¹ דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 The words עָמ֔וֹס H5986 of Amos אֲשֶׁר־ H834 who הָיָ֥ה H1961 was among בַנֹּקְדִ֖ים H5349 who was among the herdmen מִתְּק֑וֹעַ H8620 of Tekoa אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 which חָזָ֨ה H2372 which he saw עַל־ H5921 concerning יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל H3478 concerning Israel בִּימֵ֣י ׀ H3117 in the days עֻזִּיָּ֣ה H5818 of Uzziah מֶֽלֶךְ־ H4428 king יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 of Judah וּבִימֵ֞י H3117 and in the days יָרָבְעָ֤ם H3379 of Jeroboam בֶּן־ H1121 the son יוֹאָשׁ֙ H3101 of Joash מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 king יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 of Israel שְׁנָתַ֖יִם H8141 two years לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 before הָרָֽעַשׁ׃ H7494 the earthquake

² וַיֹּאמַ֓ר ׀ H559 And he said יְהוָה֙ H3068 The LORD מִצִּיּ֣וֹן H6726 from Zion יִשְׁאָ֔ג H7580 will roar וּמִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 from Jerusalem יִתֵּ֣ן H5414 and utter קוֹל֑וֹ H6963 his voice וְאָֽבְלוּ֙ H56 shall mourn נְא֣וֹת H4999 and the habitations הָרֹעִ֔ים H7462 of the shepherds וְיָבֵ֖שׁ H3001 shall wither רֹ֥אשׁ H7218 and the top הַכַּרְמֶֽל׃ H3760 of Carmel פ

³ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions דַמֶּ֔שֶׂק H1834 of Damascus וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַל־ H5921 its Because דּוּשָׁ֛ם H1758 thereof because they have threshed בַּחֲרֻצ֥וֹת H2742 with threshing instruments הַבַּרְזֶ֖ל H1270 of iron אֶת־ H853 הַגִּלְעָֽד׃ H1568 Gilead

⁴ וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי H7971 But I will send אֵ֖שׁ H784 a fire בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 into the house חֲזָאֵ֑ל H2371 of Hazael וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 which shall devour אַרְמְנ֥וֹת H759 the palaces בֶּן־ H0 הֲדָֽד׃ H1130 of Benhadad

⁵ וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ H7665 I will break בְּרִ֣יחַ H1280 also the bar דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק H1834 of Damascus וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י H3772 and cut off יוֹשֵׁב֙ H3427 the inhabitant מִבִּקְעַת־ H1237 from the plain אָ֔וֶן H206 of Aven וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ H8551 and him that holdeth שֵׁ֖בֶט H7626 the sceptre מִבֵּ֣ית H1004 from the house עֶ֑דֶן H5730 delicate וְגָל֧וּ H1540 shall go into captivity עַם־ H5971 and the people אֲרָ֛ם H758 of Syria קִ֖ירָה H7024 unto Kir אָמַ֥ר H559 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD פ

⁶ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions עַזָּ֔ה H5804 of Gaza וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַל־ H5921 its Because הַגְלוֹתָ֛ם H1540 thereof because they carried away captive גָּל֥וּת H1546 captivity שְׁלֵמָ֖ה H8003 the whole לְהַסְגִּ֥יר H5462 to deliver up לֶאֱדֽוֹם׃ H123 to Edom

⁷ וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי H7971 But I will send אֵ֖שׁ H784 a fire בְּחוֹמַ֣ת H2346 on the wall עַזָּ֑ה H5804 of Gaza וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 which shall devour אַרְמְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H759 the palaces

⁸ וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י H3772 And I will cut off יוֹשֵׁב֙ H3427 the inhabitant מֵֽאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד H795 from Ashdod וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ H8551 and him that holdeth שֵׁ֖בֶט H7626 the sceptre מֵֽאַשְׁקְל֑וֹן H831 from Ashkelon וַהֲשִׁיב֨וֹתִי H7725 and I will turn יָדִ֜י H3027 mine hand עַל־ H5921 upon עֶקְר֗וֹן H6138 against Ekron וְאָֽבְדוּ֙ H6 shall perish שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 and the remnant פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים H6430 of the Philistines אָמַ֖ר H559 saith אֲדֹנָ֥י H136 the Lord יְהוִֽה׃ H3069 GOD פ

⁹ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵי־ H6588 transgressions צֹ֔ר H6865 of Tyrus וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַֽל־ H5921 its Because הַסְגִּירָ֞ם H5462 thereof because they delivered up גָּל֤וּת H1546 captivity שְׁלֵמָה֙ H8003 the whole לֶאֱד֔וֹם H123 to Edom וְלֹ֥א H3808 and did not זָכְר֖וּ H2142 and remembered בְּרִ֥ית H1285 covenant אַחִֽים׃ H251 not the brotherly

¹⁰ וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי H7971 But I will send אֵ֖שׁ H784 a fire בְּח֣וֹמַת H2346 on the wall צֹ֑ר H6865 of Tyrus וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 which shall devour אַרְמְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H759 the palaces פ

¹¹ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions אֱד֔וֹם H123 of Edom וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַל־ H5921 its Because רָדְפ֨וֹ H7291 thereof because he did pursue בַחֶ֤רֶב H2719 with the sword אָחִיו֙ H251 his brother וְשִׁחֵ֣ת H7843 and did cast off רַחֲמָ֔יו H7356 all pity וַיִּטְרֹ֤ף H2963 did tear לָעַד֙ H5703 perpetually אַפּ֔וֹ H639 and his anger וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹ H5678 his wrath שְׁמָ֥רָה H8104 and he kept נֶֽצַח׃ H5331 for ever

¹² וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי H7971 But I will send אֵ֖שׁ H784 a fire בְּתֵימָ֑ן H8487 upon Teman וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 which shall devour אַרְמְנ֥וֹת H759 the palaces בָּצְרָֽה׃ H1224 of Bozrah פ

¹³ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions בְנֵֽי־ H1121 of the children עַמּ֔וֹן H5983 of Ammon וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַל־ H5921 its Because בִּקְעָם֙ H1234 thereof because they have ripped up הָר֣וֹת H2030 the women with child הַגִּלְעָ֔ד H1568 of Gilead לְמַ֖עַן H4616 order הַרְחִ֥יב H7337 that they might enlarge אֶת־ H853 גְּבוּלָֽם׃ H1366 their border

¹⁴ וְהִצַּ֤תִּי H3341 But I will kindle אֵשׁ֙ H784 a fire בְּחוֹמַ֣ת H2346 in the wall רַבָּ֔ה H7237 of Rabbah וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 and it shall devour אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ H759 the palaces בִּתְרוּעָה֙ H8643 thereof with shouting בְּי֣וֹם H3117 in the day מִלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 of battle בְּסַ֖עַר H5591 with a tempest בְּי֥וֹם H3117 in the day סוּפָֽה׃ H5492 of the whirlwind

¹⁵ וְהָלַ֥ךְ H1980 shall go מַלְכָּ֖ם H4428 And their king בַּגּוֹלָ֑ה H1473 into captivity ה֧וּא H1931 He וְשָׂרָ֛יו H8269 he and his princes יַחְדָּ֖ו H3162 together אָמַ֥ר H559 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD פ

¹ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions מוֹאָ֔ב H4124 of Moab וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַל־ H5921 its Because שָׂרְפ֛וֹ H8313 thereof because he burned עַצְמ֥וֹת H6106 the bones מֶֽלֶךְ־ H4428 of the king אֱד֖וֹם H123 of Edom לַשִּֽׂיד׃ H7875 into lime

² וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ H7971 But I will send אֵ֣שׁ H784 a fire בְּמוֹאָ֔ב H4124 upon Moab וְאָכְלָ֖ה H398 and it shall devour אַרְמְנ֣וֹת H759 the palaces הַקְּרִיּ֑וֹת H7152 of Kerioth וּמֵ֤ת H4191 shall die בְּשָׁאוֹן֙ H7588 with tumult מוֹאָ֔ב H4124 and Moab בִּתְרוּעָ֖ה H8643 with shouting בְּק֥וֹל H6963 with the sound שׁוֹפָֽר׃ H7782 of the trumpet

³ וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י H3772 And I will cut off שׁוֹפֵ֖ט H8199 the judge מִקִּרְבָּ֑הּ H7130 from the midst וְכָל־ H3605 all שָׂרֶ֛יהָ H8269 all the princes אֶהֱר֥וֹג H2026 thereof and will slay עִמּ֖וֹ H5973 with אָמַ֥ר H559 thereof with him saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD פ

⁴ כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus אָמַ֣ר H559 Thus saith יְהוָ֔ה H3069 God עַל־ H5921 its Because שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ H7969 For three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י H6588 transgressions יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah וְעַל־ H5921 its Because אַרְבָּעָ֖ה H702 and for four לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ H7725 I will not turn away עַֽל־ H5921 its Because מָאֳסָ֞ם H3988 thereof because they have despised אֶת־ H853 תּוֹרַ֣ת H8451 the law יְהוָ֗ה H3069 God וְחֻקָּיו֙ H2706 his commandments לֹ֣א H3808 not שָׁמָ֔רוּ H8104 and have not kept וַיַּתְעוּם֙ H8582 caused them to err כִּזְבֵיהֶ֔ם H3577 and their lies אֲשֶׁר־ H834 which הָלְכ֥וּ H1980 have walked אֲבוֹתָ֖ם H1 the which their fathers אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 after

⁷ הַשֹּׁאֲפִ֤ים H7602 That pant עַל־ H5921 after עֲפַר־ H6083 after the dust אֶ֙רֶץ֙ H776 of the earth בְּרֹ֣אשׁ H7218 on the head דַּלִּ֔ים H1800 of the poor וְדֶ֥רֶךְ H1870 the way עֲנָוִ֖ים H6035 of the meek יַטּ֑וּ H5186 and turn aside וְאִ֣ישׁ H376 and a man וְאָבִ֗יו H1 and his father יֵֽלְכוּ֙ H1980 resort אֶל־ H413 to הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ה H5291 in unto the maid לְמַ֥עַן H4616 order חַלֵּ֖ל H2490 to profane אֶת־ H853 שֵׁ֥ם H8034 name קָדְשִֽׁי׃ H6944 my holy

⁸ וְעַל־ H5921 on בְּגָדִ֤ים H899 upon clothes חֲבֻלִים֙ H2254 laid to pledge יַטּ֔וּ H5186 And they lay down אֵ֖צֶל H681 by כָּל־ H3605 every מִזְבֵּ֑חַ H4196 every altar וְיֵ֤ין H3196 the wine עֲנוּשִׁים֙ H6064 of the condemned יִשְׁתּ֔וּ H8354 and they drink בֵּ֖ית H1004 the house אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ H430 of their god

⁹ וְאָ֨נֹכִ֜י H595 I הִשְׁמַ֤דְתִּי H8045 Yet destroyed אֶת־ H853 הָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ H567 I the Amorite מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם H6440 before אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 them כְּגֹ֤בַהּ H1363 them whose height אֲרָזִים֙ H730 of the cedars גָּבְה֔וֹ H1363 like the height וְחָסֹ֥ן H2634 and he strong ה֖וּא H1931 he כָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑ים H437 as the oaks וָאַשְׁמִ֤יד H8045 yet I destroyed פִּרְיוֹ֙ H6529 his fruit מִמַּ֔עַל H4605 from above וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יו H8328 and his roots מִתָּֽחַת׃ H8478 Thahash

¹⁰ וְאָנֹכִ֛י H595 I הֶעֱלֵ֥יתִי H5927 Also I brought you up אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 from the land מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 of Egypt וָאוֹלֵ֨ךְ H1980 led אֶתְכֶ֤ם H853 בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ H4057 through the wilderness אַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 you forty שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 years לָרֶ֖שֶׁת H3423 to possess אֶת־ H853 אֶ֥רֶץ H776 the land הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃ H567 of the Amorite

¹¹ וָאָקִ֤ים H6965 And I raised up מִבְּנֵיכֶם֙ H1121 of your sons לִנְבִיאִ֔ים H5030 for prophets וּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶ֖ם H970 and of your young men לִנְזִרִ֑ים H5139 for Nazarites הַאַ֥ף H637 so אֵֽין־ H369 else זֹ֛את H2063 O בְּנֵ֥י H1121 not even thus O ye children יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 Israel נְאֻם־ H5002 said יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

¹² וַתַּשְׁק֥וּ H8248 to drink אֶת־ H853 הַנְּזִרִ֖ים H5139 But ye gave the Nazarites יָ֑יִן H3196 wine וְעַל־ H5921 and הַנְּבִיאִים֙ H5030 the prophets צִוִּיתֶ֣ם H6680 and commanded לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 saying לֹ֖א H3808 not תִּנָּבְאֽוּ׃ H5012 Prophesy

¹³ הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 Behold אָנֹכִ֥י H595 I מֵעִ֖יק H5781 Behold I am pressed תַּחְתֵּיכֶ֑ם H8478 beneath כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 after תָּעִיק֙ H5781 is pressed הָעֲגָלָ֔ה H5699 under you as a cart הַֽמְלֵאָ֥ה H4395 fruit לָ֖הּ H0 עָמִֽיר׃ H5995 of sheaves

¹⁴ וְאָבַ֤ד H6 shall perish מָנוֹס֙ H4498 Therefore the flight מִקָּ֔ל H7031 from the swift וְחָזָ֖ק H2389 and the strong לֹא־ H3808 Nor יְאַמֵּ֣ץ H553 shall not strengthen כֹּח֑וֹ H3581 his force וְגִבּ֖וֹר H1368 neither shall the mighty לֹא־ H3808 Nor יְמַלֵּ֥ט H4422 deliver נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 himself

¹⁵ וְתֹפֵ֤שׂ H8610 that handleth הַקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙ H7198 the bow לֹ֣א H3808 Nor יַעֲמֹ֔ד H5975 Neither shall he stand וְקַ֥ל H7031 and swift בְּרַגְלָ֖יו H7272 of foot לֹ֣א H3808 Nor יְמַלֵּ֑ט H4422 shall not deliver וְרֹכֵ֣ב H7392 neither shall he that rideth הַסּ֔וּס H5483 the horse לֹ֥א H3808 Nor יְמַלֵּ֖ט H4422 deliver נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 himself

¹⁶ וְאַמִּ֥יץ H533 strong לִבּ֖וֹ H3820 care for בַּגִּבּוֹרִ֑ים H1368 among the mighty עָר֛וֹם H6174 naked יָנ֥וּס H5127 shall flee away בַּיּוֹם־ H3117 in that day הַה֖וּא H1931 he נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD פ

¹ שִׁמְע֞וּ H8085 Hear אֶת־ H853 הַדָּבָ֣ר H1697 this word הַזֶּ֗ה H2088 this אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which דִּבֶּ֧ר H1696 hath spoken יְהוָ֛ה H3068 that the LORD עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם H5921 against בְּנֵ֣י H1121 against you O children יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 of Israel עַ֚ל H5921 against כָּל־ H3605 the entire הַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֔ה H4940 against the whole family אֲשֶׁ֧ר H834 which הֶעֱלֵ֛יתִי H5927 which I brought up מֵאֶ֥רֶץ H776 from the land מִצְרַ֖יִם H4714 of Egypt לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 saying

² רַ֚ק H7535 but אֶתְכֶ֣ם H853 יָדַ֔עְתִּי H3045 You only have I known מִכֹּ֖ל H3605 all מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת H4940 of all the families הָאֲדָמָ֑ה H127 of the earth עַל־ H5921 and כֵּן֙ H3651 after that אֶפְקֹ֣ד H6485 therefore I will punish עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם H5921 and אֵ֖ת H853 כָּל־ H3605 for all עֲוֹנֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ H5771 you for all your iniquities

³ הֲיֵלְכ֥וּ H1980 walk שְׁנַ֖יִם H8147 Can two יַחְדָּ֑ו H3162 together בִּלְתִּ֖י H1115 except אִם־ H518 lo נוֹעָֽדוּ׃ H3259 they be agreed

⁴ הֲיִשְׁאַ֤ג H7580 roar אַרְיֵה֙ H738 Will a lion בַּיַּ֔עַר H3293 in the forest וְטֶ֖רֶף H2964 leaf אֵ֣ין H369 has ל֑וֹ H0 הֲיִתֵּ֨ן H5414 add כְּפִ֤יר H3715 lion קוֹלוֹ֙ H6963 aloud מִמְּעֹ֣נָת֔וֹ H4585 of his den בִּלְתִּ֖י H1115 because אִם־ H518 lo לָכָֽד׃ H3920 if he have taken

⁵ הֲתִפֹּ֤ל H5307 fall צִפּוֹר֙ H6833 Can a bird עַל־ H5921 into פַּ֣ח H6341 in a snare הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 upon the earth וּמוֹקֵ֖שׁ H4170 where no gin אֵ֣ין H369 there לָ֑הּ H0 הֲיַֽעֲלֶה־ H5927 for him? shall take up פַּח֙ H6341 a snare מִן־ H4480 from הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה H127 from the earth וְלָכ֖וֹד H3920 and have taken לֹ֥א H3808 nothing יִלְכּֽוֹד׃ H3920 nothing at all

⁶ אִם־ H518 If יִתָּקַ֤ע H8628 be blown שׁוֹפָר֙ H7782 Shall a trumpet בְּעִ֔יר H5892 in the city וְעָ֖ם H5971 and the people לֹ֣א H3808 not יֶחֱרָ֑דוּ H2729 not be afraid אִם־ H518 If תִּהְיֶ֤ה H1961 occurs רָעָה֙ H7451 ? shall there be evil בְּעִ֔יר H5892 in a city וַיהוָ֖ה H3068 and the LORD לֹ֥א H3808 not עָשָֽׂה׃ H6213 hath not done

⁷ כִּ֣י H3588 Surely לֹ֧א H3808 not יַעֲשֶׂ֛ה H6213 will do אֲדֹנָ֥י H136 Surely the Lord יְהוִ֖ה H3069 GOD דָּבָ֑ר H1697 nothing כִּ֚י H3588 Surely אִם־ H518 lo גָּלָ֣ה H1540 but he revealeth סוֹד֔וֹ H5475 his secret אֶל־ H413 to his עֲבָדָ֖יו H5650 unto his servants הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ H5030 the prophets

⁹ הַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ H8085 Publish עַל־ H5921 on אַרְמְנ֣וֹת H759 in the palaces בְּאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד H795 at Ashdod וְעַֽל־ H5921 and on אַרְמְנ֖וֹת H759 and in the palaces בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 in the land מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 of Egypt וְאִמְר֗וּ H559 and say הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ H622 Assemble עַל־ H5921 on הָרֵ֣י H2022 yourselves upon the mountains שֹׁמְר֔וֹן H8111 of Samaria וּרְא֞וּ H7200 and behold מְהוּמֹ֤ת H4103 tumults רַבּוֹת֙ H7227 the great בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ H8432 in the midst וַעֲשׁוּקִ֖ים H6217 thereof and the oppressed בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃ H7130 in the midst

¹⁰ וְלֹֽא־ H3808 not יָדְע֥וּ H3045 For they know עֲשׂוֹת־ H6213 not to do נְכֹחָ֖ה H5229 right נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֑ה H3068 the LORD הָאֽוֹצְרִ֛ים H686 who store חָמָ֥ס H2555 up violence וָשֹׁ֖ד H7701 and robbery בְּאַרְמְנֽוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ H759 in their palaces פ

¹⁴ כִּ֗י H3588 on בְּי֛וֹם H3117 That in the day פָּקְדִ֥י H6485 that I shall visit פִשְׁעֵֽי־ H6588 the transgressions יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 of Israel עָלָ֑יו H5921 and וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙ H6485 upon him I will also visit עַל־ H5921 and מִזְבְּח֣וֹת H4196 the altars בֵּֽית־ H0 אֵ֔ל H1008 of Bethel וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙ H1438 shall be cut off קַרְנ֣וֹת H7161 and the horns הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ H4196 of the altar וְנָפְל֖וּ H5307 and fall לָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 to the ground

⁴ בֹּ֤אוּ H935 Come בֵֽית־ H0 אֵל֙ H1008 to Bethel וּפִשְׁע֔וּ H6586 and transgress הַגִּלְגָּ֖ל H1537 at Gilgal הַרְבּ֣וּ H7235 multiply לִפְשֹׁ֑עַ H6586 transgression וְהָבִ֤יאוּ H935 and bring לַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ H1242 every morning זִבְחֵיכֶ֔ם H2077 your sacrifices לִשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת H7969 after three יָמִ֖ים H3117 years מַעְשְׂרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ H4643 your tithes

⁸ וְנָע֡וּ H5128 wandered שְׁתַּיִם֩ H8147 So two שָׁלֹ֨שׁ H7969 three עָרִ֜ים H5892 cities אֶל־ H413 about עִ֥יר H5892 city אַחַ֛ת H259 unto one לִשְׁתּ֥וֹת H8354 to drink מַ֖יִם H4325 water וְלֹ֣א H3808 not יִשְׂבָּ֑עוּ H7646 but they were not satisfied וְלֹֽא־ H3808 have not שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם H7725 yet have ye not returned עָדַ֖י H5704 to Me נְאֻם־ H5002 unto me saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

⁹ הִכֵּ֣יתִי H5221 I have smitten אֶתְכֶם֮ H853 בַּשִּׁדָּפ֣וֹן H7711 you with blasting וּבַיֵּרָקוֹן֒ H3420 and mildew הַרְבּ֨וֹת H7235 increased גַּנּוֹתֵיכֶ֧ם H1593 when your gardens וְכַרְמֵיכֶ֛ם H3754 and your vineyards וּתְאֵנֵיכֶ֥ם H8384 and your fig trees וְזֵיתֵיכֶ֖ם H2132 and your olive trees יֹאכַ֣ל H398 devoured הַגָּזָ֑ם H1501 the palmerworm וְלֹֽא־ H3808 have not שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם H7725 yet have ye not returned עָדַ֖י H5704 to Me נְאֻם־ H5002 unto me saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD ס

⁶ דִּרְשׁ֥וּ H1875 Seek אֶת־ H853 יְהוָ֖ה H3069 God וִֽחְי֑וּ H2421 and ye shall live פֶּן־ H6435 Or יִצְלַ֤ח H6743 lest he break out כָּאֵשׁ֙ H784 like fire בֵּ֣ית H1004 in the house יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 of Joseph וְאָכְלָ֥ה H398 and devour וְאֵין־ H369 none מְכַבֶּ֖ה H3518 and none to quench לְבֵֽית־ H0 אֵֽל׃ H1008 in Bethel

⁷ הַהֹפְכִ֥ים H2015 Ye who turn לְלַעֲנָ֖ה H3939 to wormwood מִשְׁפָּ֑ט H4941 judgment וּצְדָקָ֖ה H6666 righteousness לָאָ֥רֶץ H776 in the earth הִנִּֽיחוּ׃ H3240 and leave off

¹⁹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 after יָנ֥וּס H5127 did flee אִישׁ֙ H376 As if a man מִפְּנֵ֣י H6440 from הָאֲרִ֔י H738 a lion וּפְגָע֖וֹ H6293 met הַדֹּ֑ב H1677 and a bear וּבָ֣א H935 him or went הַבַּ֔יִת H1004 into the house וְסָמַ֤ךְ H5564 and leaned יָדוֹ֙ H3027 his hand עַל־ H5921 against הַקִּ֔יר H7023 on the wall וּנְשָׁכ֖וֹ H5391 bit הַנָּחָֽשׁ׃ H5175 and a serpent

²¹ שָׂנֵ֥אתִי H8130 I hate מָאַ֖סְתִּי H3988 I despise חַגֵּיכֶ֑ם H2282 your feast days וְלֹ֥א H3808 Nor אָרִ֖יחַ H7306 and I will not smell בְּעַצְּרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ H6116 in your solemn assemblies

²² כִּ֣י H3588 Even אִם־ H518 though תַּעֲלוּ־ H5927 Though ye offer לִ֥י H0 עֹל֛וֹת H5930 me burnt offerings וּמִנְחֹתֵיכֶ֖ם H4503 and your meat offerings לֹ֣א H3808 I will not אֶרְצֶ֑ה H7521 I will not accept וְשֶׁ֥לֶם H8002 the peace offerings מְרִיאֵיכֶ֖ם H4806 of your fat beasts לֹ֥א H3808 and I אַבִּֽיט׃ H5027 neither will I regard

⁹ וְנָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ H8074 shall be desolate בָּמ֣וֹת H1116 And the high places יִשְׂחָ֔ק H3446 of Isaac וּמִקְדְּשֵׁ֥י H4720 and the sanctuaries יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 of Israel יֶחֱרָ֑בוּ H2717 shall be laid waste וְקַמְתִּ֛י H6965 and I will rise עַל־ H5921 against בֵּ֥ית H1004 against the house יָרָבְעָ֖ם H3379 of Jeroboam בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ H2719 with the sword פ

¹⁰ וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח H7971 sent אֲמַצְיָה֙ H558 Then Amaziah כֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 the priest בֵּֽית־ H0 אֵ֔ל H1008 of Bethel אֶל־ H413 to יָרָבְעָ֥ם H3379 to Jeroboam מֶֽלֶךְ־ H4428 king יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 of Israel לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 saying קָשַׁ֨ר H7194 hath conspired עָלֶ֜יךָ H5921 against עָמ֗וֹס H5986 Amos בְּקֶ֙רֶב֙ H7130 against thee in the midst בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 of Israel לֹא־ H3808 is not תוּכַ֣ל H3201 is not able הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 the land לְהָכִ֖יל H3557 to bear אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all דְּבָרָֽיו׃ H1697 all his words

¹ כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus הִרְאַ֖נִי H7200 shewed אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 Thus hath the Lord יְהוִ֑ה H3069 GOD וְהִנֵּ֖ה H2009 and behold כְּל֥וּב H3619 unto me and behold a basket קָֽיִץ׃ H7019 of summer fruit

² וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 And he said מָֽה־ H4100 What אַתָּ֤ה H859 you רֹאֶה֙ H7200 what seest עָמ֔וֹס H5986 Amos וָאֹמַ֖ר H559 thou? ⁵ לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 Saying מָתַ֞י H4970 When יַעֲבֹ֤ר H5674 be gone הַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ H2320 When will the new moon וְנַשְׁבִּ֣ירָה H7666 that we may sell שֶּׁ֔בֶר H7668 grain וְהַשַּׁבָּ֖ת H7676 and the sabbath וְנִפְתְּחָה־ H6605 that we may set forth בָּ֑ר H1250 wheat לְהַקְטִ֤ין H6994 small אֵיפָה֙ H374 making the ephah וּלְהַגְדִּ֣יל H1431 great שֶׁ֔קֶל H8255 and the shekel וּלְעַוֵּ֖ת H5791 and falsifying מֹאזְנֵ֥י H3976 the balances מִרְמָֽה׃ H4820 dishonest

⁶ לִקְנ֤וֹת H7069 That we may buy בַּכֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 for silver דַּלִּ֔ים H1800 the poor וְאֶבְי֖וֹן H34 and the needy בַּעֲב֣וּר H5668 because of נַעֲלָ֑יִם H5275 for a pair of shoes וּמַפַּ֥ל H4651 the refuse בַּ֖ר H1250 corn נַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ H7666 and sell

⁷ נִשְׁבַּ֥ע H7650 hath sworn יְהוָ֖ה H3068 The LORD בִּגְא֣וֹן H1347 by the excellency יַעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 of Jacob אִם־ H518 Indeed אֶשְׁכַּ֥ח H7911 forget לָנֶ֖צַח H5331 Surely I will never כָּל־ H3605 any מַעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃ H4639 any of their works

⁸ הַ֤עַל H5921 Because זֹאת֙ H2063 likewise לֹֽא־ H3808 not תִרְגַּ֣ז H7264 tremble הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 Shall not the land וְאָבַ֖ל H56 for this and every one mourn כָּל־ H3605 and everyone יוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 that dwelleth בָּ֑הּ H0 וְעָלְתָ֤ה H5927 therein? and it shall rise up כָאֹר֙ H2975 wholly as a flood כֻּלָּ֔הּ H3605 and everyone וְנִגְרְשָׁ֥ה H1644 and it shall be cast out <וְנִשְׁקָה כ> (וְנִשְׁקְעָ֖ה H8257 make deep ק) כִּיא֥וֹר H2975 the Nile מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 of Egypt ס

⁹ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ H1961 will come בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֗וּא H1931 he נְאֻם֙ H5002 saith אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 the Lord יְהוִ֔ה H3069 GOD וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י H935 to go down הַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁ H8121 that I will cause the sun בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם H6672 at noon וְהַחֲשַׁכְתִּ֥י H2821 and I will darken לָאָ֖רֶץ H776 the earth בְּי֥וֹם H3117 day אֽוֹר׃ H216 in the clear

¹⁰ וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י H2015 And I will turn חַגֵּיכֶ֜ם H2282 your feasts לְאֵ֗בֶל H60 into mourning וְכָל־ H3605 and all שִֽׁירֵיכֶם֙ H7892 and all your songs לְקִינָ֔ה H7015 into lamentation וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֤י H5927 and I will bring up עַל־ H5921 on כָּל־ H3605 everyone's מָתְנַ֙יִם֙ H4975 upon all loins שָׂ֔ק H8242 sackcloth וְעַל־ H5921 on כָּל־ H3605 every רֹ֖אשׁ H7218 upon every head קָרְחָ֑ה H7144 and baldness וְשַׂמְתִּ֙יהָ֙ H7760 and I will make כְּאֵ֣בֶל H60 it as the mourning יָחִ֔יד H3173 of an only וְאַחֲרִיתָ֖הּ H319 and the end כְּי֥וֹם H3117 day מָֽר׃ H4751 thereof as a bitter

¹¹ הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ H2009 Behold יָמִ֣ים H3117 Behold the days בָּאִ֗ים H935 come נְאֻם֙ H5002 saith אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 the Lord יְהוִ֔ה H3069 GOD וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּ֥י H7971 that I will send רָעָ֖ב H7458 a famine בָּאָ֑רֶץ H776 in the land לֹֽא־ H3808 Not רָעָ֤ב H7458 not a famine לַלֶּ֙חֶם֙ H3899 of bread וְלֹֽא־ H3808 or צָמָ֣א H6772 nor a thirst לַמַּ֔יִם H4325 for water כִּ֣י H3588 for אִם־ H518 for לִשְׁמֹ֔עַ H8085 but of hearing אֵ֖ת H853 דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 the words יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of the LORD

¹² וְנָעוּ֙ H5128 And they shall wander מִיָּ֣ם H3220 from sea עַד־ H5704 against יָ֔ם H3220 to sea וּמִצָּפ֖וֹן H6828 and from the north וְעַד־ H5704 even מִזְרָ֑ח H4217 even to the east יְשֽׁוֹטְט֛וּ H7751 they shall run to and fro לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ H1245 to seek אֶת־ H853 דְּבַר־ H1697 the word יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD וְלֹ֥א H3808 they will not יִמְצָֽאוּ׃ H4672 and shall not find

¹³ בַּיּ֨וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֜וּא H1931 he תִּ֠תְעַלַּפְנָה H5968 faint הַבְּתוּלֹ֧ת H1330 virgins הַיָּפ֛וֹת H3303 shall the fair וְהַבַּחוּרִ֖ים H970 and young men בַּצָּמָֽא׃ H6772 for thirst

¹⁴ הַנִּשְׁבָּעִים֙ H7650 They that swear בְּאַשְׁמַ֣ת H819 by the sin שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן H8111 of Samaria וְאָמְר֗וּ H559 and say חֵ֤י H2416 liveth אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ H430 Thy god דָּ֔ן H1835 O Dan וְחֵ֖י H2416 liveth דֶּ֣רֶךְ H1870 and The manner בְּאֵֽר־ H0 שָׁ֑בַע H884 of Beersheba וְנָפְל֖וּ H5307 even they shall fall וְלֹא־ H3808 and not יָק֥וּמוּ H6965 and never rise up עֽוֹד׃ H5750 again ס

¹ רָאִ֨יתִי H7200 I saw אֶת־ H853 אֲדֹנָ֜י H136 the Lord נִצָּ֣ב H5324 standing עַֽל־ H5921 beside הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ H4196 upon the altar וַיֹּאמֶר֩ H559 and he said הַ֨ךְ H5221 Smite הַכַּפְתּ֜וֹר H3730 the lintel of the door וְיִרְעֲשׁ֣וּ H7493 may shake הַסִּפִּ֗ים H5592 that the posts וּבְצַ֙עַם֙ H1214 and cut בְּרֹ֣אשׁ H7218 them in the head כֻּלָּ֔ם H3605 all וְאַחֲרִיתָ֖ם H319 the last בַּחֶ֣רֶב H2719 of them with the sword אֶהֱרֹ֑ג H2026 all of them and I will slay לֹֽא־ H3808 have a יָנ֤וּס H5127 he that fleeth לָהֶם֙ H0 נָ֔ס H5127 of them shall not flee away וְלֹֽא־ H3808 not יִמָּלֵ֥ט H4422 of them shall not be delivered לָהֶ֖ם H0 פָּלִֽיט׃ H6412 and he that escapeth

² אִם־ H518 Though יַחְתְּר֣וּ H2864 Though they dig בִשְׁא֔וֹל H7585 into hell מִשָּׁ֖ם H8033 there יָדִ֣י H3027 thence shall mine hand תִקָּחֵ֑ם H3947 take וְאִֽם־ H518 and though יַעֲלוּ֙ H5927 them though they climb up הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 to heaven מִשָּׁ֖ם H8033 there אוֹרִידֵֽם׃ H3381 thence will I bring them down

³ וְאִם־ H518 Though יֵחָֽבְאוּ֙ H2244 And though they hide בְּרֹ֣אשׁ H7218 themselves in the top הַכַּרְמֶ֔ל H3760 of Carmel מִשָּׁ֥ם H8033 there אֲחַפֵּ֖שׂ H2664 I will search וּלְקַחְתִּ֑ים H3947 and take them out וְאִם־ H518 and though יִסָּ֨תְר֜וּ H5641 thence and though they be hid מִנֶּ֤גֶד H5048 from עֵינַי֙ H5869 from my sight בְּקַרְקַ֣ע H7172 in the bottom הַיָּ֔ם H3220 of the sea מִשָּׁ֛ם H8033 there אֲצַוֶּ֥ה H6680 thence will I command אֶת־ H853 הַנָּחָ֖שׁ H5175 the serpent וּנְשָׁכָֽם׃ H5391 and he shall bite

⁴ וְאִם־ H518 and though יֵלְכ֤וּ H1980 go בַשְּׁבִי֙ H7628 into captivity לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 before אֹֽיבֵיהֶ֔ם H341 their enemies מִשָּׁ֛ם H8033 there אֲצַוֶּ֥ה H6680 thence will I command אֶת־ H853 הַחֶ֖רֶב H2719 the sword וַהֲרָגָ֑תַם H2026 and it shall slay וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י H7760 them and I will set עֵינִ֧י H5869 mine eyes עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם H5921 against לְרָעָ֖ה H7451 upon them for evil וְלֹ֥א H3808 for לְטוֹבָֽה׃ H2896 and not for good

⁵ וַאדֹנָ֨י H136 And the Lord יְהוִ֜ה H3069 GOD הַצְּבָא֗וֹת H6635 of hosts הַנּוֹגֵ֤עַ H5060 he that toucheth בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 the land וַתָּמ֔וֹג H4127 and it shall melt וְאָבְל֖וּ H56 therein shall mourn כָּל־ H3605 and all י֣וֹשְׁבֵי H3427 and all that dwell בָ֑הּ H0 וְעָלְתָ֤ה H5927 and it shall rise up כַיְאֹר֙ H2975 wholly like a flood כֻּלָּ֔הּ H3605 and all וְשָׁקְעָ֖ה H8257 and shall be drowned כִּיאֹ֥ר H2975 as the flood מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 of Egypt

⁶ הַבּוֹנֶ֤ה H1129 he that buildeth בַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 in the heaven <מַעֲלֹותֹו כ> (מַעֲלֹותָ֔יו H4609 step ק) וַאֲגֻדָּת֖וֹ H92 his troop עַל־ H5921 over אֶ֣רֶץ H776 in the earth יְסָדָ֑הּ H3245 and hath founded הַקֹּרֵ֣א H7121 he that calleth לְמֵֽי־ H4325 for the waters הַיָּ֗ם H3220 of the sea וַֽיִּשְׁפְּכֵ֛ם H8210 and poureth them out עַל־ H5921 over פְּנֵ֥י H6440 upon the face הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 of the earth יְהוָ֥ה H3068 The LORD שְׁמֽוֹ׃ H8034 his name

⁷ הֲל֣וֹא H3808 not כִבְנֵי֩ H1121 ye not as children כֻשִׁיִּ֨ים H3569 of the Ethiopians אַתֶּ֥ם H859 you לִ֛י H0 בְּנֵ֥י H1121 unto me O children יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 Israel נְאֻם־ H5002 said יְהוָ֑ה H3068 the LORD הֲל֣וֹא H3808 not אֶת־ H853 יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 Israel הֶעֱלֵ֙יתִי֙ H5927 Have not I brought up מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 out of the land מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 of Egypt וּפְלִשְׁתִּיִּ֥ים H6430 and the Philistines מִכַּפְתּ֖וֹר H3731 from Caphtor וַאֲרָ֥ם H758 and the Syrians מִקִּֽיר׃ H7024 Kir

⁸ הִנֵּ֞ה H2009 Behold עֵינֵ֣י ׀ H5869 Behold the eyes אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 of the Lord יְהוִ֗ה H3069 GOD בַּמַּמְלָכָה֙ H4467 kingdom הַֽחַטָּאָ֔ה H2400 the sinful וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֣י H8045 and I will destroy אֹתָ֔הּ H853 מֵעַ֖ל H5921 from פְּנֵ֣י H6440 it from off the face הָאֲדָמָ֑ה H127 of the earth אֶ֗פֶס H657 saving כִּ֠י H3588 for לֹ֣א H3808 I will not הַשְׁמֵ֥יד H8045 that I will not utterly אַשְׁמִ֛יד H8045 destroy אֶת־ H853 בֵּ֥ית H1004 the house יַעֲקֹ֖ב H3290 of Jacob נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the LORD

⁹ כִּֽי־ H3588 For הִנֵּ֤ה H2009 behold אָֽנֹכִי֙ H595 I מְצַוֶּ֔ה H6680 For lo I will command וַהֲנִע֥וֹתִי H5128 and I will sift בְכָֽל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִ֖ם H1471 among all nations אֶת־ H853 בֵּ֣ית H1004 the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 of Israel כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 as יִנּ֙וֹעַ֙ H5128 like as is sifted בַּכְּבָרָ֔ה H3531 in a sieve וְלֹֽא־ H3808 not יִפּ֥וֹל H5307 fall צְר֖וֹר H6872 yet shall not the least grain אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 upon the earth

¹⁰ בַּחֶ֣רֶב H2719 by the sword יָמ֔וּתוּ H4191 shall die כֹּ֖ל H3605 All חַטָּאֵ֣י H2400 All the sinners עַמִּ֑י H5971 of my people הָאֹמְרִ֗ים H559 which say לֹֽא־ H3808 will not תַגִּ֧ישׁ H5066 shall not overtake וְתַקְדִּ֛ים H6923 nor prevent בַּעֲדֵ֖ינוּ H5704 against הָרָעָֽה׃ H7451 The evil

¹¹ בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 In that day הַה֔וּא H1931 I אָקִ֛ים H6965 will I raise up אֶת־ H853 סֻכַּ֥ת H5521 the tabernacle דָּוִ֖יד H1732 of David הַנֹּפֶ֑לֶת H5307 that is fallen וְגָדַרְתִּ֣י H1443 and close up אֶת־ H853 פִּרְצֵיהֶ֗ן H6556 the breaches וַהֲרִֽסֹתָיו֙ H2034 his ruins אָקִ֔ים H6965 thereof and I will raise up וּבְנִיתִ֖יהָ H1129 and I will build כִּימֵ֥י H3117 it as in the days עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 of old

¹² לְמַ֨עַן H4616 because of יִֽירְשׁ֜וּ H3423 That they may possess אֶת־ H853 שְׁאֵרִ֤ית H7611 the remnant אֱדוֹם֙ H123 of Edom וְכָל־ H3605 and all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 and of all the heathen אֲשֶׁר־ H834 who נִקְרָ֥א H7121 which are called שְׁמִ֖י H8034 by my name עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם H5921 and נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֖ה H3068 the LORD עֹ֥שֶׂה H6213 that doeth זֹּֽאת׃ H2063 likewise פ

¹³ הִנֵּ֨ה H2009 Behold יָמִ֤ים H3117 Behold the days בָּאִים֙ H935 come נְאֻם־ H5002 saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD וְנִגַּ֤שׁ H5066 shall overtake חוֹרֵשׁ֙ H2790 that the plowman בַּקֹּצֵ֔ר H7114 the reaper וְדֹרֵ֥ךְ H1869 and the treader עֲנָבִ֖ים H6025 of grapes בְּמֹשֵׁ֣ךְ H4900 him that soweth הַזָּ֑רַע H2233 seed וְהִטִּ֤יפוּ H5197 shall drop הֶֽהָרִים֙ H2022 and the mountains עָסִ֔יס H6071 sweet wine וְכָל־ H3605 and all הַגְּבָע֖וֹת H1389 and all the hills תִּתְמוֹגַֽגְנָה׃ H4127 shall melt

¹⁴ וְשַׁבְתִּי֮ H7725 And I will bring again אֶת־ H853 שְׁב֣וּת H7622 the captivity עַמִּ֣י H5971 of my people יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ H3478 of Israel וּבָנ֞וּ H1129 and they shall build עָרִ֤ים H5892 cities נְשַׁמּוֹת֙ H8074 the waste וְיָשָׁ֔בוּ H3427 and inhabit וְנָטְע֣וּ H5193 and they shall plant כְרָמִ֔ים H3754 vineyards וְשָׁת֖וּ H8354 and drink אֶת־ H853 יֵינָ֑ם H3196 the wine וְעָשׂ֣וּ H6213 thereof they shall also make גַנּ֔וֹת H1593 gardens וְאָכְל֖וּ H398 and eat אֶת־ H853 פְּרִיהֶֽם׃ H6529 the fruit

¹⁵ וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים H5193 And I will plant עַל־ H5921 on אַדְמָתָ֑ם H127 them upon their land וְלֹ֨א H3808 not יִנָּתְשׁ֜וּ H5428 and they shall no more be pulled up ע֗וֹד H5750 again מֵעַ֤ל H5921 out אַדְמָתָם֙ H127 out of their land אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Which נָתַ֣תִּי H5414 which I have given לָהֶ֔ם H1992 them אָמַ֖ר H559 them saith יְהוָ֥ה H3069 God אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ H430 thy God
