² שִׁמְעוּ֙ H8085 Hear עַמִּ֣ים H5971 all ye people כֻּלָּ֔ם H3605 all הַקְשִׁ֖יבִי H7181 hearken אֶ֣רֶץ H776 O earth וּמְלֹאָ֑הּ H4393 and all that therein וִיהִי֩ H1961 become אֲדֹנָ֨י H136 is and let the Lord יְהוִ֤ה H3069 GOD בָּכֶם֙ H0 לְעֵ֔ד H5707 be witness אֲדֹנָ֖י H136 against you the Lord מֵהֵיכַ֥ל H1964 temple קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ H6944 from his holy

³ כִּֽי־ H3588 For הִנֵּ֥ה H2009 behold יְהוָ֖ה H3068 For behold the LORD יֹצֵ֣א H3318 cometh forth מִמְּקוֹמ֑וֹ H4725 out of his place וְיָרַ֥ד H3381 and will come down וְדָרַ֖ךְ H1869 and tread עַל־ H5921 and <בָּמֹותֵי כ> (בָּ֥מֳתֵי H1116 height ק) אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the earth

⁴ וְנָמַ֤סּוּ H4549 shall be molten הֶֽהָרִים֙ H2022 And the mountains תַּחְתָּ֔יו H8478 under וְהָעֲמָקִ֖ים H6010 under him and the valleys יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ H1234 shall be cleft כַּדּוֹנַג֙ H1749 as wax מִפְּנֵ֣י H6440 before הָאֵ֔שׁ H784 the fire כְּמַ֖יִם H4325 as the waters מֻגָּרִ֥ים H5064 poured בְּמוֹרָֽד׃ H4174 down a steep place

⁵ בְּפֶ֤שַׁע H6588 For the transgression יַֽעֲקֹב֙ H3290 of Jacob כָּל־ H3605 All זֹ֔את H2063 and for וּבְחַטֹּ֖אות H2403 all this and for the sins בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 of Israel מִֽי־ H4310 What פֶ֣שַׁע H6588 What the transgression יַעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 of Jacob הֲלוֹא֙ H3808 not שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן H8111 Samaria וּמִי֙ H4310 What בָּמ֣וֹת H1116 is the high יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 Judah הֲל֖וֹא H3808 not יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 Jerusalem

⁶ וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י H7760 Therefore I will make שֹׁמְר֛וֹן H8111 Samaria לְעִ֥י H5856 as an heap הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה H7704 of the field לְמַטָּ֣עֵי H4302 as plantings כָ֑רֶם H3754 of a vineyard וְהִגַּרְתִּ֤י H5064 and I will pour down לַגַּי֙ H1516 thereof into the valley אֲבָנֶ֔יהָ H68 the stones וִיסֹדֶ֖יהָ H3247 the foundations אֲגַלֶּֽה׃ H1540 and I will discover

⁷ וְכָל־ H3605 All פְּסִילֶ֣יהָ H6456 And all the graven images יֻכַּ֗תּוּ H3807 thereof shall be beaten to pieces וְכָל־ H3605 All אֶתְנַנֶּ֙יהָ֙ H868 and all the hires יִשָּׂרְפ֣וּ H8313 thereof shall be burned בָאֵ֔שׁ H784 with the fire וְכָל־ H3605 and all עֲצַבֶּ֖יהָ H6091 and all the idols אָשִׂ֣ים H7760 thereof will I lay שְׁמָמָ֑ה H8077 desolate כִּ֠י H3588 for מֵאֶתְנַ֤ן H868 of the hire זוֹנָה֙ H2181 of an harlot קִבָּ֔צָה H6908 for she gathered וְעַד־ H5704 and to אֶתְנַ֥ן H868 to the hire זוֹנָ֖ה H2181 of an harlot יָשֽׁוּבוּ׃ H7725 and they shall return

⁸ עַל־ H5921 Because זֹאת֙ H2063 must אֶסְפְּדָ֣ה H5594 Therefore I will wail וְאֵילִ֔ילָה H3213 and howl אֵילְכָ֥ה H1980 go <שִׁילַל כ> (שֹׁולָ֖ל H7758 spoiled ק) וְעָר֑וֹם H6174 and naked אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה H6213 I will make מִסְפֵּד֙ H4553 a wailing כַּתַּנִּ֔ים H8577 like the dragons וְאֵ֖בֶל H60 and mourning כִּבְנ֥וֹת H1323 first יַעֲנָֽה׃ H3284 the ostriches

⁹ כִּ֥י H3588 for אֲנוּשָׁ֖ה H605 incurable מַכּוֹתֶ֑יהָ H4347 For her wound כִּי־ H3588 for בָ֙אָה֙ H935 for it is come עַד־ H5704 against יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 unto Judah נָגַ֛ע H5060 he is come עַד־ H5704 against שַׁ֥עַר H8179 unto the gate עַמִּ֖י H5971 of my people עַד־ H5704 to יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 to Jerusalem

¹¹ עִבְרִ֥י H5674 Pass ye away לָכֶ֛ם H0 יוֹשֶׁ֥בֶת H3427 thou inhabitant שָׁפִ֖יר H8208 of Saphir עֶרְיָה־ H6181 naked בֹ֑שֶׁת H1322 having thy shame לֹ֤א H3808 does not יָֽצְאָה֙ H3318 came not forth יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 the inhabitant צַֽאֲנָ֔ן H6630 of Zaanan מִסְפַּד֙ H5594 lament בֵּ֣ית H0 הָאֵ֔צֶל H1018 of Bethezel יִקַּ֥ח H3947 he shall receive מִכֶּ֖ם H4480 at עֶמְדָּתֽוֹ׃ H5979 of you his standing

¹² כִּֽי־ H3588 Because חָ֥לָֽה H2470 weak לְט֖וֹב H2896 for good יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 For the inhabitant מָר֑וֹת H4796 of Maroth כִּֽי־ H3588 Because יָ֤רַד H3381 came down רָע֙ H7451 but evil מֵאֵ֣ת H853 יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God לְשַׁ֖עַר H8179 unto the gate יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 of Jerusalem

¹³ רְתֹ֧ם H7573 bind הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה H4818 the chariot לָרֶ֖כֶשׁ H7409 to the swift beast יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 O thou inhabitant לָכִ֑ישׁ H3923 of Lachish רֵאשִׁ֨ית H7225 she the beginning חַטָּ֥את H2403 of the sin הִיא֙ H1931 he לְבַת־ H1323 to the daughter צִיּ֔וֹן H6726 of Zion כִּי־ H3588 for בָ֥ךְ H0 נִמְצְא֖וּ H4672 were found פִּשְׁעֵ֥י H6588 for the transgressions יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

¹⁴ לָכֵן֙ H3651 Therefore תִּתְּנִ֣י H5414 Therefore shalt thou give שִׁלּוּחִ֔ים H7964 presents עַ֖ל H5921 behalf מוֹרֶ֣שֶׁת H0 גַּ֑ת H4182 to Moreshethgath בָּתֵּ֤י H1004 the houses אַכְזִיב֙ H392 of Achzib לְאַכְזָ֔ב H391 a lie לְמַלְכֵ֖י H4428 to the kings יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

¹⁵ עֹ֗ד H5750 Moreover הַיֹּרֵשׁ֙ H3423 an heir אָ֣בִי H935 Yet will I bring לָ֔ךְ H0 יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת H3427 unto thee O inhabitant מָֽרֵשָׁ֑ה H4762 of Mareshah עַד־ H5704 against עֲדֻלָּ֥ם H5725 unto Adullam יָב֖וֹא H935 he shall come כְּב֥וֹד H3519 the glory יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

¹⁶ קָרְחִ֣י H7139 Make thee bald וָגֹ֔זִּי H1494 and poll עַל־ H5921 of בְּנֵ֖י H1121 children תַּעֲנוּגָ֑יִךְ H8588 thee for thy delicate הַרְחִ֤בִי H7337 enlarge קָרְחָתֵךְ֙ H7144 thy baldness כַּנֶּ֔שֶׁר H5404 as the eagle כִּ֥י H3588 Because גָל֖וּ H1540 for they are gone into captivity מִמֵּֽךְ׃ H4480 at ס

¹ ה֧וֹי H1945 Woe חֹֽשְׁבֵי־ H2803 to them that devise אָ֛וֶן H205 iniquity וּפֹ֥עֲלֵי H6466 and work רָ֖ע H7451 evil עַל־ H5921 on מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָ֑ם H4904 upon their beds בְּא֤וֹר H216 is light הַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ H1242 when the morning יַעֲשׂ֔וּהָ H6213 they practise כִּ֥י H3588 for יֶשׁ־ H3426 it because it is לְאֵ֖ל H410 in the power יָדָֽם׃ H3027 of their hand

² וְחָמְד֤וּ H2530 And they covet שָׂדוֹת֙ H7704 fields וְגָזָ֔לוּ H1497 and take by violence וּבָתִּ֖ים H1004 and houses וְנָשָׂ֑אוּ H5375 and take away וְעָֽשְׁקוּ֙ H6231 so they oppress גֶּ֣בֶר H1397 a man וּבֵית֔וֹ H1004 and his house וְאִ֖ישׁ H376 even a man וְנַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ H5159 and his heritage פ

³ לָכֵ֗ן H3651 Therefore כֹּ֚ה H3541 thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Therefore thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD הִנְנִ֥י H2005 behold חֹשֵׁ֛ב H2803 do I devise עַל־ H5921 against הַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֥ה H4940 Behold against this family הַזֹּ֖את H2063 likewise רָעָ֑ה H7451 an evil אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 which לֹֽא־ H3808 cannot תָמִ֨ישׁוּ H4185 from which ye shall not remove מִשָּׁ֜ם H8033 in it צַוְּארֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם H6677 your necks וְלֹ֤א H3808 cannot תֵֽלְכוּ֙ H1980 walk רוֹמָ֔ה H7317 haughtily כִּ֛י H3588 for עֵ֥ת H6256 for this time רָעָ֖ה H7451 evil הִֽיא׃ H1931 that

⁴ בַּיּ֨וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֜וּא H1931 they יִשָּׂ֧א H5375 shall take up עֲלֵיכֶ֣ם H5921 against מָשָׁ֗ל H4912 a parable וְנָהָ֨ה H5091 against you and lament נְהִ֤י H5092 lamentation נִֽהְיָה֙ H1961 become אָמַר֙ H559 say שָׁד֣וֹד H7703 We be utterly נְשַׁדֻּ֔נוּ H7703 spoiled חֵ֥לֶק H2506 the portion עַמִּ֖י H5971 of my people יָמִ֑יר H4171 he hath changed אֵ֚יךְ H349 How יָמִ֣ישׁ H4185 how hath he removed לִ֔י H0 לְשׁוֹבֵ֥ב H7728 to the apostate שָׂדֵ֖ינוּ H7704 our fields יְחַלֵּֽק׃ H2505 he hath divided

⁵ לָכֵן֙ H3651 Therefore לֹֽא־ H3808 no יִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 will have לְךָ֔ H0 מַשְׁלִ֥יךְ H7993 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast חֶ֖בֶל H2256 a cord בְּגוֹרָ֑ל H1486 by lot בִּקְהַ֖ל H6951 in the congregation יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

⁶ אַל־ H408 not תַּטִּ֖פוּ H5197 Prophesy יַטִּיפ֑וּן H5197 ye not prophesy לֹֽא־ H3808 not יַטִּ֣פוּ H5197 they shall not prophesy לָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 these לֹ֥א H3808 shall not יִסַּ֖ג H5253 to them they shall not take כְּלִמּֽוֹת׃ H3639 shame

⁷ הֶאָמ֣וּר H559 O named בֵּֽית־ H1004 the house יַעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 of Jacob הֲקָצַר֙ H7114 straitened ר֣וּחַ H7307 is the spirit יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD אִם־ H518 lo אֵ֖לֶּה H428 another מַעֲלָלָ֑יו H4611 doing הֲל֤וֹא H3808 not דְבָרַ֨י H1697 act יֵיטִ֔יבוּ H3190 do good עִ֖ם H5973 with הַיָּשָׁ֥ר H3477 convenient הוֹלֵֽךְ׃ H1980 to him that walketh

⁸ וְאֶתְמ֗וּל H865 Even of late עַמִּי֙ H5971 my people לְאוֹיֵ֣ב H341 as an enemy יְקוֹמֵ֔ם H6965 is risen up מִמּ֣וּל H4136 with שַׂלְמָ֔ה H8008 the garment אֶ֖דֶר H145 the robe תַּפְשִׁט֑וּן H6584 ye pull off מֵעֹבְרִ֣ים H5674 from them that pass בֶּ֔טַח H983 by securely שׁוּבֵ֖י H7725 as men averse מִלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 from war

⁹ נְשֵׁ֤י H802 The women עַמִּי֙ H5971 of my people תְּגָ֣רְשׁ֔וּן H1644 have ye cast out מִבֵּ֖ית H1004 houses תַּֽעֲנֻגֶ֑יהָ H8588 from their pleasant מֵעַל֙ H5921 From עֹֽלָלֶ֔יהָ H5768 from their children תִּקְח֥וּ H3947 have ye taken away הֲדָרִ֖י H1926 my glory לְעוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 for ever

¹⁰ ק֣וּמוּ H6965 Arise וּלְכ֔וּ H1980 and go כִּ֥י H3588 for לֹא־ H3808 is no זֹ֖את H2063 likewise הַמְּנוּחָ֑ה H4496 for this not rest בַּעֲב֥וּר H5668 Because טָמְאָ֛ה H2930 because it is polluted תְּחַבֵּ֖ל H2254 it shall destroy וְחֶ֥בֶל H2256 destruction נִמְרָֽץ׃ H4834 even with a sore

¹¹ לוּ־ H3863 If אִ֞ישׁ H376 a man הֹלֵ֥ךְ H1980 walking ר֙וּחַ֙ H7307 in the spirit וָשֶׁ֣קֶר H8267 and falsehood כִּזֵּ֔ב H3576 do lie אַטִּ֣ף H5197 I will prophesy לְךָ֔ H0 לַיַּ֖יִן H3196 unto thee of wine וְלַשֵּׁכָ֑ר H7941 and of strong drink וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 become מַטִּ֖יף H5197 he shall even be the prophet הָעָ֥ם H5971 of this people הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 to this

¹² אָסֹ֨ף H622 I will surely אֶאֱסֹ֜ף H622 assemble יַעֲקֹ֣ב H3290 O Jacob כֻּלָּ֗ךְ H3605 all קַבֵּ֤ץ H6908 all of thee I will surely אֲקַבֵּץ֙ H6908 gather שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 the remnant יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 of Israel יַ֥חַד H3162 them together אֲשִׂימֶ֖נּוּ H7760 I will put כְּצֹ֣אן H6629 as the sheep בָּצְרָ֑ה H1223 the fold כְּעֵ֙דֶר֙ H5739 as the flock בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 in the midst הַדָּֽבְר֔וֹ H1699 of their fold תְּהִימֶ֖נָה H1949 they shall make great noise מֵאָדָֽם׃ H120 by reason of men

¹³ עָלָ֤ה H5927 is come up הַפֹּרֵץ֙ H6555 The breaker לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם H6440 before פָּֽרְצוּ֙ H6555 them they have broken up וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֔רוּ H5674 and have passed through שַׁ֖עַר H8179 the gate וַיֵּ֣צְאוּ H3318 and are gone out ב֑וֹ H0 וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר H5674 shall pass מַלְכָּם֙ H4428 by it and their king לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם H6440 before וַיהוָ֖ה H3068 them and the LORD בְּרֹאשָֽׁם׃ H7218 on the head פ

¹ וָאֹמַ֗ר H559 And I said שִׁמְעוּ־ H8085 Hear נָא֙ H4994 now רָאשֵׁ֣י H7218 I pray you O heads יַעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 of Jacob וּקְצִינֵ֖י H7101 and ye princes בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 of Israel הֲל֣וֹא H3808 not לָכֶ֔ם H0 לָדַ֖עַת H3045 not for you to know אֶת־ H853 הַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ H4941 adversary

² שֹׂ֥נְאֵי H8130 Who hate ט֖וֹב H2896 the good וְאֹ֣הֲבֵי H157 and love <רָעָה כ> (רָ֑ע H7451 adversity ק) גֹּזְלֵ֤י H1497 who pluck off עוֹרָם֙ H5785 their skin מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם H5921 and וּשְׁאֵרָ֖ם H7607 from off them and their flesh מֵעַ֥ל H5921 from עַצְמוֹתָֽם׃ H6106 from off their bones

³ וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Who אָכְלוּ֮ H398 Who also eat שְׁאֵ֣ר H7607 the flesh עַמִּי֒ H5971 of my people וְעוֹרָם֙ H5785 their skin מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם H5921 and הִפְשִׁ֔יטוּ H6584 and flay וְאֶת־ H853 עַצְמֹֽתֵיהֶ֖ם H6106 their bones פִּצֵּ֑חוּ H6476 from off them and they break וּפָרְשׂוּ֙ H6566 and chop them in pieces כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Who בַּסִּ֔יר H5518 as for the pot וּכְבָשָׂ֖ר H1320 and as flesh בְּת֥וֹךְ H8432 within קַלָּֽחַת׃ H7037 the caldron

⁴ אָ֚ז H227 Then יִזְעֲק֣וּ H2199 Then shall they cry אֶל־ H413 to יְהוָ֔ה H3068 unto the LORD וְלֹ֥א H3808 He will not יַעֲנֶ֖ה H6030 but he will not hear אוֹתָ֑ם H853 וְיַסְתֵּ֨ר H5641 them he will even hide פָּנָ֤יו H6440 his face מֵהֶם֙ H1992 that בָּעֵ֣ת H6256 from them at that time הַהִ֔יא H1931 he כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 Because הֵרֵ֖עוּ H7489 as they have behaved themselves ill מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ H4611 in their doings פ

⁵ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 concerning הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים H5030 concerning the prophets הַמַּתְעִ֣ים H8582 err אֶת־ H853 עַמִּ֑י H5971 that make my people הַנֹּשְׁכִ֤ים H5391 that bite בְּשִׁנֵּיהֶם֙ H8127 with their teeth וְקָרְא֣וּ H7121 and cry שָׁל֔וֹם H7965 Peace וַאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 who לֹא־ H3808 nothing יִתֵּ֣ן H5414 and he that putteth עַל־ H5921 against פִּיהֶ֔ם H6310 not into their mouths וְקִדְּשׁ֥וּ H6942 they even prepare עָלָ֖יו H5921 concerning מִלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 war

⁶ לָכֵ֞ן H3651 Therefore לַ֤יְלָה H3915 Therefore night לָכֶם֙ H0 מֵֽחָז֔וֹן H2377 unto you that ye shall not have a vision וְחָשְׁכָ֥ה H2821 be black לָכֶ֖ם H0 מִקְּסֹ֑ם H7080 unto you that ye shall not divine וּבָ֤אָה H935 shall go down הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ H8121 and the sun עַל־ H5921 over הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים H5030 over the prophets וְקָדַ֥ר H6937 shall be dark עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 over הַיּֽוֹם׃ H3117 and the day

⁷ וּבֹ֣שׁוּ H954 be ashamed הַחֹזִ֗ים H2374 Then shall the seers וְחָֽפְרוּ֙ H2659 confounded הַקֹּ֣סְמִ֔ים H7080 and the diviners וְעָט֥וּ H5844 yea they shall all cover עַל־ H5921 and שָׂפָ֖ם H8222 their lips כֻּלָּ֑ם H3605 will all כִּ֛י H3588 Because אֵ֥ין H369 there מַעֲנֵ֖ה H4617 for no answer אֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 of God

⁸ וְאוּלָ֗ם H199 But truly אָנֹכִ֞י H595 I מָלֵ֤אתִי H4390 I am full כֹ֙חַ֙ H3581 of power אֶת־ H853 ר֣וּחַ H7307 by the spirit יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD וּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט H4941 and of judgment וּגְבוּרָ֑ה H1369 and of might לְהַגִּ֤יד H5046 to declare לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ H3290 unto Jacob פִּשְׁע֔וֹ H6588 his transgression וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 and to Israel חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃ H2403 his sin ס

⁹ שִׁמְעוּ־ H8085 Hear נָ֣א H4994 Now זֹ֗את H2063 likewise רָאשֵׁי֙ H7218 this I pray you ye heads בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the house יַעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 of Jacob וּקְצִינֵ֖י H7101 and princes בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 of Israel הַֽמֲתַעֲבִ֣ים H8581 that abhor מִשְׁפָּ֔ט H4941 judgment וְאֵ֥ת H853 כָּל־ H3605 everything הַיְשָׁרָ֖ה H3477 all equity יְעַקֵּֽשׁוּ׃ H6140 and pervert

¹⁰ בֹּנֶ֥ה H1129 They build up צִיּ֖וֹן H6726 Zion בְּדָמִ֑ים H1818 with blood וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 and Jerusalem בְּעַוְלָֽה׃ H5766 with iniquity

¹¹ רָאשֶׁ֣יהָ ׀ H7218 The heads בְּשֹׁ֣חַד H7810 for reward יִשְׁפֹּ֗טוּ H8199 thereof judge וְכֹהֲנֶ֙יהָ֙ H3548 and the priests בִּמְחִ֣יר H4242 for hire יוֹר֔וּ H3384 thereof teach וּנְבִיאֶ֖יהָ H5030 and the prophets בְּכֶ֣סֶף H3701 for money יִקְסֹ֑מוּ H7080 thereof divine וְעַל־ H5921 on יְהוָה֙ H3068 upon the LORD יִשָּׁעֵ֣נוּ H8172 yet will they lean לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 and say הֲל֤וֹא H3808 is not יְהוָה֙ H3068 not the LORD בְּקִרְבֵּ֔נוּ H7130 among לֹֽא־ H3808 will not תָב֥וֹא H935 can come עָלֵ֖ינוּ H5921 and רָעָֽה׃ H7451 us? none evil

¹² לָכֵן֙ H3651 Therefore בִּגְלַלְכֶ֔ם H1558 for your sake צִיּ֖וֹן H6726 Therefore shall Zion שָׂדֶ֣ה H7704 a field תֵֽחָרֵ֑שׁ H2790 be plowed וִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 and Jerusalem עִיִּ֣ין H5856 shall become heaps תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה H1961 will become וְהַ֥ר H2022 and the mountain הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 of the house לְבָמ֥וֹת H1116 as the high places יָֽעַר׃ H3293 of the forest פ

¹ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ H1961 will come בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית H319 But in the last הַיָּמִ֗ים H3117 days יִ֠הְיֶה H1961 will come הַ֣ר H2022 it shall come to pass the mountain בֵּית־ H1004 of the house יְהוָ֤ה H3068 of the LORD נָכוֹן֙ H3559 shall be established בְּרֹ֣אשׁ H7218 in the top הֶהָרִ֔ים H2022 of the mountains וְנִשָּׂ֥א H5375 and it shall be exalted ה֖וּא H1931 he מִגְּבָע֑וֹת H1389 above the hills וְנָהֲר֥וּ H5102 shall flow עָלָ֖יו H5921 and עַמִּֽים׃ H5971 and people

² וְֽהָלְכ֞וּ H1980 shall come גּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 nations רַבִּ֗ים H7227 And many וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ H559 and say לְכ֣וּ ׀ H1980 Come וְנַעֲלֶ֣ה H5927 and let us go up אֶל־ H413 to הַר־ H2022 to the mountain יְהוָ֗ה H3069 God וְאֶל־ H413 and to בֵּית֙ H1004 and to the house אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of the God יַעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 of Jacob וְיוֹרֵ֙נוּ֙ H3384 and he will teach מִדְּרָכָ֔יו H1870 us of his ways וְנֵלְכָ֖ה H1980 may walk בְּאֹֽרְחֹתָ֑יו H734 in his paths כִּ֤י H3588 from מִצִּיּוֹן֙ H6726 of Zion תֵּצֵ֣א H3318 shall go forth תוֹרָ֔ה H8451 for the law וּדְבַר־ H1697 and the word יְהוָ֖ה H3069 God מִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 from Jerusalem

³ וְשָׁפַ֗ט H8199 And he shall judge בֵּ֚ין H996 between עַמִּ֣ים H5971 people רַבִּ֔ים H7227 among many וְהוֹכִ֛יחַ H3198 and rebuke לְגוֹיִ֥ם H1471 nations עֲצֻמִ֖ים H6099 strong עַד־ H5704 against רָח֑וֹק H7350 afar off וְכִתְּת֨וּ H3807 and they shall beat חַרְבֹתֵיהֶ֜ם H2719 their swords לְאִתִּ֗ים H855 into plowshares וַחֲנִיתֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ H2595 and their spears לְמַזְמֵר֔וֹת H4211 into pruninghooks לֹֽא־ H3808 and never יִשְׂא֞וּ H5375 shall not lift up גּ֤וֹי H1471 nation אֶל־ H413 against גּוֹי֙ H1471 against nation חֶ֔רֶב H2719 a sword וְלֹא־ H3808 and never יִלְמְד֥וּן H3925 neither shall they learn ע֖וֹד H5750 again מִלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 war

⁴ וְיָשְׁב֗וּ H3427 But they shall sit אִ֣ישׁ H376 every man תַּ֧חַת H8478 under גַּפְנ֛וֹ H1612 under his vine וְתַ֥חַת H8478 and under תְּאֵנָת֖וֹ H8384 and under his fig tree וְאֵ֣ין H369 no מַחֲרִ֑יד H2729 and none shall make afraid כִּי־ H3588 For פִ֛י H6310 for the mouth יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 of hosts דִּבֵּֽר׃ H1696 hath spoken

⁵ כִּ֚י H3588 Though כָּל־ H3605 all הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים H5971 For all people יֵלְכ֕וּ H1980 walk אִ֖ישׁ H376 every one בְּשֵׁ֣ם H8034 in the name אֱלֹהָ֑יו H430 of his god וַאֲנַ֗חְנוּ H587 we נֵלֵ֛ךְ H1980 will walk בְּשֵׁם־ H8034 in the name יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of the LORD אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ H430 our God לְעוֹלָ֥ם H5769 for ever וָעֶֽד׃ H5703 and ever פ

⁶ בַּיּ֨וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֜וּא H1931 he נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֗ה H3068 the LORD אֹֽסְפָה֙ H622 will I assemble הַצֹּ֣לֵעָ֔ה H6760 her that halteth וְהַנִּדָּחָ֖ה H5080 her that is driven out אֲקַבֵּ֑צָה H6908 and I will gather וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 whom הֲרֵעֹֽתִי׃ H7489 and her that I have afflicted

⁷ וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י H7760 And I will make אֶת־ H853 הַצֹּֽלֵעָה֙ H6760 her that halted לִשְׁאֵרִ֔ית H7611 a remnant וְהַנַּהֲלָאָ֖ה H1972 and her that was cast far off לְג֣וֹי H1471 nation עָצ֑וּם H6099 a strong וּמָלַ֨ךְ H4427 shall reign יְהוָ֤ה H3068 and the LORD עֲלֵיהֶם֙ H5921 over בְּהַ֣ר H2022 over them in mount צִיּ֔וֹן H6726 Zion מֵעַתָּ֖ה H6258 now וְעַד־ H5704 from henceforth even for עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 ever פ

⁸ וְאַתָּ֣ה H859 you מִגְדַּל־ H4026 And thou O tower עֵ֗דֶר H5739 of the flock עֹ֛פֶל H6076 the strong hold בַּת־ H1323 of the daughter צִיּ֖וֹן H6726 of Zion עָדֶ֣יךָ H5704 against תֵּאתֶ֑ה H857 unto thee shall it come וּבָאָ֗ה H935 shall come הַמֶּמְשָׁלָה֙ H4475 dominion הָרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה H7223 even the first מַמְלֶ֖כֶת H4467 the kingdom לְבַ֥ת־ H1323 to the daughter יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 of Jerusalem

⁹ עַתָּ֕ה H6258 Now לָ֥מָּה H4100 why תָרִ֖יעִי H7321 Now why dost thou cry רֵ֑עַ H7452 aloud הֲמֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 king אֵֽין־ H369 no בָּ֗ךְ H0 אִֽם־ H518 Or יוֹעֲצֵךְ֙ H3289 in thee? is thy counsellor אָבָ֔ד H6 perished כִּֽי־ H3588 for הֶחֱזִיקֵ֥ךְ H2388 have taken חִ֖יל H2427 ? for pangs כַּיּוֹלֵדָֽה׃ H3205 thee as a woman in travail

¹⁰ ח֧וּלִי H2342 Be in pain וָגֹ֛חִי H1518 and labour to bring forth בַּת־ H1323 O daughter צִיּ֖וֹן H6726 of Zion כַּיּֽוֹלֵדָ֑ה H3205 like a woman in travail כִּֽי־ H3588 For עַתָּה֩ H6258 now תֵצְאִ֨י H3318 for now shalt thou go forth מִקִּרְיָ֜ה H7151 out of the city וְשָׁכַ֣נְתְּ H7931 and thou shalt dwell בַּשָּׂדֶ֗ה H7704 in the field וּבָ֤את H935 and thou shalt go עַד־ H5704 against בָּבֶל֙ H894 to Babylon שָׁ֣ם H8033 There תִּנָּצֵ֔לִי H5337 there shalt thou be delivered שָׁ֚ם H8033 There יִגְאָלֵ֣ךְ H1350 shall redeem יְהוָ֔ה H3068 there the LORD מִכַּ֖ף H3709 thee from the hand אֹיְבָֽיִךְ׃ H341 of thine enemies

¹¹ וְעַתָּ֛ה H6258 and now נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ H622 are gathered עָלַ֖יִךְ H5921 against גּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 nations רַבִּ֑ים H7227 Now also many הָאֹמְרִ֣ים H559 against thee that say תֶּחֱנָ֔ף H2610 Let her be defiled וְתַ֥חַז H2372 look בְּצִיּ֖וֹן H6726 upon Zion עֵינֵֽינוּ׃ H5869 and let our eye

¹² וְהֵ֗מָּה H1992 like לֹ֤א H3808 not יָֽדְעוּ֙ H3045 But they know מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת H4284 not the thoughts יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD וְלֹ֥א H3808 not הֵבִ֖ינוּ H995 neither understand עֲצָת֑וֹ H6098 they his counsel כִּ֥י H3588 for קִבְּצָ֖ם H6908 for he shall gather כֶּעָמִ֥יר H5995 them as the sheaves גֹּֽרְנָה׃ H1637 into the floor

¹³ ק֧וּמִי H6965 Arise וָד֣וֹשִׁי H1758 and thresh בַת־ H1323 O daughter צִיּ֗וֹן H6726 of Zion כִּֽי־ H3588 For קַרְנֵ֞ךְ H7161 thine horn אָשִׂ֤ים H7760 for I will make בַּרְזֶל֙ H1270 iron וּפַרְסֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ H6541 thy hoofs אָשִׂ֣ים H7760 and I will make נְחוּשָׁ֔ה H5154 brass וַהֲדִקּ֖וֹת H1854 and thou shalt beat in pieces עַמִּ֣ים H5971 people רַבִּ֑ים H7227 many וְהַחֲרַמְתִּ֤י H2763 and I will consecrate לַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 unto the LORD בִּצְעָ֔ם H1214 covet וְחֵילָ֖ם H2428 and their substance לַאֲד֥וֹן H113 unto the Lord כָּל־ H3605 of all הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the whole earth

¹ עַתָּה֙ H6258 Now תִּתְגֹּדְדִ֣י H1413 Now gather בַת־ H1323 O daughter גְּד֔וּד H1416 thyself in troops מָצ֖וֹר H4692 siege שָׂ֣ם H7760 he hath laid עָלֵ֑ינוּ H5921 against בַּשֵּׁ֙בֶט֙ H7626 with a rod יַכּ֣וּ H5221 against us they shall smite עַֽל־ H5921 against הַלְּחִ֔י H3895 upon the cheek אֵ֖ת H853 שֹׁפֵ֥ט H8199 the judge יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel ס

² וְאַתָּ֞ה H859 you בֵּֽית־ H0 לֶ֣חֶם H1035 But thou Bethlehem אֶפְרָ֗תָה H672 Ephratah צָעִיר֙ H6810 thou be little לִֽהְיוֹת֙ H1961 to be among בְּאַלְפֵ֣י H505 among the thousands יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah מִמְּךָ֙ H4480 at לִ֣י H0 יֵצֵ֔א H3318 out of thee shall he come forth לִֽהְי֥וֹת H1961 become מוֹשֵׁ֖ל H4910 unto me to be ruler בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 in Israel וּמוֹצָאֹתָ֥יו H4163 whose goings forth מִקֶּ֖דֶם H6924 from of old מִימֵ֥י H3117 the days עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 of eternity

³ לָכֵ֣ן H3651 Therefore יִתְּנֵ֔ם H5414 Therefore will he give them up עַד־ H5704 them until עֵ֥ת H6256 until the time יוֹלֵדָ֖ה H3205 she which travaileth יָלָ֑דָה H3205 hath brought forth וְיֶ֣תֶר H3499 then the remnant אֶחָ֔יו H251 of his brethren יְשׁוּב֖וּן H7725 shall return עַל־ H5921 unto בְּנֵ֥י H1121 unto the children יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

⁴ וְעָמַ֗ד H5975 And he shall stand וְרָעָה֙ H7462 and feed בְּעֹ֣ז H5797 in the strength יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God בִּגְא֕וֹן H1347 in the majesty שֵׁ֖ם H8034 of the name יְהוָ֣ה H3069 God אֱלֹהָ֑יו H430 his God וְיָשָׁ֕בוּ H3427 and they shall abide כִּֽי־ H3588 Because עַתָּ֥ה H6258 time יִגְדַּ֖ל H1431 for now shall he be great עַד־ H5704 against אַפְסֵי־ H657 unto the ends אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 of the earth

⁵ וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 become זֶ֖ה H2088 This שָׁל֑וֹם H7965 And this shall be the peace אַשּׁ֣וּר ׀ H804 when the Assyrian כִּֽי־ H3588 When יָב֣וֹא H935 shall come בְאַרְצֵ֗נוּ H776 into our land וְכִ֤י H3588 When יִדְרֹךְ֙ H1869 and when he shall tread בְּאַרְמְנֹתֵ֔ינוּ H759 in our palaces וַהֲקֵמֹ֤נוּ H6965 then shall we raise עָלָיו֙ H5921 against שִׁבְעָ֣ה H7651 against him seven רֹעִ֔ים H7462 shepherds וּשְׁמֹנָ֖ה H8083 and eight נְסִיכֵ֥י H5257 principal אָדָֽם׃ H120 men

⁶ וְרָע֞וּ H7489 afflict אֶת־ H853 אֶ֤רֶץ H776 the land אַשּׁוּר֙ H804 of Assyria בַּחֶ֔רֶב H2719 with the sword וְאֶת־ H853 אֶ֥רֶץ H776 and the land נִמְרֹ֖ד H5248 of Nimrod בִּפְתָחֶ֑יהָ H6607 in the entrances וְהִצִּיל֙ H5337 thereof thus shall he deliver מֵֽאַשּׁ֔וּר H804 from the Assyrian כִּֽי־ H3588 When יָב֣וֹא H935 when he cometh בְאַרְצֵ֔נוּ H776 into our land וְכִ֥י H3588 and when יִדְרֹ֖ךְ H1869 and when he treadeth בִּגְבוּלֵֽנוּ׃ H1366 within our borders ס

⁷ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ H1961 Then שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 And the remnant יַעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 of Jacob בְּקֶ֙רֶב֙ H7130 shall be in the midst עַמִּ֣ים H5971 people רַבִּ֔ים H7227 of many כְּטַל֙ H2919 as a dew מֵאֵ֣ת H853 יְהוָ֔ה H3068 from the LORD כִּרְבִיבִ֖ים H7241 as the showers עֲלֵי־ H5921 on עֵ֑שֶׂב H6212 upon the grass אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 Which לֹֽא־ H3808 not יְקַוֶּה֙ H6960 that tarrieth לְאִ֔ישׁ H376 not for man וְלֹ֥א H3808 Or יְיַחֵ֖ל H3176 nor waiteth לִבְנֵ֥י H1121 for the sons אָדָֽם׃ H120 of men

⁸ וְהָיָה֩ H1961 become שְׁאֵרִ֨ית H7611 And the remnant יַעֲקֹ֜ב H3290 of Jacob בַּגּוֹיִ֗ם H1471 shall be among the Gentiles בְּקֶ֙רֶב֙ H7130 in the midst עַמִּ֣ים H5971 people רַבִּ֔ים H7227 of many כְּאַרְיֵה֙ H738 as a lion בְּבַהֲמ֣וֹת H929 among the beasts יַ֔עַר H3293 of the forest כִּכְפִ֖יר H3715 as a young lion בְּעֶדְרֵי־ H5739 among the flocks צֹ֑אן H6629 of sheep אֲשֶׁ֧ר H834 Which אִם H518 if עָבַ֛ר H5674 who if he go through וְרָמַ֥ס H7429 both treadeth down וְטָרַ֖ף H2963 and teareth in pieces וְאֵ֥ין H369 and there מַצִּֽיל׃ H5337 and none can deliver

⁹ תָּרֹ֥ם H7311 shall be lifted up יָדְךָ֖ H3027 Thine hand עַל־ H5921 against צָרֶ֑יךָ H6862 upon thine adversaries וְכָל־ H3605 and all אֹיְבֶ֖יךָ H341 and all thine enemies יִכָּרֵֽתוּ׃ H3772 shall be cut off פ

¹⁰ וְהָיָ֤ה H1961 become בַיּוֹם־ H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַהוּא֙ H1931 he נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י H3772 that I will cut off סוּסֶ֖יךָ H5483 thy horses מִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָ H7130 out of the midst וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖י H6 of thee and I will destroy מַרְכְּבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ H4818 thy chariots

¹¹ וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י H3772 And I will cut off עָרֵ֣י H5892 the cities אַרְצֶ֑ךָ H776 of thy land וְהָרַסְתִּ֖י H2040 and throw down כָּל־ H3605 all מִבְצָרֶֽיךָ׃ H4013 all thy strong holds

¹² וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י H3772 And I will cut off כְשָׁפִ֖ים H3785 witchcrafts מִיָּדֶ֑ךָ H3027 out of thine hand וּֽמְעוֹנְנִ֖ים H6049 and thou shalt have no soothsayers לֹ֥א H3808 no יִֽהְיוּ־ H1961 will have לָֽךְ׃ H0

¹³ וְהִכְרַתִּ֧י H3772 also will I cut off פְסִילֶ֛יךָ H6456 Thy graven images וּמַצֵּבוֹתֶ֖יךָ H4676 and thy standing images מִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָ H7130 out of the midst וְלֹֽא־ H3808 you will no תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה H7812 of thee and thou shalt no more worship ע֖וֹד H5750 longer לְמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה H4639 the work יָדֶֽיךָ׃ H3027 of thine hands

¹⁴ וְנָתַשְׁתִּ֥י H5428 And I will pluck up אֲשֵׁירֶ֖יךָ H842 thy groves מִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָ H7130 out of the midst וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֖י H8045 of thee so will I destroy עָרֶֽיךָ׃ H5892 your cities

¹⁵ וְעָשִׂ֜יתִי H6213 And I will execute בְּאַ֧ף H639 in anger וּבְחֵמָ֛ה H2534 and fury נָקָ֖ם H5359 vengeance אֶת־ H853 הַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 upon the heathen אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which לֹ֥א H3808 have not שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃ H8085 such as they have not heard ס

¹ שִׁמְעוּ־ H8085 Hear נָ֕א H4994 now אֵ֥ת H853 אֲשֶׁר־ H834 what יְהוָ֖ה H3068 ye now what the LORD אֹמֵ֑ר H559 saith ק֚וּם H6965 Arise רִ֣יב H7378 contend אֶת־ H854 before הֶהָרִ֔ים H2022 thou before the mountains וְתִשְׁמַ֥עְנָה H8085 hear הַגְּבָע֖וֹת H1389 and let the hills קוֹלֶֽךָ׃ H6963 thy voice

² שִׁמְע֤וּ H8085 Hear הָרִים֙ H2022 ye O mountains אֶת־ H853 רִ֣יב H7379 controversy יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God וְהָאֵתָנִ֖ים H386 and ye strong מֹ֣סְדֵי H4146 foundations אָ֑רֶץ H776 of the earth כִּ֣י H3588 Because רִ֤יב H7379 hath a controversy לַֽיהוָה֙ H3069 God עִם־ H5973 against עַמּ֔וֹ H5971 with his people וְעִם־ H5973 against יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 with Israel יִתְוַכָּֽח׃ H3198 and he will plead

³ עַמִּ֛י H5971 O my people מֶה־ H4100 what עָשִׂ֥יתִי H6213 what have I done לְךָ֖ H0 וּמָ֣ה H4100 and how הֶלְאֵתִ֑יךָ H3811 unto thee? and wherein have I wearied עֲנֵ֥ה H6030 thee? testify בִֽי׃ H0

⁴ כִּ֤י H3588 Indeed הֶעֱלִתִ֙יךָ֙ H5927 For I brought thee up מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 out of the land מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 of Egypt וּמִבֵּ֥ית H1004 thee out of the house עֲבָדִ֖ים H5650 of servants פְּדִיתִ֑יךָ H6299 and redeemed וָאֶשְׁלַ֣ח H7971 and I sent לְפָנֶ֔יךָ H6440 before אֶת־ H853 מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 thee Moses אַהֲרֹ֥ן H175 Aaron וּמִרְיָֽם׃ H4813 and Miriam

⁵ עַמִּ֗י H5971 O my people זְכָר־ H2142 remember נָא֙ H4994 now מַה־ H4100 What יָּעַ֗ץ H3289 consulted בָּלָק֙ H1111 now what Balak מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 king מוֹאָ֔ב H4124 of Moab וּמֶה־ H4100 and what עָנָ֥ה H6030 answered אֹת֖וֹ H853 בִּלְעָ֣ם H1109 and what Balaam בֶּן־ H1121 the son בְּע֑וֹר H1160 of Beor מִן־ H4480 at הַשִּׁטִּים֙ H7851 him from Shittim עַד־ H5704 against הַגִּלְגָּ֔ל H1537 unto Gilgal לְמַ֕עַן H4616 So דַּ֖עַת H3045 that ye may know צִדְק֥וֹת H6666 the righteousness יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

⁶ בַּמָּה֙ H4100 what אֲקַדֵּ֣ם H6923 Wherewith shall I come before יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD אִכַּ֖ף H3721 bow לֵאלֹהֵ֣י H430 the God מָר֑וֹם H4791 myself before the high הַאֲקַדְּמֶ֣נּוּ H6923 come בְעוֹל֔וֹת H5930 him with burnt offerings בַּעֲגָלִ֖ים H5695 with calves בְּנֵ֥י H1121 With שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 of a year

¹¹ הַאֶזְכֶּ֖ה H2135 Shall I count pure בְּמֹ֣אזְנֵי H3976 balances רֶ֑שַׁע H7562 with the wicked וּבְכִ֖יס H3599 and with the bag אַבְנֵ֥י H68 stones מִרְמָֽה׃ H4820 of deceitful

⁷ וַאֲנִי֙ H589 I בַּיהוָ֣ה H3068 unto the LORD אֲצַפֶּ֔ה H6822 Therefore I will look אוֹחִ֖ילָה H3176 I will wait לֵאלֹהֵ֣י H430 for the God יִשְׁעִ֑י H3468 of my salvation יִשְׁמָעֵ֖נִי H8085 will hear אֱלֹהָֽי׃ H430 my God

¹⁰ וְתֵרֶ֤א H7200 shall see אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ H341 Then mine enemy וּתְכַסֶּ֣הָ H3680 shall cover בוּשָׁ֔ה H955 and shame הָאֹמְרָ֣ה H559 her which said אֵלַ֔י H413 about אַיּ֖וֹ H346 where יְהוָ֣ה H3068 unto me Where is the LORD אֱלֹהָ֑יִךְ H430 angels עֵינַי֙ H5869 affliction תִּרְאֶ֣ינָּה H7200 shall behold בָּ֔הּ H0 עַתָּ֛ה H6258 time תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 become לְמִרְמָ֖ס H4823 her now shall she be trodden down כְּטִ֥יט H2916 as the mire חוּצֽוֹת׃ H2351 of the streets

¹³ וְהָיְתָ֥ה H1961 will become הָאָ֛רֶץ H776 Notwithstanding the land לִשְׁמָמָ֖ה H8077 shall be desolate עַל־ H5921 because יֹֽשְׁבֶ֑יהָ H3427 because of them that dwell מִפְּרִ֖י H6529 therein for the fruit מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ H4611 of their doings ס

¹⁴ רְעֵ֧ה H7462 Feed עַמְּךָ֣ H5971 thy people בְשִׁבְטֶ֗ךָ H7626 with thy rod צֹ֚אן H6629 the flock נַֽחֲלָתֶ֔ךָ H5159 of thine heritage שֹׁכְנִ֣י H7931 which dwell לְבָדָ֔ד H910 solitarily יַ֖עַר H3293 the wood בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 in the midst כַּרְמֶ֑ל H3760 of Carmel יִרְע֥וּ H7462 let them feed בָשָׁ֛ן H1316 Bashan וְגִלְעָ֖ד H1568 and Gilead כִּימֵ֥י H3117 as in the days עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 of old

¹⁵ כִּימֵ֥י H3117 According to the days צֵאתְךָ֖ H3318 of thy coming מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 out of the land מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 of Egypt אַרְאֶ֖נּוּ H7200 will I shew נִפְלָאֽוֹת׃ H6381 unto him marvellous

¹⁶ יִרְא֤וּ H7200 shall see גוֹיִם֙ H1471 The nations וְיֵבֹ֔שׁוּ H954 and be confounded מִכֹּ֖ל H3605 of all גְּבֽוּרָתָ֑ם H1369 at all their might יָשִׂ֤ימוּ H7760 they shall lay יָד֙ H3027 hand עַל־ H5921 on פֶּ֔ה H6310 upon mouth אָזְנֵיהֶ֖ם H241 their ears תֶּחֱרַֽשְׁנָה׃ H2790 shall be deaf

¹⁸ מִי־ H4310 Who אֵ֣ל H410 Who a God כָּמ֗וֹךָ H3644 like נֹשֵׂ֤א H5375 like unto thee that pardoneth עָוֹן֙ H5771 iniquity וְעֹבֵ֣ר H5674 and passeth by עַל־ H5921 over פֶּ֔שַׁע H6588 the transgression לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית H7611 of the remnant נַחֲלָת֑וֹ H5159 heritage לֹא־ H3808 not הֶחֱזִ֤יק H2388 aid לָעַד֙ H5703 for ever אַפּ֔וֹ H639 not his anger כִּֽי־ H3588 Because חָפֵ֥ץ H2654 because he delighteth חֶ֖סֶד H2617 mercy הֽוּא׃ H1931 He

¹⁹ יָשׁ֣וּב H7725 He will turn again יְרַֽחֲמֵ֔נוּ H7355 he will have compassion יִכְבֹּ֖שׁ H3533 upon us he will subdue עֲוֹֽנֹתֵ֑ינוּ H5771 our iniquities וְתַשְׁלִ֛יךְ H7993 and thou wilt cast בִּמְצֻל֥וֹת H4688 into the depths יָ֖ם H3220 of the sea כָּל־ H3605 all חַטֹּאותָֽם׃ H2403 all their sins
