorrowful מְאֹ֔ד H3966 also and be very וְעֶקְר֖וֹן H6138 and Ekron כִּֽי־ H3588 for הֹבִ֣ישׁ H954 has been מֶבָּטָ֑הּ H4007 for her expectation וְאָ֤בַד H6 shall perish מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 and the king מֵֽעַזָּ֔ה H5804 from Gaza וְאַשְׁקְל֖וֹן H831 and Ashkelon לֹ֥א H3808 not תֵשֵֽׁב׃ H3427 shall not be inhabited

⁶ וְיָשַׁ֥ב H3427 shall dwell מַמְזֵ֖ר H4464 And a bastard בְּאַשְׁדּ֑וֹד H795 in Ashdod וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י H3772 and I will cut off גְּא֥וֹן H1347 the pride פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ H6430 of the Philistines

⁷ וַהֲסִרֹתִ֨י H5493 And I will take away דָמָ֜יו H1818 his blood מִפִּ֗יו H6310 out of his mouth וְשִׁקֻּצָיו֙ H8251 and his abominations מִבֵּ֣ין H996 between שִׁנָּ֔יו H8127 from between his teeth וְנִשְׁאַ֥ר H7604 but he that remaineth גַּם־ H1571 also ה֖וּא H1931 he לֵֽאלֹהֵ֑ינוּ H430 even he for our God וְהָיָה֙ H1961 and be like כְּאַלֻּ֣ף H441 and he shall be as a governor בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה H3063 in Judah וְעֶקְר֖וֹן H6138 and Ekron כִּיבוּסִֽי׃ H2983 as a Jebusite

⁸ וְחָנִ֨יתִי H2583 And I will encamp לְבֵיתִ֤י H1004 about mine house מִצָּבָה֙ H4675 because of the army מֵעֹבֵ֣ר H5674 because of him that passeth by וּמִשָּׁ֔ב H7725 and because of him that returneth וְלֹֽא־ H3808 and no יַעֲבֹ֧ר H5674 shall pass through עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם H5921 over ע֖וֹד H5750 anymore נֹגֵ֑שׂ H5065 and no oppressor כִּ֥י H3588 For עַתָּ֖ה H6258 now רָאִ֥יתִי H7200 them any more for now have I seen בְעֵינָֽי׃ H5869 with mine eyes ס

⁹ גִּילִ֨י H1523 Rejoice מְאֹ֜ד H3966 greatly בַּת־ H1323 O daughter צִיּ֗וֹן H6726 of Zion הָרִ֙יעִי֙ H7321 shout בַּ֣ת H1323 O daughter יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 of Jerusalem הִנֵּ֤ה H2009 Behold מַלְכֵּךְ֙ H4428 behold thy King יָ֣בוֹא H935 cometh לָ֔ךְ H0 צַדִּ֥יק H6662 unto thee he just וְנוֹשָׁ֖ע H3467 and having salvation ה֑וּא H1931 he עָנִי֙ H6041 lowly וְרֹכֵ֣ב H7392 and riding עַל־ H5921 on חֲמ֔וֹר H2543 upon an ass וְעַל־ H5921 on עַ֖יִר H5895 and upon a colt בֶּן־ H1121 the foal אֲתֹנֽוֹת׃ H860 of an ass

¹⁰ וְהִכְרַתִּי־ H3772 And I will cut off רֶ֣כֶב H7393 the chariot מֵאֶפְרַ֗יִם H669 from Ephraim וְסוּס֙ H5483 and the horse מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 from Jerusalem וְנִכְרְתָה֙ H3772 shall be cut off קֶ֣שֶׁת H7198 bow מִלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 and the battle וְדִבֶּ֥ר H1696 and he shall speak שָׁל֖וֹם H7965 peace לַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 unto the heathen וּמָשְׁלוֹ֙ H4915 and his dominion מִיָּ֣ם H3220 from sea עַד־ H5704 against יָ֔ם H3220 to sea וּמִנָּהָ֖ר H5104 and from the river עַד־ H5704 against אַפְסֵי־ H657 to the ends אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the earth

¹¹ גַּם־ H1571 also אַ֣תְּ H859 you בְּדַם־ H1818 As for thee also by the blood בְּרִיתֵ֗ךְ H1285 of thy covenant שִׁלַּ֤חְתִּי H7971 I have sent forth אֲסִירַ֙יִךְ֙ H615 thy prisoners מִבּ֔וֹר H953 out of the pit אֵ֥ין H369 wherein no מַ֖יִם H4325 wherein no water בּֽוֹ׃ H0

¹² שׁ֚וּבוּ H7725 Turn לְבִצָּר֔וֹן H1225 you to the strong hold אֲסִירֵ֖י H615 ye prisoners הַתִּקְוָ֑ה H8615 of hope גַּם־ H1571 very הַיּ֕וֹם H3117 even to day מַגִּ֥יד H5046 do I declare מִשְׁנֶ֖ה H4932 double אָשִׁ֥יב H7725 I will render לָֽךְ׃ H0

¹³ כִּֽי־ H3588 for דָרַ֨כְתִּי H1869 When I have bent לִ֜י H0 יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 Judah קֶ֚שֶׁת H7198 the bow מִלֵּ֣אתִי H4390 for me filled אֶפְרַ֔יִם H669 with Ephraim וְעוֹרַרְתִּ֤י H5782 and raised up בָנַ֙יִךְ֙ H1121 thy sons צִיּ֔וֹן H6726 O Zion עַל־ H5921 against בָּנַ֖יִךְ H1121 against thy sons יָוָ֑ן H3120 O Greece וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךְ H7760 and made כְּחֶ֥רֶב H2719 thee as the sword גִּבּֽוֹר׃ H1368 of a mighty man

¹⁴ וַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 And the LORD עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם H5921 over יֵֽרָאֶ֔ה H7200 shall be seen וְיָצָ֥א H3318 shall go forth כַבָּרָ֖ק H1300 as the lightning חִצּ֑וֹ H2671 over them and his arrow וַֽאדֹנָ֤י H136 and the Lord יְהֹוִה֙ H3069 GOD בַּשּׁוֹפָ֣ר H7782 the trumpet יִתְקָ֔ע H8628 shall blow וְהָלַ֖ךְ H1980 and shall go בְּסַעֲר֥וֹת H5591 with whirlwinds תֵּימָֽן׃ H8486 of the south

¹⁵ יְהוָ֣ה H3068 The LORD צְבָאוֹת֮ H6635 of hosts יָגֵ֣ן H1598 shall defend עֲלֵיהֶם֒ H5921 and they וְאָכְל֗וּ H398 them and they shall devour וְכָֽבְשׁוּ֙ H3533 and subdue אַבְנֵי־ H68 stones קֶ֔לַע H7050 with sling וְשָׁת֥וּ H8354 and they shall drink הָמ֖וּ H1993 make a noise כְּמוֹ־ H3644 with יָ֑יִן H3196 as through wine וּמָֽלְאוּ֙ H4390 and they shall be filled כַּמִּזְרָ֔ק H4219 like bowls כְּזָוִיּ֖וֹת H2106 as the corners מִזְבֵּֽחַ׃ H4196 of the altar

¹⁶ וְֽהוֹשִׁיעָ֞ם H3467 shall save יְהוָ֧ה H3068 And the LORD אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֛ם H430 their God בַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 them in that day הַה֖וּא H1931 he כְּצֹ֣אן H6629 as the flock עַמּ֑וֹ H5971 of his people כִּ֚י H3588 For אַבְנֵי־ H68 for they the stones נֵ֔זֶר H5145 of a crown מִֽתְנוֹסְס֖וֹת H5264 lifted up as an ensign עַל־ H5921 in אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ H127 upon his land

¹⁷ כִּ֥י H3588 For מַה־ H4100 what טּוּב֖וֹ H2898 For how great his goodness וּמַה־ H4100 what יָפְי֑וֹ H3308 and how great his beauty דָּגָן֙ H1715 corn בַּֽחוּרִ֔ים H970 shall make the young men וְתִיר֖וֹשׁ H8492 and new wine יְנוֹבֵ֥ב H5107 cheerful בְּתֻלֽוֹת׃ H1330 the maids

¹ שַׁאֲל֨וּ H7592 Ask מֵיְהוָ֤ה H3068 ye of the LORD מָטָר֙ H4306 rain בְּעֵ֣ת H6256 in the time מַלְק֔וֹשׁ H4456 of the latter rain יְהוָ֖ה H3068 the LORD עֹשֶׂ֣ה H6213 shall make חֲזִיזִ֑ים H2385 bright clouds וּמְטַר־ H4306 of rain גֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ H1653 them showers יִתֵּ֣ן H5414 and give לָהֶ֔ם H1992 like לְאִ֖ישׁ H376 to every one עֵ֥שֶׂב H6212 grass בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃ H7704 in the field

² כִּ֧י H3588 because הַתְּרָפִ֣ים H8655 For the idols דִּבְּרוּ־ H1696 have spoken אָ֗וֶן H205 vanity וְהַקּֽוֹסְמִים֙ H7080 and the diviners חָ֣זוּ H2372 have seen שֶׁ֔קֶר H8267 a lie וַֽחֲלֹמוֹת֙ H2472 dreams הַשָּׁ֣וא H7723 false. יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ H1696 and have told הֶ֖בֶל H1892 in vain יְנַֽחֵמ֑וּן H5162 they comfort עַל־ H5921 and כֵּן֙ H3651 after that נָסְע֣וּ H5265 therefore they went כְמוֹ־ H3644 like צֹ֔אן H6629 their way as a flock יַעֲנ֖וּ H6031 they were troubled כִּֽי־ H3588 because אֵ֥ין H369 there רֹעֶֽה׃ H7462 because no shepherd פ

³ עַל־ H5921 against הָֽרֹעִים֙ H7462 against the shepherds חָרָ֣ה H2734 was kindled אַפִּ֔י H639 Mine anger וְעַל־ H5921 against הָעַתּוּדִ֖ים H6260 the goats אֶפְק֑וֹד H6485 and I punished כִּֽי־ H3588 for פָקַד֩ H6485 hath visited יְהוָ֨ה H3068 for the LORD צְבָא֤וֹת H6635 of hosts אֶת־ H853 עֶדְרוֹ֙ H5739 his flock אֶת־ H853 בֵּ֣ית H1004 the house יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah וְשָׂ֣ם H7760 and hath made אוֹתָ֔ם H853 כְּס֥וּס H5483 horse הוֹד֖וֹ H1935 them as his goodly בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 in the battle

⁴ מִמֶּ֤נּוּ H4480 at פִנָּה֙ H6438 the corner מִמֶּ֣נּוּ H4480 them יָתֵ֔ד H3489 out of him the nail מִמֶּ֖נּוּ H4480 them קֶ֣שֶׁת H7198 bow מִלְחָמָ֑ה H4421 out of him the battle מִמֶּ֛נּוּ H4480 them יֵצֵ֥א H3318 Out of him came forth כָל־ H3605 every נוֹגֵ֖שׂ H5065 out of him every oppressor יַחְדָּֽו׃ H3162 together

⁵ וְהָי֨וּ H1961 will be as כְגִבֹּרִ֜ים H1368 And they shall be as mighty בּוֹסִ֨ים H947 which tread down בְּטִ֤יט H2916 in the mire חוּצוֹת֙ H2351 of the streets בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 in the battle וְנִ֨לְחֲמ֔וּ H3898 and they shall fight כִּ֥י H3588 for יְהוָ֖ה H3068 because the LORD עִמָּ֑ם H5973 with וְהֹבִ֖ישׁוּ H3001 shall be confounded רֹכְבֵ֥י H7392 with them and the riders סוּסִֽים׃ H5483 on horses

⁶ וְגִבַּרְתִּ֣י ׀ H1396 And I will strengthen אֶת־ H853 בֵּ֣ית H1004 the house יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 of Judah וְאֶת־ H853 בֵּ֤ית H1004 the house יוֹסֵף֙ H3130 of Joseph אוֹשִׁ֔יעַ H3467 and I will save וְהֽוֹשְׁבוֹתִים֙ H7725 will bring כִּ֣י H3588 Because רִֽחַמְתִּ֔ים H7355 them for I have mercy וְהָי֖וּ H1961 shall be as כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 upon them and they shall be as though לֹֽא־ H3808 had not זְנַחְתִּ֑ים H2186 I had not cast them off כִּ֗י H3588 Because אֲנִ֛י H589 I am יְהוָ֥ה H3068 for I the LORD אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם H430 their God וְאֶעֱנֵֽם׃ H6030 and will hear

⁷ וְהָי֤וּ H1961 will be like כְגִבּוֹר֙ H1368 shall be like a mighty אֶפְרַ֔יִם H669 And Ephraim וְשָׂמַ֥ח H8055 shall rejoice לִבָּ֖ם H3820 and their heart כְּמוֹ־ H3644 if יָ֑יִן H3196 as through wine וּבְנֵיהֶם֙ H1121 yea their children יִרְא֣וּ H7200 shall see וְשָׂמֵ֔חוּ H8056 glad יָגֵ֥ל H1523 shall rejoice לִבָּ֖ם H3820 their heart בַּיהוָֽה׃ H3068 in the LORD

⁸ אֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה H8319 I will hiss לָהֶ֛ם H0 וַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖ם H6908 for them and gather כִּ֣י H3588 for פְדִיתִ֑ים H6299 them for I have redeemed וְרָב֖וּ H7235 them and they shall increase כְּמ֥וֹ H3644 will be as רָבֽוּ׃ H7235 as they have increased

⁹ וְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ H2232 And I will sow בָּֽעַמִּ֔ים H5971 them among the people וּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖ים H4801 me in far countries יִזְכְּר֑וּנִי H2142 and they shall remember וְחָי֥וּ H2421 and they shall live אֶת־ H854 with בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם H1121 with their children וָשָֽׁבוּ׃ H7725 and turn again

⁴ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֖ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD אֱלֹהָ֑י H430 my God רְעֵ֖ה H7462 Feed אֶת־ H853 צֹ֥אן H6629 the flock הַהֲרֵגָֽה׃ H2028 of the slaughter

¹⁵ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 said יְהוָ֖ה H3068 And the LORD אֵלָ֑י H413 about ע֣וֹד H5750 again קַח־ H3947 unto me Take לְךָ֔ H0 כְּלִ֖י H3627 unto thee yet the instruments רֹעֶ֥ה H7462 shepherd אֱוִלִֽי׃ H196 of a foolish

¹⁶ כִּ֣י H3588 For הִנֵּֽה־ H2009 behold אָנֹכִי֩ H595 I מֵקִ֨ים H6965 For lo I will raise up רֹעֶ֜ה H7462 a shepherd בָּאָ֗רֶץ H776 in the land הַנִּכְחָד֤וֹת H3582 those that be cut off לֹֽא־ H3808 who will not יִפְקֹד֙ H6485 shall not visit הַנַּ֣עַר H5288 babe לֹֽא־ H3808 not יְבַקֵּ֔שׁ H1245 neither shall seek וְהַנִּשְׁבֶּ֖רֶת H7665 that that is broken לֹ֣א H3808 not יְרַפֵּ֑א H7495 nor heal הַנִּצָּבָה֙ H5324 that that standeth לֹ֣א H3808 or יְכַלְכֵּ֔ל H3557 nor feed וּבְשַׂ֤ר H1320 the flesh הַבְּרִיאָה֙ H1277 of the fat יֹאכַ֔ל H398 still but he shall eat וּפַרְסֵיהֶ֖ן H6541 their claws יְפָרֵֽק׃ H6561 in pieces ס

¹⁷ ה֣וֹי H1945 Woe רֹעִ֤י H7473 shepherd הָֽאֱלִיל֙ H457 to the idol עֹזְבִ֣י H5800 that leaveth הַצֹּ֔אן H6629 the flock חֶ֥רֶב H2719 the sword עַל־ H5921 will be on זְרוֹע֖וֹ H2220 upon his arm וְעַל־ H5921 and עֵ֣ין H5869 eye יְמִינ֑וֹ H3225 and upon his right זְרֹעוֹ֙ H2220 his arm יָב֣וֹשׁ H3001 shall be clean תִּיבָ֔שׁ H3001 dried up וְעֵ֥ין H5869 eye יְמִינ֖וֹ H3225 and his right כָּהֹ֥ה H3543 shall be utterly תִכְהֶֽה׃ H3543 darkened ס

² הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 Behold אָ֠נֹכִי H595 I שָׂ֣ם H7760 Behold I will make אֶת־ H853 יְרוּשָׁלִַ֧ם H3389 Jerusalem סַף־ H5592 a cup רַ֛עַל H7478 of trembling לְכָל־ H3605 to all הָעַמִּ֖ים H5971 unto all the people סָבִ֑יב H5439 round about וְגַ֧ם H1571 will also עַל־ H5921 is against יְהוּדָ֛ה H3063 both against Judah יִֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 become בַמָּצ֖וֹר H4692 when they shall be in the siege עַל־ H5921 be against יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 against Jerusalem

³ וְהָיָ֣ה H1961 will come בַיּוֹם־ H3117 And in that day הַ֠הוּא H1931 I אָשִׂ֨ים H7760 will I make אֶת־ H853 יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם H3389 Jerusalem אֶ֤בֶן H68 stone מַֽעֲמָסָה֙ H4614 a burdensome לְכָל־ H3605 for all הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים H5971 for all people כָּל־ H3605 all עֹמְסֶ֖יהָ H6006 all that burden שָׂר֣וֹט H8295 will be severely יִשָּׂרֵ֑טוּ H8295 injured וְנֶאֶסְפ֣וּ H622 be gathered together עָלֶ֔יהָ H5921 against כֹּ֖ל H3605 and all גּוֹיֵ֥י H1471 though all the people הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the earth

⁴ בַּיּ֨וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֜וּא H1931 he נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֗ה H3068 the LORD אַכֶּ֤ה H5221 I will smite כָל־ H3605 every סוּס֙ H5483 every horse בַּתִּמָּה֔וֹן H8541 with astonishment וְרֹכְב֖וֹ H7392 and his rider בַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹן H7697 with madness וְעַל־ H5921 over בֵּ֤ית H1004 upon the house יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 of Judah אֶפְקַ֣ח H6491 and I will open אֶת־ H853 עֵינַ֔י H5869 mine eyes וְכֹל֙ H3605 every ס֣וּס H5483 every horse הָֽעַמִּ֔ים H5971 of the people אַכֶּ֖ה H5221 and will smite בַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן׃ H5788 with blindness

⁵ וְאָֽמְר֛וּ H559 shall say אַלֻּפֵ֥י H441 And the governors יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah בְּלִבָּ֑ם H3820 in their heart אַמְצָ֥ה H556 my strength לִי֙ H0 יֹשְׁבֵ֣י H3427 The inhabitants יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 of Jerusalem בַּיהוָ֥ה H3068 in the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ H430 their God

⁶ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֡וּא H1931 I אָשִׂים֩ H7760 will I make אֶת־ H853 אַלֻּפֵ֨י H441 the governors יְהוּדָ֜ה H3063 of Judah כְּֽכִיּ֧וֹר H3595 like an hearth אֵ֣שׁ H784 of fire בְּעֵצִ֗ים H6086 among the wood וּכְלַפִּ֥יד H3940 and like a torch אֵשׁ֙ H784 of fire בְּעָמִ֔יר H5995 in a sheaf וְאָ֨כְל֜וּ H398 and they shall devour עַל־ H5921 on יָמִ֧ין H3225 on the right hand וְעַל־ H5921 and on שְׂמֹ֛אול H8040 and on the left אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הָעַמִּ֖ים H5971 all the people סָבִ֑יב H5439 round about וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה H3427 shall be inhabited יְרוּשָׁלִַ֥ם H3389 and Jerusalem ע֛וֹד H5750 again תַּחְתֶּ֖יהָ H8478 sites בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 again in her own place in Jerusalem פ

⁷ וְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ H3467 also shall save יְהוָ֛ה H3068 The LORD אֶת־ H853 אָהֳלֵ֥י H168 the tents יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah בָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֑ה H7223 first לְמַ֨עַן H4616 so לֹֽא־ H3808 not תִגְדַּ֜ל H1431 do not magnify תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת H8597 that the glory בֵּית־ H1004 of the house דָּוִ֗יד H1732 of David וְתִפְאֶ֛רֶת H8597 and the glory יֹשֵׁ֥ב H3427 of the inhabitants יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 of Jerusalem עַל־ H5921 above יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 against Judah

⁸ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יָגֵ֤ן H1598 defend יְהוָה֙ H3068 shall the LORD בְּעַד֙ H1157 about יוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 the inhabitants יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 of Jerusalem וְהָיָ֞ה H1961 become הַנִּכְשָׁ֥ל H3782 and he that is feeble בָּהֶ֛ם H0 בַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 among them at that day הַה֖וּא H1931 he כְּדָוִ֑יד H1732 shall be as David וּבֵ֤ית H1004 and the house דָּוִיד֙ H1732 of David כֵּֽאלֹהִ֔ים H430 as God כְּמַלְאַ֥ךְ H4397 as the angel יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ H6440 before

⁹ וְהָיָ֖ה H1961 become בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֑וּא H1931 I אֲבַקֵּ֗שׁ H1245 I will seek לְהַשְׁמִיד֙ H8045 to destroy אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 all the nations הַבָּאִ֖ים H935 that come עַל־ H5921 against יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 against Jerusalem

¹⁰ וְשָׁפַכְתִּי֩ H8210 And I will pour עַל־ H5921 over בֵּ֨ית H1004 upon the house דָּוִ֜יד H1732 of David וְעַ֣ל ׀ H5921 over יוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 and upon the inhabitants יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם H3389 of Jerusalem ר֤וּחַ H7307 the spirit חֵן֙ H2580 of grace וְתַ֣חֲנוּנִ֔ים H8469 and of supplications וְהִבִּ֥יטוּ H5027 and they shall look אֵלַ֖י H413 about אֵ֣ת H853 אֲשֶׁר־ H834 whom דָּקָ֑רוּ H1856 upon me whom they have pierced וְסָפְד֣וּ H5594 for him as one mourneth עָלָ֗יו H5921 over כְּמִסְפֵּד֙ H5594 mourns עַל־ H5921 over הַיָּחִ֔יד H3173 for only וְהָמֵ֥ר H4843 and shall be in bitterness עָלָ֖יו H5921 over כְּהָמֵ֥ר H4843 for him as one that is in bitterness עַֽל־ H5921 over הַבְּכֽוֹר׃ H1060 for firstborn

¹¹ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יִגְדַּ֤ל H1431 shall there be a great הַמִּסְפֵּד֙ H4553 mourning בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 in Jerusalem כְּמִסְפַּ֥ד H4553 as the mourning הֲדַדְ־ H0 רִמּ֖וֹן H1910 of Hadadrimmon בְּבִקְעַ֥ת H1237 in the valley מְגִדּֽוֹן׃ H4023 of Megiddon

² וְהָיָה֩ H1961 will come בַיּ֨וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֜וּא H1931 he נְאֻ֣ם ׀ H5002 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֗וֹת H6635 of hosts אַכְרִ֞ית H3772 I will cut off אֶת־ H853 שְׁמ֤וֹת H8034 the names הָֽעֲצַבִּים֙ H6091 of the idols מִן־ H4480 from הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 out of the land וְלֹ֥א H3808 will no יִזָּכְר֖וּ H2142 and they shall no more be remembered ע֑וֹד H5750 longer וְגַ֧ם H1571 will also אֶת־ H853 הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים H5030 and also I will cause the prophets וְאֶת־ H853 ר֥וּחַ H7307 spirit הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה H2932 and the unclean אַעֲבִ֥יר H5674 to pass מִן־ H4480 from הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 out of the land

³ וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 become כִּֽי־ H3588 and if יִנָּבֵ֣א H5012 shall yet prophesy אִישׁ֮ H376 And it shall come to pass when any עוֹד֒ H5750 still וְאָמְר֣וּ H559 him shall say אֵ֠לָיו H413 then אָבִ֨יו H1 then his father וְאִמּ֤וֹ H517 and his mother יֹֽלְדָיו֙ H3205 that begat לֹ֣א H3808 shall not תִֽחְיֶ֔ה H2421 unto him Thou shalt not live כִּ֛י H3588 and if שֶׁ֥קֶר H8267 lies דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ H1696 for thou speakest בְּשֵׁ֣ם H8034 in the name יְהוָ֑ה H3068 of the LORD וּדְקָרֻ֜הוּ H1856 him shall thrust אָבִ֧יהוּ H1 and his father וְאִמּ֛וֹ H517 and his mother יֹלְדָ֖יו H3205 that begat בְּהִנָּבְאֽוֹ׃ H5012 him through when he prophesieth

⁴ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ H1961 will come בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יֵבֹ֧שׁוּ H954 shall be ashamed הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים H5030 the prophets אִ֥ישׁ H376 every one מֵחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹ H2384 of his vision בְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹ H5012 when he hath prophesied וְלֹ֧א H3808 and they will not יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ H3847 neither shall they wear אַדֶּ֥רֶת H155 garment שֵׂעָ֖ר H8181 a rough לְמַ֥עַן H4616 order כַּחֵֽשׁ׃ H3584 to deceive

⁵ וְאָמַ֕ר H559 But he shall say לֹ֥א H3808 I am not נָבִ֖יא H5030 I no prophet אָנֹ֑כִי H595 I אִישׁ־ H376 he עֹבֵ֤ד H5647 serve אֲדָמָה֙ H127 of the ground אָנֹ֔כִי H595 I כִּ֥י H3588 for אָדָ֖ם H120 for man הִקְנַ֥נִי H7069 taught me to keep cattle מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃ H5271 from my youth

⁶ וְאָמַ֣ר H559 And shall say אֵלָ֔יו H413 to him מָ֧ה H4100 What הַמַּכּ֛וֹת H4347 unto him What these wounds הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 are these בֵּ֣ין H996 between יָדֶ֑יךָ H3027 and one וְאָמַ֕ר H559 will say אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which הֻכֵּ֖יתִי H5221 with which I was wounded בֵּ֥ית H1004 the house מְאַהֲבָֽי׃ H157 of my friends ס

⁷ חֶ֗רֶב H2719 O sword עוּרִ֤י H5782 Awake עַל־ H5921 against רֹעִי֙ H7473 shipherd וְעַל־ H5921 and against גֶּ֣בֶר H1397 and against the man עֲמִיתִ֔י H5997 my fellow נְאֻ֖ם H5002 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3069 God צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts הַ֤ךְ H5221 smite אֶת־ H853 הָֽרֹעֶה֙ H7462 against my shepherd וּתְפוּצֶ֣יןָ H6327 shall be scattered הַצֹּ֔אן H6629 and the sheep וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י H7725 and I will turn יָדִ֖י H3027 mine hand עַל־ H5921 against הַצֹּעֲרִֽים׃ H6819 upon the little ones

⁸ וְהָיָ֤ה H1961 will come בְכָל־ H3605 all הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 And it shall come to pass in all the land נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD פִּֽי־ H6310 parts שְׁנַ֣יִם H8147 two בָּ֔הּ H0 יִכָּרְת֖וּ H3772 therein shall be cut off יִגְוָ֑עוּ H1478 die וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית H7992 but the third יִוָּ֥תֶר H3498 shall be left בָּֽהּ׃ H0

¹ הִנֵּ֥ה H2009 Behold יֽוֹם־ H3117 Behold the day בָּ֖א H935 cometh לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 of the LORD וְחֻלַּ֥ק H2505 shall be divided שְׁלָלֵ֖ךְ H7998 and thy spoil בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃ H7130 in the midst

² וְאָסַפְתִּ֨י H622 For I will gather אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִ֥ם ׀ H1471 all nations אֶֽל־ H413 against יְרוּשָׁלִַם֮ H3389 against Jerusalem לַמִּלְחָמָה֒ H4421 to battle וְנִלְכְּדָ֣ה H3920 shall be taken הָעִ֗יר H5892 and the city וְנָשַׁ֙סּוּ֙ H8155 rifled הַבָּ֣תִּ֔ים H1004 and the houses וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים H802 and the women <תִּשָּׁגַלְנָה כ> (תִּשָּׁכַ֑בְנָה H7693 lie with ק) וְיָצָ֞א H3318 shall go forth חֲצִ֤י H2677 and half הָעִיר֙ H5892 of the city בַּגּוֹלָ֔ה H1473 into captivity וְיֶ֣תֶר H3499 and the residue הָעָ֔ם H5971 of the people לֹ֥א H3808 not יִכָּרֵ֖ת H3772 shall not be cut off מִן־ H4480 from הָעִֽיר׃ H5892 from the city

³ וְיָצָ֣א H3318 go forth יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God וְנִלְחַ֖ם H3898 and fight בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 against those nations הָהֵ֑ם H1992 those כְּי֥וֹם H3117 as when הִֽלָּחֲמ֖וֹ H3898 he fought בְּי֥וֹם H3117 in the day קְרָֽב׃ H7128 of battle

⁴ וְעָמְד֣וּ H5975 shall stand רַגְלָ֣יו H7272 And his feet בַּיּוֹם־ H3117 in that day הַ֠הוּא H1931 he עַל־ H5921 on הַ֨ר H2022 upon the mount הַזֵּתִ֜ים H2132 of Olives אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which עַל־ H5921 is in פְּנֵ֥י H6440 which before יְרוּשָׁלִַם֮ H3389 Jerusalem מִקֶּדֶם֒ H6924 on the east וְנִבְקַע֩ H1234 shall cleave הַ֨ר H2022 and the mount הַזֵּיתִ֤ים H2132 of Olives מֵֽחֶצְיוֹ֙ H2677 in the midst מִזְרָ֣חָה H4217 thereof toward the east וָיָ֔מָּה H3220 and toward the west גֵּ֖יא H1516 valley גְּדוֹלָ֣ה H1419 great מְאֹ֑ד H3966 a very וּמָ֨שׁ H4185 shall remove חֲצִ֥י H2677 and half הָהָ֛ר H2022 of the mountain צָפ֖וֹנָה H6828 toward the north וְחֶצְיוֹ־ H2677 and half נֶֽגְבָּה׃ H5045 of it toward the south

⁵ וְנַסְתֶּ֣ם H5127 And ye shall flee גֵּֽיא־ H1516 the valley הָרַ֗י H2022 of the mountains כִּֽי־ H3588 for יַגִּ֣יעַ H5060 shall reach גֵּי־ H1516 for the valley הָרִים֮ H2022 of the mountains אֶל־ H413 to אָצַל֒ H682 unto Azal וְנַסְתֶּ֗ם H5127 yea ye shall flee כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 you נַסְתֶּם֙ H5127 like as ye fled מִפְּנֵ֣י H6440 from before הָרַ֔עַשׁ H7494 the earthquake בִּימֵ֖י H3117 in the days עֻזִּיָּ֣ה H5818 of Uzziah מֶֽלֶךְ־ H4428 king יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 of Judah וּבָא֙ H935 shall come יְהוָ֣ה H3068 and the LORD אֱלֹהַ֔י H430 my God כָּל־ H3605 all קְדֹשִׁ֖ים H6918 all the saints עִמָּֽךְ׃ H5973 with

⁶ וְהָיָ֖ה H1961 become בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֑וּא H1931 he לֹֽא־ H3808 will be no יִהְיֶ֣ה H1961 become א֔וֹר H216 the light יְקָר֖וֹת H3368 shall not be clear <יִקְפְּאוּן כ> (וְקִפָּאֹֽון׃ H7087 congeal ק)

⁷ וְהָיָ֣ה H1961 will come יוֹם־ H3117 day אֶחָ֗ד H259 But it shall be one ה֛וּא H1931 which יִוָּדַ֥ע H3045 which shall be known לַֽיהוָ֖ה H3068 to the LORD לֹא־ H3808 neither י֣וֹם H3117 not day וְלֹא־ H3808 nor לָ֑יְלָה H3915 nor night וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 will come לְעֵֽת־ H6256 time עֶ֖רֶב H6153 but it shall come to pass at evening יִֽהְיֶה־ H1961 will come אֽוֹר׃ H216 it shall be light

⁸ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ H1961 become בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall be in that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יֵצְא֤וּ H3318 shall go out מַֽיִם־ H4325 waters חַיִּים֙ H2416 living מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 from Jerusalem חֶצְיָ֗ם H2677 half אֶל־ H413 toward הַיָּם֙ H3220 sea הַקַּדְמוֹנִ֔י H6931 of them toward the former וְחֶצְיָ֖ם H2677 and half אֶל־ H413 toward הַיָּ֣ם H3220 sea הָאַחֲר֑וֹן H314 of them toward the hinder בַּקַּ֥יִץ H7019 in summer וּבָחֹ֖רֶף H2779 and in winter יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ H1961 become

⁹ וְהָיָ֧ה H1961 become יְהוָ֛ה H3068 And the LORD לְמֶ֖לֶךְ H4428 shall be king עַל־ H5921 over כָּל־ H3605 all הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 over all the earth בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 in that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יִהְיֶ֧ה H1961 become יְהוָ֛ה H3068 LORD אֶחָ֖ד H259 shall there be one וּשְׁמ֥וֹ H8034 and his name אֶחָֽד׃ H259 one

¹⁰ יִסּ֨וֹב H5437 shall be turned כָּל־ H3605 All הָאָ֤רֶץ H776 All the land כָּעֲרָבָה֙ H6160 as a plain מִגֶּ֣בַע H1387 from Geba לְרִמּ֔וֹן H7417 to Rimmon נֶ֖גֶב H5045 south יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 of Jerusalem וְֽרָאֲמָה֩ H7213 and it shall be lifted up וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה H3427 and inhabited תַחְתֶּ֜יהָ H8478 site לְמִשַּׁ֣עַר H8179 gate בִּנְיָמִ֗ן H1144 in her place from Benjamin's עַד־ H5704 far מְק֞וֹם H4725 unto the place שַׁ֤עַר H8179 gate הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ H7223 of the first עַד־ H5704 far שַׁ֣עַר H8179 gate הַפִּנִּ֔ים H6434 unto the corner וּמִגְדַּ֣ל H4026 and the tower חֲנַנְאֵ֔ל H2606 of Hananeel עַ֖ד H5704 far יִקְבֵ֥י H3342 winepresses הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 unto the king's

¹¹ וְיָ֣שְׁבוּ H3427 And shall dwell בָ֔הּ H0 וְחֵ֖רֶם H2764 in it and there shall be no more utter destruction לֹ֣א H3808 will no יִֽהְיֶה־ H1961 become ע֑וֹד H5750 longer וְיָשְׁבָ֥ה H3427 inhabited יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 but Jerusalem לָבֶֽטַח׃ H983 shall be safely

¹² וְזֹ֣את ׀ H2063 likewise תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 become הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה H4046 And this shall be the plague אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which יִגֹּ֤ף H5062 will smite יְהוָה֙ H3068 wherewith the LORD אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים H5971 all the people אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 who צָבְא֖וּ H6633 that have fought עַל־ H5921 against יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 against Jerusalem הָמֵ֣ק ׀ H4743 shall consume away בְּשָׂר֗וֹ H1320 Their flesh וְהוּא֙ H1931 they עֹמֵ֣ד H5975 while they stand עַל־ H5921 against רַגְלָ֔יו H7272 upon their feet וְעֵינָיו֙ H5869 and their eyes תִּמַּ֣קְנָה H4743 shall consume away בְחֹֽרֵיהֶ֔ן H2356 in their holes וּלְשׁוֹנ֖וֹ H3956 and their tongue תִּמַּ֥ק H4743 shall consume away בְּפִיהֶֽם׃ H6310 in their mouth

¹³ וְהָיָה֙ H1961 will come בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֔וּא H1931 he תִּֽהְיֶ֧ה H1961 will fall מְהֽוּמַת־ H4103 tumult יְהוָ֛ה H3068 from the LORD רַבָּ֖ה H7227 a great בָּהֶ֑ם H0 וְהֶחֱזִ֗יקוּ H2388 shall be among them and they shall lay hold אִ֚ישׁ H376 every one יַ֣ד H3027 on the hand רֵעֵ֔הוּ H7453 of his neighbour וְעָלְתָ֥ה H5927 shall rise up יָד֖וֹ H3027 and his hand עַל־ H5921 against יַ֥ד H3027 against the hand רֵעֵֽהוּ׃ H7453 of his neighbour

¹⁴ וְגַ֨ם־ H1571 also יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 And Judah תִּלָּחֵ֖ם H3898 also shall fight בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 at Jerusalem וְאֻסַּף֩ H622 shall be gathered together חֵ֨יל H2428 and the wealth כָּל־ H3605 of all הַגּוֹיִ֜ם H1471 of all the heathen סָבִ֗יב H5439 round about זָהָ֥ב H2091 gold וָכֶ֛סֶף H3701 and silver וּבְגָדִ֖ים H899 and apparel לָרֹ֥ב H7230 abundance מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 in great

¹⁵ וְכֵ֨ן H3651 So תִּֽהְיֶ֜ה H1961 become מַגֵּפַ֣ת H4046 And so shall be the plague הַסּ֗וּס H5483 of the horse הַפֶּ֙רֶד֙ H6505 of the mule הַגָּמָ֣ל H1581 of the camel וְהַחֲמ֔וֹר H2543 and of the ass וְכָ֨ל־ H3605 and all הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה H929 and of all the beasts אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 after יִהְיֶ֖ה H1961 become בַּמַּחֲנ֣וֹת H4264 tents הָהֵ֑מָּה H1992 that shall be in these כַּמַּגֵּפָ֖ה H4046 as this plague הַזֹּֽאת׃ H2063 it

¹⁶ וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 will come כָּל־ H3605 any הַנּוֹתָר֙ H3498 And it shall come to pass every one that is left מִכָּל־ H3605 of all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 of all the nations הַבָּאִ֖ים H935 which came עַל־ H5921 against יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 against Jerusalem וְעָל֞וּ H5927 shall even go up מִדֵּ֧י H1767 from שָׁנָ֣ה H8141 year בְשָׁנָ֗ה H8141 to year לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֹת֙ H7812 to worship לְמֶ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 the King יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts וְלָחֹ֖ג H2287 and to keep אֶת־ H853 חַ֥ג H2282 the feast הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃ H5521 of tabernacles

¹⁷ וְ֠הָיָה H1961 will be that אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 whichever לֹֽא־ H3808 will be no יַעֲלֶ֜ה H5927 And it shall be whoso will not come up מֵאֵ֨ת H853 מִשְׁפְּח֤וֹת H4940 of the families הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 of the earth אֶל־ H413 to יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 unto Jerusalem לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֔ת H7812 to worship לְמֶ֖לֶךְ H4428 the King יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts וְלֹ֥א H3808 will be no עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 and יִהְיֶ֥ה H1961 become הַגָּֽשֶׁם׃ H1653 even upon them shall be no rain

¹⁸ וְאִם־ H518 If מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת H4940 And if the family מִצְרַ֧יִם H4714 of Egypt לֹֽא־ H3808 no תַעֲלֶ֛ה H5927 go not up וְלֹ֥א H3808 no בָאָ֖ה H935 and come וְלֹ֣א H3808 no עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם H5921 and תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 become הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה H4046 not that no there shall be the plague אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which יִגֹּ֤ף H5062 will smite יְהוָה֙ H3068 wherewith the LORD אֶת־ H853 הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 the heathen אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 who לֹ֣א H3808 no יַֽעֲל֔וּ H5927 that come not up לָחֹ֖ג H2287 to keep אֶת־ H853 חַ֥ג H2282 the feast הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃ H5521 of tabernacles

¹⁹ זֹ֥את H2063 likewise תִּהְיֶ֖ה H1961 become חַטַּ֣את H2403 This shall be the punishment מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 of Egypt וְחַטַּאת֙ H2403 and the punishment כָּל־ H3605 of all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 of all nations אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 who לֹ֣א H3808 not יַֽעֲל֔וּ H5927 that come not up לָחֹ֖ג H2287 to keep אֶת־ H853 חַ֥ג H2282 the feast הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃ H5521 of tabernacles

²⁰ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he יִֽהְיֶה֙ H1961 become עַל־ H5921 and מְצִלּ֣וֹת H4698 shall there be upon the bells הַסּ֔וּס H5483 of the horses קֹ֖דֶשׁ H6944 HOLINESS לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 UNTO THE LORD וְהָיָ֤ה H1961 become הַסִּירוֹת֙ H5518 and the pots בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 house יְהוָ֔ה H3068 in the LORD'S כַּמִּזְרָקִ֖ים H4219 shall be like the bowls לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 before הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ H4196 the altar

²¹ וְ֠הָיָה H1961 become כָּל־ H3605 Every סִ֨יר H5518 Yea every pot בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֜ם H3389 in Jerusalem וּבִֽיהוּדָ֗ה H3063 and in Judah קֹ֚דֶשׁ H6944 shall be holiness לַיהוָ֣ה H3068 unto the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts וּבָ֙אוּ֙ H935 shall come כָּל־ H3605 and all הַזֹּ֣בְחִ֔ים H2076 and all they that sacrifice וְלָקְח֥וּ H3947 and take מֵהֶ֖ם H1992 of them וּבִשְּׁל֣וּ H1310 of them and seethe בָהֶ֑ם H0 וְלֹא־ H3808 will no יִהְיֶ֨ה H1961 be a כְנַעֲנִ֥י H3669 there shall be no more the Canaanite ע֛וֹד H5750 longer בְּבֵית־ H1004 in the house יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts בַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 therein and in that day הַהֽוּא׃ H1931 he
