² שִׁמְעוּ־ H8085 Hear זֹאת֙ H2063 O הַזְּקֵנִ֔ים H2205 this ye old men וְהַֽאֲזִ֔ינוּ H238 and give ear כֹּ֖ל H3605 all יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י H3427 all ye inhabitants הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 of the land הֶהָ֤יְתָה H1961 happened זֹּאת֙ H2063 in בִּֽימֵיכֶ֔ם H3117 Hath this been in your days וְאִ֖ם H518 or even בִּימֵ֥י H3117 in the days אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ H1 your fathers'

³ עָלֶ֖יהָ H5921 and לִבְנֵיכֶ֣ם H1121 ye your children סַפֵּ֑רוּ H5608 Tell וּבְנֵיכֶם֙ H1121 of it and your children לִבְנֵיהֶ֔ם H1121 their children וּבְנֵיהֶ֖ם H1121 and their children לְד֥וֹר H1755 generation אַחֵֽר׃ H312 another

⁵ הָקִ֤יצוּ H6974 Awake שִׁכּוֹרִים֙ H7910 ye drunkards וּבְכ֔וּ H1058 and weep וְהֵילִ֖לוּ H3213 and howl כָּל־ H3605 all שֹׁ֣תֵי H8354 all ye drinkers יָ֑יִן H3196 of wine עַל־ H5921 account עָסִ֕יס H6071 because of the new wine כִּ֥י H3588 That נִכְרַ֖ת H3772 for it is cut off מִפִּיכֶֽם׃ H6310 from your mouth

⁶ כִּֽי־ H3588 For גוֹי֙ H1471 For a nation עָלָ֣ה H5927 is come up עַל־ H5921 and אַרְצִ֔י H776 upon my land עָצ֖וּם H6099 strong וְאֵ֣ין H369 and without מִסְפָּ֑ר H4557 and without number שִׁנָּיו֙ H8127 whose teeth שִׁנֵּ֣י H8127 the teeth אַרְיֵ֔ה H738 of a lion וּֽמְתַלְּע֥וֹת H4973 and he hath the cheek teeth לָבִ֖יא H3833 of a great lion לֽוֹ׃ H0

¹⁰ שֻׁדַּ֣ד H7703 is wasted שָׂדֶ֔ה H7704 The field אָבְלָ֖ה H56 mourneth אֲדָמָ֑ה H127 the land כִּ֚י H3588 for שֻׁדַּ֣ד H7703 is wasted דָּגָ֔ן H1715 for the corn הוֹבִ֥ישׁ H3001 is dried up תִּיר֖וֹשׁ H8492 the new wine אֻמְלַ֥ל H536 weak יִצְהָֽר׃ H3323 the oil

¹¹ הֹבִ֣ישׁוּ H954 be ashamed אִכָּרִ֗ים H406 O ye husbandmen הֵילִ֙ילוּ֙ H3213 howl כֹּֽרְמִ֔ים H3755 O ye vinedressers עַל־ H5921 For חִטָּ֖ה H2406 for the wheat וְעַל־ H5921 and שְׂעֹרָ֑ה H8184 and for the barley כִּ֥י H3588 Because אָבַ֖ד H6 is perished קְצִ֥יר H7105 because the harvest שָׂדֶֽה׃ H7704 of the field

¹² הַגֶּ֣פֶן H1612 The vine הוֹבִ֔ישָׁה H3001 is dried up וְהַתְּאֵנָ֖ה H8384 and the fig tree אֻמְלָ֑לָה H535 languisheth רִמּ֞וֹן H7416 the pomegranate גַּם־ H1571 also תָּמָ֣ר H8558 tree the palm tree וְתַפּ֗וּחַ H8598 also and the apple tree כָּל־ H3605 All עֲצֵ֤י H6086 all the trees הַשָּׂדֶה֙ H7704 of the field יָבֵ֔שׁוּ H3001 are withered כִּֽי־ H3588 Indeed הֹבִ֥ישׁ H3001 is withered away שָׂשׂ֖וֹן H8342 because joy מִן־ H4480 From בְּנֵ֥י H1121 from the sons אָדָֽם׃ H120 of men ס

¹⁴ קַדְּשׁוּ־ H6942 Sanctify צוֹם֙ H6685 ye a fast קִרְא֣וּ H7121 call עֲצָרָ֔ה H6116 a solemn assembly אִסְפ֣וּ H622 gather זְקֵנִ֗ים H2205 the elders כֹּ֚ל H3605 all יֹשְׁבֵ֣י H3427 all the inhabitants הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 of the land בֵּ֖ית H1004 the house יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of the LORD אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם H430 your God וְזַעֲק֖וּ H2199 and cry אֶל־ H413 to יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 unto the LORD

¹⁵ אֲהָ֖הּ H162 Alas לַיּ֑וֹם H3117 for the day כִּ֤י H3588 for קָרוֹב֙ H7138 at hand י֣וֹם H3117 for the day יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD וּכְשֹׁ֖ד H7701 and as a destruction מִשַׁדַּ֥י H7706 from the Almighty יָבֽוֹא׃ H935 shall it come

¹⁶ הֲל֛וֹא H3808 not נֶ֥גֶד H5048 before עֵינֵ֖ינוּ H5869 before our eyes אֹ֣כֶל H400 Is not the meat נִכְרָ֑ת H3772 cut off מִבֵּ֥ית H1004 from the house אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ H430 angels שִׂמְחָ֥ה H8057 joy וָגִֽיל׃ H1524 and gladness

¹⁷ עָבְשׁ֣וּ H5685 is rotten פְרֻד֗וֹת H6507 The seed תַּ֚חַת H8478 under מֶגְרְפֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם H4053 under their clods נָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ H8074 are laid desolate אֹֽצָר֔וֹת H214 the garners נֶהֶרְס֖וּ H2040 are broken down מַמְּגֻר֑וֹת H4460 the barns כִּ֥י H3588 for הֹבִ֖ישׁ H3001 is withered דָּגָֽן׃ H1715 for the corn

¹⁸ מַה־ H4100 How נֶּאֶנְחָ֣ה H584 groan בְהֵמָ֗ה H929 How do the beasts נָבֹ֙כוּ֙ H943 are perplexed עֶדְרֵ֣י H5739 the herds בָקָ֔ר H1241 of cattle כִּ֛י H3588 Because אֵ֥ין H369 there מִרְעֶ֖ה H4829 because they have no pasture לָהֶ֑ם H1992 them גַּם־ H1571 Even עֶדְרֵ֥י H5739 yea the flocks הַצֹּ֖אן H6629 of sheep נֶאְשָֽׁמוּ׃ H816 are made desolate

¹⁹ אֵלֶ֥יךָ H413 to you יְהוָ֖ה H3068 O LORD אֶקְרָ֑א H7121 to thee will I cry כִּ֣י H3588 For אֵ֗שׁ H784 for the fire אָֽכְלָה֙ H398 hath devoured נְא֣וֹת H4999 the pastures מִדְבָּ֔ר H4057 of the wilderness וְלֶ֣הָבָ֔ה H3852 and the flame לִהֲטָ֖ה H3857 hath burned כָּל־ H3605 all עֲצֵ֥י H6086 all the trees הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ H7704 of the field

²⁰ גַּם־ H1571 Even בַּהֲמ֥וֹת H929 The beasts שָׂדֶ֖ה H7704 of the field תַּעֲר֣וֹג H6165 cry אֵלֶ֑יךָ H413 about כִּ֤י H3588 for יָֽבְשׁוּ֙ H3001 are dried up אֲפִ֣יקֵי H650 also unto thee for the rivers מָ֔יִם H4325 of waters וְאֵ֕שׁ H784 and the fire אָכְלָ֖ה H398 hath devoured נְא֥וֹת H4999 the pastures הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 of the wilderness פ

¹ תִּקְע֨וּ H8628 Blow שׁוֹפָ֜ר H7782 ye the trumpet בְּצִיּ֗וֹן H6726 in Zion וְהָרִ֙יעוּ֙ H7321 and sound an alarm בְּהַ֣ר H2022 mountain קָדְשִׁ֔י H6944 in my holy יִרְגְּז֕וּ H7264 tremble כֹּ֖ל H3605 all יֹשְׁבֵ֣י H3427 let all the inhabitants הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 of the land כִּֽי־ H3588 Surely בָ֥א H935 cometh יוֹם־ H3117 for the day יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD כִּ֥י H3588 Surely קָרֽוֹב׃ H7138 for nigh at hand

² י֧וֹם H3117 A day חֹ֣שֶׁךְ H2822 of darkness וַאֲפֵלָ֗ה H653 and of gloominess י֤וֹם H3117 a day עָנָן֙ H6051 of clouds וַעֲרָפֶ֔ל H6205 and of thick darkness כְּשַׁ֖חַר H7837 as the morning פָּרֻ֣שׂ H6566 spread עַל־ H5921 over הֶֽהָרִ֑ים H2022 upon the mountains עַ֚ם H5971 people רַ֣ב H7227 a great וְעָצ֔וּם H6099 and a strong כָּמֹ֗הוּ H3644 like לֹ֤א H3808 Nor נִֽהְיָה֙ H1961 there hath not been מִן־ H4480 at הָ֣עוֹלָ֔ם H5769 ever וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ H310 after לֹ֣א H3808 Nor יוֹסֵ֔ף H3254 the like neither shall be any more עַד־ H5704 against שְׁנֵ֖י H8141 it to the years דּ֥וֹר H1755 of many וָדֽוֹר׃ H1755 generations

³ לְפָנָיו֙ H6440 before אָ֣כְלָה H398 devoureth אֵ֔שׁ H784 A fire וְאַחֲרָ֖יו H310 them and behind תְּלַהֵ֣ט H3857 burneth לֶֽהָבָ֑ה H3852 them a flame כְּגַן־ H1588 as the garden עֵ֨דֶן H5731 of Eden הָאָ֜רֶץ H776 the land לְפָנָ֗יו H6440 before וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ H310 them and behind מִדְבַּ֣ר H4057 wilderness שְׁמָמָ֔ה H8077 them a desolate וְגַם־ H1571 all פְּלֵיטָ֖ה H6413 yea and nothing shall escape לֹא־ H3808 and nothing הָ֥יְתָה H1961 become לּֽוֹ׃ H0

⁴ כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה H4758 The appearance סוּסִ֖ים H5483 of horses מַרְאֵ֑הוּ H4758 of them as the appearance וּכְפָרָשִׁ֖ים H6571 and as horsemen כֵּ֥ן H3651 so יְרוּצֽוּן׃ H7323 so shall they run

⁵ כְּק֣וֹל H6963 Like the noise מַרְכָּב֗וֹת H4818 of chariots עַל־ H5921 on רָאשֵׁ֤י H7218 on the tops הֶֽהָרִים֙ H2022 of mountains יְרַקֵּד֔וּן H7540 shall they leap כְּקוֹל֙ H6963 like the noise לַ֣הַב H3851 of a flame אֵ֔שׁ H784 of fire אֹכְלָ֖ה H398 that devoureth קָ֑שׁ H7179 the stubble כְּעַ֣ם H5971 people עָצ֔וּם H6099 as a strong עֱר֖וּךְ H6186 array מִלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 set in battle

⁶ מִפָּנָ֖יו H6440 Before their face יָחִ֣ילוּ H2342 shall be much pained עַמִּ֑ים H5971 the people כָּל־ H3605 All פָּנִ֖ים H6440 all faces קִבְּצ֥וּ H6908 shall gather פָארֽוּר׃ H6289 blackness

⁷ כְּגִבּוֹרִ֣ים H1368 like mighty men יְרֻצ֔וּן H7323 They shall run כְּאַנְשֵׁ֥י H376 every one מִלְחָמָ֖ה H4421 of war יַעֲל֣וּ H5927 they shall climb חוֹמָ֑ה H2346 the wall וְאִ֤ישׁ H376 each בִּדְרָכָיו֙ H1870 on his ways יֵֽלֵכ֔וּן H1980 march וְלֹ֥א H3808 Nor יְעַבְּט֖וּן H5670 and they shall not break אֹרְחוֹתָֽם׃ H734 their ranks

⁸ וְאִ֤ישׁ H376 Neither shall one אָחִיו֙ H251 another לֹ֣א H3808 not יִדְחָק֔וּן H1766 thrust גֶּ֥בֶר H1397 every one בִּמְסִלָּת֖וֹ H4546 in his path יֵֽלֵכ֑וּן H1980 march וּבְעַ֥ד H1157 through הַשֶּׁ֛לַח H7973 upon the sword יִפֹּ֖לוּ H5307 and they fall לֹ֥א H3808 not יִבְצָֽעוּ׃ H1214 they shall not be wounded

⁹ בָּעִ֣יר H5892 in the city יָשֹׁ֗קּוּ H8264 They shall run to and fro בַּֽחוֹמָה֙ H2346 upon the wall יְרֻצ֔וּן H7323 they shall run בַּבָּתִּ֖ים H1004 upon the houses יַעֲל֑וּ H5927 they shall climb up בְּעַ֧ד H1157 through הַחַלּוֹנִ֛ים H2474 at the windows יָבֹ֖אוּ H935 they shall enter in כַּגַּנָּֽב׃ H1590 like a thief

¹⁰ לְפָנָיו֙ H6440 before רָ֣גְזָה H7264 shall quake אֶ֔רֶץ H776 The earth רָעֲשׁ֖וּ H7493 shall tremble שָׁמָ֑יִם H8064 them the heavens שֶׁ֤מֶשׁ H8121 the sun וְיָרֵ֙חַ֙ H3394 and the moon קָדָ֔רוּ H6937 shall be dark וְכוֹכָבִ֖ים H3556 and the stars אָסְפ֥וּ H622 shall withdraw נָגְהָֽם׃ H5051 their shining

¹¹ וַֽיהוָ֗ה H3069 God נָתַ֤ן H5414 shall utter קוֹלוֹ֙ H6963 his voice לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 before חֵיל֔וֹ H2426 army כִּ֣י H3588 Surely רַ֤ב H7227 great מְאֹד֙ H3966 very מַחֲנֵ֔הוּ H4264 for his camp כִּ֥י H3588 is indeed עָצ֖וּם H6099 for strong עֹשֵׂ֣ה H6213 that executeth דְבָר֑וֹ H1697 his word כִּֽי־ H3588 Surely גָד֧וֹל H1419 great יוֹם־ H3117 for the day יְהוָ֛ה H3069 God וְנוֹרָ֥א H3372 terrible מְאֹ֖ד H3966 and very וּמִ֥י H4310 can יְכִילֶֽנּוּ׃ H3557 and who can abide

¹² וְגַם־ H1571 even עַתָּה֙ H6258 now נְאֻם־ H5002 Therefore also now saith יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the LORD שֻׁ֥בוּ H7725 turn עָדַ֖י H5704 with בְּכָל־ H3605 all לְבַבְכֶ֑ם H3824 ye to me with all your heart וּבְצ֥וֹם H6685 and with fasting וּבְבְכִ֖י H1065 and with weeping וּבְמִסְפֵּֽד׃ H4553 and with mourning

¹³ וְקִרְע֤וּ H7167 And rend לְבַבְכֶם֙ H3824 your heart וְאַל־ H408 and not בִּגְדֵיכֶ֔ם H899 and not your garments וְשׁ֖וּבוּ H7725 and turn אֶל־ H413 to יְהוָ֣ה H3068 unto the LORD אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֑ם H430 your God כִּֽי־ H3588 for חַנּ֤וּן H2587 for he gracious וְרַחוּם֙ H7349 and merciful ה֔וּא H1931 he אֶ֤רֶךְ H750 slow אַפַּ֙יִם֙ H639 to anger וְרַב־ H7227 and of great חֶ֔סֶד H2617 kindness וְנִחָ֖ם H5162 and repenteth עַל־ H5921 and הָרָעָֽה׃ H7451 him of the evil

¹⁴ מִ֥י H4310 Who יוֹדֵ֖עַ H3045 Who knoweth יָשׁ֣וּב H7725 he will return וְנִחָ֑ם H5162 and repent וְהִשְׁאִ֤יר H7604 and leave אַֽחֲרָיו֙ H310 behind בְּרָכָ֔ה H1293 a blessing מִנְחָ֣ה H4503 him a meat offering וָנֶ֔סֶךְ H5262 and a drink offering לַיהוָ֖ה H3068 unto the LORD אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ H430 angels פ

¹⁶ אִסְפוּ־ H622 Gather עָ֞ם H5971 the people קַדְּשׁ֤וּ H6942 sanctify קָהָל֙ H6951 the congregation קִבְצ֣וּ H6908 assemble זְקֵנִ֔ים H2205 the elders אִסְפוּ֙ H622 gather עֽוֹלָלִ֔ים H5768 the children וְיֹנְקֵ֖י H3243 and those that suck שָׁדָ֑יִם H7699 the breasts יֵצֵ֤א H3318 go forth חָתָן֙ H2860 let the bridegroom מֵֽחֶדְר֔וֹ H2315 of his chamber וְכַלָּ֖ה H3618 and the bride מֵחֻפָּתָֽהּ׃ H2646 out of her closet

¹⁷ בֵּ֤ין H996 between הָאוּלָם֙ H197 between the porch וְלַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ H4196 and the altar יִבְכּוּ֙ H1058 weep הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים H3548 Let the priests מְשָׁרְתֵ֖י H8334 the ministers יְהוָ֑ה H3068 of the LORD וְֽיֹאמְר֞וּ H559 and let them say ח֧וּסָה H2347 Spare יְהוָ֣ה H3068 O LORD עַל־ H5921 and עַמֶּ֗ךָ H5971 thy people וְאַל־ H408 not תִּתֵּ֨ן H5414 and give נַחֲלָתְךָ֤ H5159 not thine heritage לְחֶרְפָּה֙ H2781 to reproach לִמְשָׁל־ H4910 should rule over בָּ֣ם H0 גּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 that the heathen לָ֚מָּה H4100 Why יֹאמְר֣וּ H559 them wherefore should they say בָֽעַמִּ֔ים H5971 among the people אַיֵּ֖ה H346 Where אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ H430 angels

¹⁸ וַיְקַנֵּ֥א H7065 be jealous יְהוָ֖ה H3068 Then will the LORD לְאַרְצ֑וֹ H776 for his land וַיַּחְמֹ֖ל H2550 and pity עַל־ H5921 on עַמּֽוֹ׃ H5971 his people

¹⁹ וַיַּ֨עַן H6030 will answer יְהוָ֜ה H3068 Yea the LORD וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 and say לְעַמּ֗וֹ H5971 unto his people הִנְנִ֨י H2005 I am going שֹׁלֵ֤חַ H7971 Behold I will send לָכֶם֙ H0 אֶת־ H853 הַדָּגָן֙ H1715 you corn וְהַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ H8492 and wine וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר H3323 and oil וּשְׂבַעְתֶּ֖ם H7646 and ye shall be satisfied אֹת֑וֹ H854 and I וְלֹא־ H3808 will never אֶתֵּ֨ן H5414 therewith and I will no more make אֶתְכֶ֥ם H853 ע֛וֹד H5750 again חֶרְפָּ֖ה H2781 you a reproach בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ H1471 among the heathen

²⁰ וְֽאֶת־ H853 הַצְּפוֹנִ֞י H6830 from you the northern אַרְחִ֣יק H7368 But I will remove far off מֵעֲלֵיכֶ֗ם H5921 and I וְהִדַּחְתִּיו֮ H5080 and will drive אֶל־ H413 about אֶ֣רֶץ H776 him into a land צִיָּ֣ה H6723 barren וּשְׁמָמָה֒ H8077 and desolate אֶת־ H854 and its פָּנָ֗יו H6440 with his face אֶל־ H413 about הַיָּם֙ H3220 sea הַקַּדְמֹנִ֔י H6931 toward the east וְסֹפ֖וֹ H5490 and his hinder part אֶל־ H413 about הַיָּ֣ם H3220 sea הָאַֽחֲר֑וֹן H314 toward the utmost וְעָלָ֣ה H5927 shall come up בָאְשׁ֗וֹ H889 and his stink וְתַ֙עַל֙ H5927 shall come up צַחֲנָת֔וֹ H6709 and his ill savour כִּ֥י H3588 for הִגְדִּ֖יל H1431 great things לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ H6213 because he hath done

²⁵ וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֤י H7999 And I will restore לָכֶם֙ H0 אֶת־ H853 הַשָּׁנִ֔ים H8141 to you the years אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 which אָכַ֣ל H398 hath eaten הָֽאַרְבֶּ֔ה H697 that the locust הַיֶּ֖לֶק H3218 the cankerworm וְהֶחָסִ֣יל H2625 and the caterpiller וְהַגָּזָ֑ם H1501 and the palmerworm חֵילִי֙ H2426 army הַגָּד֔וֹל H1419 my great אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which שִׁלַּ֖חְתִּי H7971 which I sent בָּכֶֽם׃ H0

²⁹ וְגַ֥ם H1571 Even עַל־ H5921 on הָֽעֲבָדִ֖ים H5650 And also upon the servants וְעַל־ H5921 and הַשְּׁפָח֑וֹת H8198 and upon the handmaids בַּיָּמִ֣ים H3117 in those days הָהֵ֔מָּה H1992 those אֶשְׁפּ֖וֹךְ H8210 will I pour out אֶת־ H853 רוּחִֽי׃ H7307 my spirit

³⁰ וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ H5414 And I will shew מֽוֹפְתִ֔ים H4159 wonders בַּשָּׁמַ֖יִם H8064 in the heavens וּבָאָ֑רֶץ H776 and in the earth דָּ֣ם H1818 blood וָאֵ֔שׁ H784 and fire וְתִֽימֲר֖וֹת H8490 and pillars עָשָֽׁן׃ H6227 of smoke

³¹ הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ H8121 The sun יֵהָפֵ֣ךְ H2015 shall be turned לְחֹ֔שֶׁךְ H2822 into darkness וְהַיָּרֵ֖חַ H3394 and the moon לְדָ֑ם H1818 into blood לִפְנֵ֗י H6440 before בּ֚וֹא H935 come י֣וֹם H3117 day יְהוָ֔ה H3068 of the LORD הַגָּד֖וֹל H1419 the great וְהַנּוֹרָֽא׃ H3372 and the terrible

³² וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 will come כֹּ֧ל H3605 all manner אֲשֶׁר־ H834 whom יִקְרָ֛א H7121 And it shall come to pass whosoever shall call בְּשֵׁ֥ם H8034 on the name יְהוָ֖ה H3068 of the LORD יִמָּלֵ֑ט H4422 shall be delivered כִּ֠י H3588 on בְּהַר־ H2022 for in mount צִיּ֨וֹן H6726 Zion וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֜ם H3389 and in Jerusalem תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 will come פְלֵיטָ֗ה H6413 shall be deliverance כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 whom אָמַ֣ר H559 hath said יְהוָ֔ה H3068 as the LORD וּבַ֨שְּׂרִידִ֔ים H8300 and in the remnant אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whom יְהוָ֖ה H3068 whom the LORD קֹרֵֽא׃ H7121 shall call

¹ כִּ֗י H3588 For הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 behold בַּיָּמִ֥ים H3117 For behold in those days הָהֵ֖מָּה H1992 those וּבָעֵ֣ת H6256 and in that time הַהִ֑יא H1931 he אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 When <אָשׁוּב כ> (אָשִׁ֛יב H7725 break ק) אֶת־ H853 שְׁב֥וּת H7622 the captivity יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah וִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 and Jerusalem

² וְקִבַּצְתִּי֙ H6908 I will also gather אֶת־ H853 כָּל־ H3605 all הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 all nations וְה֣וֹרַדְתִּ֔ים H3381 and will bring them down אֶל־ H413 to עֵ֖מֶק H6010 into the valley יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֑ט H3092 of Jehoshaphat וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֨י H8199 and will plead עִמָּ֜ם H5973 them שָׁ֗ם H8033 there עַל־ H5921 behalf עַמִּ֨י H5971 with them there for my people וְנַחֲלָתִ֤י H5159 and my heritage יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 Israel אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Whom פִּזְּר֣וּ H6340 whom they have scattered בַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 among the nations וְאֶת־ H853 אַרְצִ֖י H776 my land חִלֵּֽקוּ׃ H2505 and parted

³ וְאֶל־ H413 about עַמִּ֖י H5971 for my people יַדּ֣וּ H3032 And they have cast גוֹרָ֑ל H1486 lots וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ H5414 and have given הַיֶּ֙לֶד֙ H3206 a boy בַּזּוֹנָ֔ה H2181 for an harlot וְהַיַּלְדָּ֛ה H3207 a girl מָכְר֥וּ H4376 and sold בַיַּ֖יִן H3196 for wine וַיִּשְׁתּֽוּ׃ H8354 that they might drink

⁴ וְ֠גַם H1571 Moreover מָה־ H4100 what אַתֶּ֥ם H859 you לִי֙ H0 צֹ֣ר H6865 Yea and what have ye to do with me O Tyre וְצִיד֔וֹן H6721 and Zidon וְכֹ֖ל H3605 and all גְּלִיל֣וֹת H1552 and all the coasts פְּלָ֑שֶׁת H6429 Palestina הַגְּמ֗וּל H1576 your recompence אַתֶּם֙ H859 you מְשַׁלְּמִ֣ים H7999 make amends עָלָ֔י H5921 and וְאִם־ H518 do גֹּמְלִ֤ים H1580 recompense אַתֶּם֙ H859 you עָלַ֔י H5921 and קַ֣ל H7031 me swiftly מְהֵרָ֔ה H4120 speedily אָשִׁ֥יב H7725 will I return גְּמֻלְכֶ֖ם H1576 your recompense בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ H7218 upon your own head

⁵ אֲשֶׁר־ H834 Since כַּסְפִּ֥י H3701 my silver וּזְהָבִ֖י H2091 and my gold לְקַחְתֶּ֑ם H3947 Because ye have taken וּמַֽחֲמַדַּי֙ H4261 pleasant things הַטֹּבִ֔ים H2896 my goodly הֲבֵאתֶ֖ם H935 and have carried לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶֽם׃ H1964 into your temples

⁶ וּבְנֵ֤י H1121 The children יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 also of Judah וּבְנֵ֣י H1121 and the children יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 of Jerusalem מְכַרְתֶּ֖ם H4376 have ye sold לִבְנֵ֣י H1121 the sons הַיְּוָנִ֑ים H3125 to the Greeks לְמַ֥עַן H4616 order הַרְחִיקָ֖ם H7368 that ye might remove them far מֵעַ֥ל H5921 from גְּבוּלָֽם׃ H1366 from their border

⁷ הִנְנִ֣י H2005 I am going מְעִירָ֔ם H5782 Behold I will raise מִן־ H4480 from הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם H4725 them out of the place אֲשֶׁר־ H834 you מְכַרְתֶּ֥ם H4376 whither ye have sold אֹתָ֖ם H853 שָׁ֑מָּה H8033 them וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י H7725 them and will return גְמֻלְכֶ֖ם H1576 your recompence בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ H7218 upon your own head

⁸ וּמָכַרְתִּ֞י H4376 And I will sell אֶת־ H853 בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם H1121 your sons וְאֶת־ H853 בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם H1323 and your daughters בְּיַד֙ H3027 into the hand בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of the children יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah וּמְכָר֥וּם H4376 and they shall sell לִשְׁבָאיִ֖ם H7615 them to the Sabeans אֶל־ H413 about גּ֣וֹי H1471 to a people רָח֑וֹק H7350 far off כִּ֥י H3588 for יְהוָ֖ה H3068 for the LORD דִּבֵּֽר׃ H1696 hath spoken ס

⁹ קִרְאוּ־ H7121 Proclaim זֹאת֙ H2063 likewise בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 ye this among the Gentiles קַדְּשׁ֖וּ H6942 Prepare מִלְחָמָ֑ה H4421 war הָעִ֙ירוּ֙ H5782 wake up הַגִּבּוֹרִ֔ים H1368 the mighty men יִגְּשׁ֣וּ H5066 draw near יַֽעֲל֔וּ H5927 let them come up כֹּ֖ל H3605 all אַנְשֵׁ֥י H582 let all the men הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 of war

¹⁰ כֹּ֤תּוּ H3807 Beat אִתֵּיכֶם֙ H855 your plowshares לַֽחֲרָב֔וֹת H2719 into swords וּמַזְמְרֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם H4211 and your pruninghooks לִרְמָחִ֑ים H7420 into spears הַֽחַלָּ֔שׁ H2523 let the weak יֹאמַ֖ר H559 say גִּבּ֥וֹר H1368 I strong אָֽנִי׃ H589 I

¹³ שִׁלְח֣וּ H7971 Put מַגָּ֔ל H4038 ye in the sickle כִּ֥י H3588 for בָשַׁ֖ל H1310 is ripe קָצִ֑יר H7105 for the harvest בֹּ֤אֽוּ H935 come רְדוּ֙ H3381 get you down כִּֽי־ H3588 for מָ֣לְאָה H4390 is full גַּ֔ת H1660 for the press הֵשִׁ֙יקוּ֙ H7783 overflow הַיְקָבִ֔ים H3342 the fats כִּ֥י H3588 for רַבָּ֖ה H7227 great רָעָתָֽם׃ H7451 for their wickedness

¹⁵ שֶׁ֥מֶשׁ H8121 The sun וְיָרֵ֖חַ H3394 and the moon קָדָ֑רוּ H6937 shall be darkened וְכוֹכָבִ֖ים H3556 and the stars אָסְפ֥וּ H622 shall withdraw נָגְהָֽם׃ H5051 their shining

¹⁶ וַיהוָ֞ה H3068 The LORD מִצִּיּ֣וֹן H6726 out of Zion יִשְׁאָ֗ג H7580 also shall roar וּמִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 from Jerusalem יִתֵּ֣ן H5414 and utter קוֹל֔וֹ H6963 his voice וְרָעֲשׁ֖וּ H7493 shall shake שָׁמַ֣יִם H8064 and the heavens וָאָ֑רֶץ H776 and the earth וַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 but the LORD מַֽחֲסֶ֣ה H4268 the hope לְעַמּ֔וֹ H5971 of his people וּמָע֖וֹז H4581 and the strength לִבְנֵ֥י H1121 of the children יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 of Israel

¹⁷ וִֽידַעְתֶּ֗ם H3045 So shall ye know כִּ֣י H3588 that אֲנִ֤י H589 I am יְהוָה֙ H3068 that I the LORD אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם H430 your God שֹׁכֵ֖ן H7931 dwelling בְּצִיּ֣וֹן H6726 in Zion הַר־ H2022 mountain קָדְשִׁ֑י H6944 my holy וְהָיְתָ֤ה H1961 become יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ H3389 then shall Jerusalem קֹ֔דֶשׁ H6944 be holy וְזָרִ֥ים H2114 and there shall no strangers לֹא־ H3808 no יַֽעַבְרוּ־ H5674 pass through בָ֖הּ H0 עֽוֹד׃ H5750 more ס

¹⁸ וְהָיָה֩ H1961 become בַיּ֨וֹם H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day הַה֜וּא H1931 he יִטְּפ֧וּ H5197 shall drop down הֶהָרִ֣ים H2022 the mountains עָסִ֗יס H6071 new wine וְהַגְּבָעוֹת֙ H1389 and the hills תֵּלַ֣כְנָה H1980 will flow חָלָ֔ב H2461 with milk וְכָל־ H3605 and all אֲפִיקֵ֥י H650 and all the rivers יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 of Judah יֵ֣לְכוּ H1980 will flow מָ֑יִם H4325 with waters וּמַעְיָ֗ן H4599 and a fountain מִבֵּ֤ית H1004 of the house יְהוָה֙ H3068 of the LORD יֵצֵ֔א H3318 shall come forth וְהִשְׁקָ֖ה H8248 and shall water אֶת־ H853 נַ֥חַל H5158 the valley הַשִּׁטִּֽים׃ H7851 of Shittim

¹⁹ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 Egypt לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה H8077 shall be a desolation תִֽהְיֶ֔ה H1961 will become וֶאֱד֕וֹם H123 and Edom לְמִדְבַּ֥ר H4057 wilderness שְׁמָמָ֖ה H8077 shall be a desolate תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה H1961 will become מֵֽחֲמַס֙ H2555 for the violence בְּנֵ֣י H1121 the children יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 of Judah אֲשֶׁר־ H834 whose שָׁפְכ֥וּ H8210 because they have shed דָם־ H1818 blood נָקִ֖יא H5355 innocent בְּאַרְצָֽם׃ H776 in their land

²⁰ וִיהוּדָ֖ה H3063 But Judah לְעוֹלָ֣ם H5769 for ever תֵּשֵׁ֑ב H3427 shall dwell וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 and Jerusalem לְד֥וֹר H1755 from generation וָדֽוֹר׃ H1755 to generation

²¹ וְנִקֵּ֖יתִי H5352 For I will cleanse דָּמָ֣ם H1818 their blood לֹֽא־ H3808 have not נִקֵּ֑יתִי H5352 I have not cleansed וַֽיהוָ֖ה H3068 for the LORD שֹׁכֵ֥ן H7931 dwelleth בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃ H6726 in Zion
