¹ בִּשְׁנַ֤ת H8141 year שְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ H8147 In the second לְדָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ H1867 of Darius הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 the king בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ H2320 month הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י H8345 in the sixth בְּי֥וֹם H3117 day אֶחָ֖ד H259 in the first לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ H2320 of the month הָיָ֨ה H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 came the word יְהוָ֜ה H3068 of the LORD בְּיַד־ H3027 by חַגַּ֣י H2292 Haggai הַנָּבִ֗יא H5030 the prophet אֶל־ H413 to זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל H2216 unto Zerubbabel בֶּן־ H1121 the son שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ H7597 of Shealtiel פַּחַ֣ת H6346 governor יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah וְאֶל־ H413 and to יְהוֹשֻׁ֧עַ H3091 and to Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 the son יְהוֹצָדָ֛ק H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֥ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֖וֹל H1419 the high לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

² כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֛ר H559 Thus speaketh יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying הָעָ֤ם H5971 This people הַזֶּה֙ H2088 This אָֽמְר֔וּ H559 say לֹ֥א H3808 not עֶת־ H6256 The time בֹּ֛א H935 is not come עֶת־ H6256 the time בֵּ֥ית H1004 house יְהוָ֖ה H3068 that the LORD'S לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ H1129 should be built פ

³ וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 Then came the word יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD בְּיַד־ H3027 by חַגַּ֥י H2292 Haggai הַנָּבִ֖יא H5030 the prophet לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

⁴ הַעֵ֤ת H6256 time לָכֶם֙ H0 אַתֶּ֔ם H859 you לָשֶׁ֖בֶת H3427 for you O ye to dwell בְּבָתֵּיכֶ֣ם H1004 houses סְפוּנִ֑ים H5603 in your cieled וְהַבַּ֥יִת H1004 and this house הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 this חָרֵֽב׃ H2720 desolate

⁵ וְעַתָּ֕ה H6258 Now כֹּ֥ה H3541 thus אָמַ֖ר H559 Now therefore thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts שִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 appoint לְבַבְכֶ֖ם H3824 heart עַל־ H5921 and דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃ H1870 your ways

⁶ זְרַעְתֶּ֨ם H2232 Ye have sown הַרְבֵּ֜ה H7235 much וְהָבֵ֣א H935 and bring מְעָ֗ט H4592 in little אָכ֤וֹל H398 ye eat וְאֵין־ H369 no לְשָׂבְעָה֙ H7654 but ye have not enough שָׁת֣וֹ H8354 ye drink וְאֵין־ H369 one לְשָׁכְרָ֔ה H7937 but ye are not filled with drink לָב֖וֹשׁ H3847 ye clothe וְאֵין־ H369 one לְחֹ֣ם H2527 you but there is none warm ל֑וֹ H0 וְהַ֨מִּשְׂתַּכֵּ֔ר H7936 and he that earneth wages מִשְׂתַּכֵּ֖ר H7936 earneth wages אֶל־ H413 into צְר֥וֹר H6872 into a bag נָקֽוּב׃ H5344 with holes פ

⁷ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֖ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts שִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 appoint לְבַבְכֶ֖ם H3824 heart עַל־ H5921 and דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃ H1870 your ways

⁸ עֲל֥וּ H5927 Go up הָהָ֛ר H2022 to the mountain וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם H935 and bring עֵ֖ץ H6086 wood וּבְנ֣וּ H1129 and build הַבָּ֑יִת H1004 the house וְאֶרְצֶה־ H7521 and I will take pleasure בּ֥וֹ H0 <וְאֶכָּבֵד כ> (וְאֶכָּבְדָ֖ה H3513 abounding with ק) אָמַ֥ר H559 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

⁹ פָּנֹ֤ה H6437 Ye looked אֶל־ H413 about הַרְבֵּה֙ H7235 for much וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 behold לִמְעָ֔ט H4592 and lo to little וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם H935 and when ye brought הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 home וְנָפַ֣חְתִּי H5301 I did blow ב֑וֹ H0 יַ֣עַן H3282 Because מֶ֗ה H4100 Why נְאֻם֙ H5002 upon it Why? saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts יַ֗עַן H3282 Because בֵּיתִי֙ H1004 of mine house אֲשֶׁר־ H834 which ה֣וּא H1931 he חָרֵ֔ב H2720 that waste וְאַתֶּ֥ם H859 of you רָצִ֖ים H7323 and ye run אִ֥ישׁ H376 every man לְבֵיתֽוֹ׃ H1004 unto his own house

¹⁰ עַל־ H5921 because כֵּ֣ן H3651 after that עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם H5921 because כָּלְא֥וּ H3607 over you is stayed שָׁמַ֖יִם H8064 Therefore the heaven מִטָּ֑ל H2919 from dew וְהָאָ֖רֶץ H776 and the earth כָּלְאָ֥ה H3607 is stayed יְבוּלָֽהּ׃ H2981 her fruit

¹¹ וָאֶקְרָ֨א H7121 And I called חֹ֜רֶב H2721 for a drought עַל־ H5921 on הָאָ֣רֶץ H776 upon the land וְעַל־ H5921 on הֶהָרִ֗ים H2022 and upon the mountains וְעַל־ H5921 on הַדָּגָן֙ H1715 and upon the corn וְעַל־ H5921 on הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ H8492 and upon the new wine וְעַל־ H5921 on הַיִּצְהָ֔ר H3323 and upon the oil וְעַ֛ל H5921 on אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 what תּוֹצִ֖יא H3318 bringeth forth הָאֲדָמָ֑ה H127 and upon which the ground וְעַל־ H5921 on הָֽאָדָם֙ H120 and upon men וְעַל־ H5921 on הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה H929 and upon cattle וְעַ֖ל H5921 and on כָּל־ H3605 all יְגִ֥יעַ H3018 and upon all the labour כַּפָּֽיִם׃ H3709 of the hands ס

¹² וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע H8085 obeyed זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל ׀ H2216 Then Zerubbabel בֶּֽן־ H1121 the son שַׁלְתִּיאֵ֡ל H7597 of Shealtiel וִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ H3091 and Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 the son יְהוֹצָדָק֩ H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֨ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֜וֹל H1419 the high וְכֹ֣ל ׀ H3605 all שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 with all the remnant הָעָ֗ם H5971 of the people בְּקוֹל֙ H6963 the voice יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of the LORD אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם H430 their God וְעַל־ H5921 and דִּבְרֵי֙ H1697 and the words חַגַּ֣י H2292 of Haggai הַנָּבִ֔יא H5030 the prophet כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 after שְׁלָח֖וֹ H7971 had sent יְהוָ֣ה H3068 as the LORD אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם H430 their God וַיִּֽירְא֥וּ H3372 did fear הָעָ֖ם H5971 him and the people מִפְּנֵ֥י H6440 before יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

¹³ וַ֠יֹּאמֶר H559 Then spake חַגַּ֞י H2292 Haggai מַלְאַ֧ךְ H4397 messenger יְהוָ֛ה H3068 the LORD'S בְּמַלְאֲכ֥וּת H4400 message יְהוָ֖ה H3068 in the LORD'S לָעָ֣ם H5971 unto the people לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying אֲנִ֥י H589 I אִתְּכֶ֖ם H854 for נְאֻם־ H5002 I with you saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

¹⁴ וַיָּ֣עַר H5782 stirred up יְהוָ֡ה H3068 And the LORD אֶת־ H853 רוּחַ֩ H7307 the spirit זְרֻבָּבֶ֨ל H2216 of Zerubbabel בֶּן־ H1121 the son שַׁלְתִּיאֵ֜ל H7597 of Shealtiel פַּחַ֣ת H6346 governor יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 of Judah וְאֶת־ H853 ר֙וּחַ֙ H7307 and the spirit יְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַ H3091 of Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 the son יְהוֹצָדָק֙ H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֔וֹל H1419 the high וְֽאֶת־ H853 ר֔וּחַ H7307 and the spirit כֹּ֖ל H3605 of all שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 of all the remnant הָעָ֑ם H5971 of the people וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ H935 and they came וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ H6213 and did מְלָאכָ֔ה H4399 work בְּבֵית־ H1004 in the house יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ H430 their God פ

¹⁵ בְּי֨וֹם H3117 day עֶשְׂרִ֧ים H6242 and twentieth וְאַרְבָּעָ֛ה H702 In the four לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ H2320 month בַּשִּׁשִּׁ֑י H8345 of the sixth בִּשְׁנַ֥ת H8141 year שְׁתַּ֖יִם H8147 in the second לְדָרְיָ֥וֶשׁ H1867 of Darius הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 the king

¹ בַּשְּׁבִיעִ֕י H7637 In the seventh בְּעֶשְׂרִ֥ים H6242 and twentieth וְאֶחָ֖ד H259 in the one לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ H2320 of the month הָיָה֙ H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 came the word יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD בְּיַד־ H3027 by חַגַּ֥י H2292 Haggai הַנָּבִ֖יא H5030 the prophet לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

² אֱמָר־ H559 Speak נָ֗א H4994 now אֶל־ H413 to זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל H2216 now to Zerubbabel בֶּן־ H1121 the son שַׁלְתִּיאֵל֙ H7597 of Shealtiel פַּחַ֣ת H6346 governor יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah וְאֶל־ H413 and to יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ H3091 and to Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 the son יְהוֹצָדָ֖ק H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֑וֹל H1419 the high וְאֶל־ H413 and to שְׁאֵרִ֥ית H7611 and to the residue הָעָ֖ם H5971 of the people לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

³ מִ֤י H4310 Who בָכֶם֙ H0 הַנִּשְׁאָ֔ר H7604 Who left אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 who רָאָה֙ H7200 among you that saw אֶת־ H853 הַבַּ֣יִת H1004 this house הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 this בִּכְבוֹד֖וֹ H3519 glorious הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן H7223 in her first וּמָ֨ה H4100 how long אַתֶּ֜ם H859 you רֹאִ֤ים H7200 see אֹתוֹ֙ H853 עַ֔תָּה H6258 henceforth הֲל֥וֹא H3808 not כָמֹ֛הוּ H3644 in comparison כְּאַ֖יִן H369 nothing בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ H5869 it now? not in your eyes

⁴ וְעַתָּ֣ה H6258 now חֲזַ֣ק H2388 Yet now be strong זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל ׀ H2216 O Zerubbabel נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֡ה H3068 the LORD וַחֲזַ֣ק H2388 and be strong יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ H3091 O Joshua בֶּן־ H1121 son יְהוֹצָדָק֩ H3087 of Josedech הַכֹּהֵ֨ן H3548 priest הַגָּד֜וֹל H1419 the high וַחֲזַ֨ק H2388 and be strong כָּל־ H3605 and all עַ֥ם H5971 all ye people הָאָ֛רֶץ H776 of the land נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֖ה H3068 the LORD וַֽעֲשׂ֑וּ H6213 and work כִּֽי־ H3588 for אֲנִ֣י H589 I אִתְּכֶ֔ם H854 for נְאֻ֖ם H5002 for I with you saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

⁵ אֶֽת־ H853 הַדָּבָ֞ר H1697 the word אֲשֶׁר־ H834 which כָּרַ֤תִּי H3772 that I covenanted אִתְּכֶם֙ H854 for בְּצֵאתְכֶ֣ם H3318 with you when ye came מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם H4714 out of Egypt וְרוּחִ֖י H7307 so my spirit עֹמֶ֣דֶת H5975 remaineth בְּתוֹכְכֶ֑ם H8432 among אַל־ H408 nay תִּירָֽאוּ׃ H3372 you fear ס

⁶ כִּ֣י H3588 For כֹ֤ה H3541 thus אָמַר֙ H559 For thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 of hosts ע֥וֹד H5750 more אַחַ֖ת H259 Yet once מְעַ֣ט H4592 it a little while הִ֑יא H1931 he וַאֲנִ֗י H589 I am מַרְעִישׁ֙ H7493 and I will shake אֶת־ H853 הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם H8064 the heavens וְאֶת־ H853 הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 and the earth וְאֶת־ H853 הַיָּ֖ם H3220 and the sea וְאֶת־ H853 הֶחָרָבָֽה׃ H2724 and the dry

⁷ וְהִרְעַשְׁתִּי֙ H7493 And I will shake אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 all nations וּבָ֖אוּ H935 shall come חֶמְדַּ֣ת H2532 and the desire כָּל־ H3605 of all הַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 of all nations וּמִלֵּאתִ֞י H4390 and I will fill אֶת־ H853 הַבַּ֤יִת H1004 this house הַזֶּה֙ H2088 this כָּב֔וֹד H3519 with glory אָמַ֖ר H559 saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

⁸ לִ֥י H0 הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 The silver וְלִ֣י H0 הַזָּהָ֑ב H2091 mine and the gold נְאֻ֖ם H5002 mine saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts

⁹ גָּד֣וֹל H1419 shall be greater than יִֽהְיֶ֡ה H1961 become כְּבוֹד֩ H3519 The glory הַבַּ֨יִת H1004 house הַזֶּ֤ה H2088 of this הָאַֽחֲרוֹן֙ H314 of this latter מִן־ H4480 than הָ֣רִאשׁ֔וֹן H7223 of the former אָמַ֖ר H559 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts וּבַמָּק֤וֹם H4725 and in this place הַזֶּה֙ H2088 this אֶתֵּ֣ן H5414 will I give שָׁל֔וֹם H7965 peace נְאֻ֖ם H5002 saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts פ

¹⁰ בְּעֶשְׂרִ֤ים H6242 and twentieth וְאַרְבָּעָה֙ H702 In the four לַתְּשִׁיעִ֔י H8671 of the ninth בִּשְׁנַ֥ת H8141 year שְׁתַּ֖יִם H8147 in the second לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ H1867 of Darius הָיָה֙ H1961 came דְּבַר־ H1697 came the word יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God אֶל־ H413 to חַגַּ֥י H2292 Haggai הַנָּבִ֖יא H5030 the prophet לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

¹¹ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֖ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֑וֹת H6635 of hosts שְׁאַל־ H7592 Ask נָ֧א H4994 now אֶת־ H853 הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים H3548 now the priests תּוֹרָ֖ה H8451 the law לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

¹² הֵ֣ן ׀ H2005 If יִשָּׂא־ H5375 bear אִ֨ישׁ H376 If one בְּשַׂר־ H1320 flesh קֹ֜דֶשׁ H6944 holy בִּכְנַ֣ף H3671 in the skirt בִּגְד֗וֹ H899 of his garment וְנָגַ֣ע H5060 do touch בִּ֠כְנָפוֹ H3671 and with his skirt אֶל־ H413 about הַלֶּ֨חֶם H3899 bread וְאֶל־ H413 to הַנָּזִ֜יד H5138 or pottage וְאֶל־ H413 about הַיַּ֧יִן H3196 or wine וְאֶל־ H413 about שֶׁ֛מֶן H8081 or oil וְאֶל־ H413 to כָּל־ H3605 any מַאֲכָ֖ל H3978 or any meat הֲיִקְדָּ֑שׁ H6942 shall it be holy וַיַּעֲנ֧וּ H6030 answered הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים H3548 ? And the priests וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ H559 and said לֹֽא׃ H3808 No

¹³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 Then said חַגַּ֔י H2292 Haggai אִם־ H518 If יִגַּ֧ע H5060 touch טְמֵא־ H2931 If unclean נֶ֛פֶשׁ H5315 by a dead body בְּכָל־ H3605 any אֵ֖לֶּה H428 of these הֲיִטְמָ֑א H2930 any of these shall it be unclean וַיַּעֲנ֧וּ H6030 answered הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים H3548 ? And the priests וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ H559 and said יִטְמָֽא׃ H2930 It shall be unclean

¹⁴ וַיַּ֨עַן H6030 Then answered חַגַּ֜י H2292 Haggai וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 and said כֵּ֣ן H3651 So הָֽעָם־ H5971 So this people הַ֠זֶּה H2088 is this וְכֵן־ H3651 and so הַגּ֨וֹי H1471 and so this nation הַזֶּ֤ה H2088 is this לְפָנַי֙ H6440 before נְאֻם־ H5002 me saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD וְכֵ֖ן H3651 and so כָּל־ H3605 is every מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה H4639 and so every work יְדֵיהֶ֑ם H3027 of their hands וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and what יַקְרִ֛יבוּ H7126 and that which they offer שָׁ֖ם H8033 there טָמֵ֥א H2931 there unclean הֽוּא׃ H1931 he

¹⁵ וְעַתָּה֙ H6258 now שִֽׂימוּ־ H7760 was laid נָ֣א H4994 I beseech thee לְבַבְכֶ֔ם H3824 heart מִן־ H4480 at הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 from this day הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 this וָמָ֑עְלָה H4605 and upward מִטֶּ֧רֶם H2962 from before שֽׂוּם־ H7760 was placed אֶ֛בֶן H68 a stone אֶל־ H413 on אֶ֖בֶן H68 upon a stone בְּהֵיכַ֥ל H1964 in the temple יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

¹⁶ מִֽהְיוֹתָ֥ם H1961 time בָּא֙ H935 Since those were when came אֶל־ H413 about עֲרֵמַ֣ת H6194 to an heap עֶשְׂרִ֔ים H6242 of twenty וְהָיְתָ֖ה H1961 time עֲשָׂרָ֑ה H6235 there were ten בָּ֣א H935 when came אֶל־ H413 to הַיֶּ֗קֶב H3342 to the pressfat לַחְשֹׂף֙ H2834 for to draw out חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים H2572 fifty פּוּרָ֔ה H6333 out of the press וְהָיְתָ֖ה H1961 time עֶשְׂרִֽים׃ H6242 there were twenty

¹⁷ הִכֵּ֨יתִי H5221 I smote אֶתְכֶ֜ם H853 בַּשִּׁדָּפ֤וֹן H7711 you with blasting וּבַיֵּֽרָקוֹן֙ H3420 and with mildew וּבַבָּרָ֔ד H1259 and with hail אֵ֖ת H853 כָּל־ H3605 you every מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה H4639 in all the labours יְדֵיכֶ֑ם H3027 of your hands וְאֵין־ H369 else אֶתְכֶ֥ם H853 אֵלַ֖י H413 to me נְאֻם־ H5002 yet ye not to me saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

¹⁸ שִׂימוּ־ H7760 appoint נָ֣א H4994 I beseech thee לְבַבְכֶ֔ם H3824 heart מִן־ H4480 at הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 now from this day הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 this וָמָ֑עְלָה H4605 and upward מִיּוֹם֩ H3117 day עֶשְׂרִ֨ים H6242 and twentieth וְאַרְבָּעָ֜ה H702 from the four לַתְּשִׁיעִ֗י H8671 of the ninth לְמִן־ H4480 at הַיּ֛וֹם H3117 from the day אֲשֶׁר־ H834 when יֻסַּ֥ד H3245 that the foundation הֵֽיכַל־ H1964 temple יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD'S שִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 appoint לְבַבְכֶֽם׃ H3824 heart

¹⁹ הַע֤וֹד H5750 still הַזֶּ֙רַע֙ H2233 Is the seed בַּמְּגוּרָ֔ה H4035 barn וְעַד־ H5704 including הַגֶּ֨פֶן H1612 the vine וְהַתְּאֵנָ֧ה H8384 and the fig tree וְהָרִמּ֛וֹן H7416 and the pomegranate וְעֵ֥ץ H6086 tree הַזַּ֖יִת H2132 and the olive לֹ֣א H3808 has not נָשָׂ֑א H5375 hath not brought forth מִן־ H4480 at הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 from this day הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 this אֲבָרֵֽךְ׃ H1288 will I bless ס

²⁰ וַיְהִ֨י H1961 came דְבַר־ H1697 the word יְהוָ֤ה ׀ H3068 of the LORD שֵׁנִית֙ H8145 And again אֶל־ H413 to חַגַּ֔י H2292 came unto Haggai בְּעֶשְׂרִ֧ים H6242 and twentieth וְאַרְבָּעָ֛ה H702 in the four לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ H2320 of the month לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

²¹ אֱמֹ֕ר H559 Speak אֶל־ H413 to זְרֻבָּבֶ֥ל H2216 to Zerubbabel פַּֽחַת־ H6346 governor יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying אֲנִ֣י H589 I am מַרְעִ֔ישׁ H7493 I will shake אֶת־ H853 הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם H8064 the heavens וְאֶת־ H853 הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 and the earth

²² וְהָֽפַכְתִּי֙ H2015 And I will overthrow כִּסֵּ֣א H3678 the throne מַמְלָכ֔וֹת H4467 of kingdoms וְהִ֨שְׁמַדְתִּ֔י H8045 and I will destroy חֹ֖זֶק H2392 the strength מַמְלְכ֣וֹת H4467 of the kingdoms הַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 of the heathen וְהָפַכְתִּ֤י H2015 and I will overthrow מֶרְכָּבָה֙ H4818 the chariots וְרֹ֣כְבֶ֔יהָ H7392 and those that ride וְיָרְד֤וּ H3381 shall come down סוּסִים֙ H5483 in them and the horses וְרֹ֣כְבֵיהֶ֔ם H7392 and their riders אִ֖ישׁ H376 every one בְּחֶ֥רֶב H2719 by the sword אָחִֽיו׃ H251 of his brother

²³ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֣וּא H1931 you' נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֣ה H3068 the LORD צְבָא֡וֹת H6635 of hosts אֶ֠קָּחֲךָ H3947 will I take זְרֻבָּבֶ֨ל H2216 thee O Zerubbabel בֶּן־ H1121 the son שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֤ל H7597 of Shealtiel עַבְדִּי֙ H5650 my servant נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךָ H7760 and will make כַּֽחוֹתָ֑ם H2368 thee as a signet כִּֽי־ H3588 for בְךָ֣ H0 בָחַ֔רְתִּי H977 for I have chosen נְאֻ֖ם H5002 thee saith יְהוָ֥ה H3068 the LORD צְבָאֽוֹת׃ H6635 of hosts
