²⁴ מְגוֹרַ֣ת H4034 The fear רָ֭שָׁע H7563 of the wicked הִ֣יא H1931 he תְבוֹאֶ֑נּוּ H935 it shall come וְתַאֲוַ֖ת H8378 upon him but the desire צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 of the righteous יִתֵּֽן׃ H5414 shall be granted

²⁵ כַּעֲב֣וֹר H5674 passeth ס֭וּפָה H5492 As the whirlwind וְאֵ֣ין H369 is no רָשָׁ֑ע H7563 so the wicked וְ֝צַדִּ֗יק H6662 no but the righteous יְס֣וֹד H3247 foundation עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 an everlasting

²⁶ כַּחֹ֤מֶץ ׀ H2558 As vinegar לַשִּׁנַּ֗יִם H8127 to the teeth וְכֶעָשָׁ֥ן H6227 and as smoke לָעֵינָ֑יִם H5869 to the eyes כֵּ֥ן H3651 So הֶ֝עָצֵ֗ל H6102 so the sluggard לְשֹׁלְחָֽיו׃ H7971 to them that send

²⁷ יִרְאַ֣ת H3374 The fear יְ֭הוָה H3068 of the LORD תּוֹסִ֣יף H3254 prolongeth יָמִ֑ים H3117 days וּשְׁנ֖וֹת H8141 but the years רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 of the wicked תִּקְצֹֽרְנָה׃ H7114 shall be shortened

²⁸ תּוֹחֶ֣לֶת H8431 The hope צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 of the righteous שִׂמְחָ֑ה H8057 gladness וְתִקְוַ֖ת H8615 but the expectation רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 of the wicked תֹּאבֵֽד׃ H6 shall perish

²⁹ מָע֣וֹז H4581 strength לַ֭תֹּם H8537 to the upright דֶּ֣רֶךְ H1870 The way יְהוָ֑ה H3068 of the LORD וּ֝מְחִתָּ֗ה H4288 but destruction לְפֹ֣עֲלֵי H6466 to the workers אָֽוֶן׃ H205 of iniquity

³⁰ צַדִּ֣יק H6662 The righteous לְעוֹלָ֣ם H5769 shall never בַּל־ H1077 lest יִמּ֑וֹט H4131 be removed וּ֝רְשָׁעִ֗ים H7563 but the wicked לֹ֣א H3808 will not יִשְׁכְּנוּ־ H7931 shall not inhabit אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 the earth

³¹ פִּֽי־ H6310 The mouth צַ֭דִּיק H6662 of the just יָנ֣וּב H5107 bringeth forth חָכְמָ֑ה H2451 wisdom וּלְשׁ֥וֹן H3956 tongue תַּ֝הְפֻּכ֗וֹת H8419 but the froward תִּכָּרֵֽת׃ H3772 shall be cut out

² בָּֽא־ H935 cometh זָ֭דוֹן H2087 pride וַיָּבֹ֣א H935 then cometh קָל֑וֹן H7036 shame וְֽאֶת־ H854 with צְנוּעִ֥ים H6800 but with the lowly חָכְמָֽה׃ H2451 wisdom

³ תֻּמַּ֣ת H8538 The integrity יְשָׁרִ֣ים H3477 of the upright תַּנְחֵ֑ם H5148 shall guide וְסֶ֖לֶף H5558 them but the perverseness בּוֹגְדִ֣ים H898 of transgressors <וְשַׁדָּם כ> (יְשָׁדֵּֽם׃ H7703 dead ק)

⁹ בְּפֶ֗ה H6310 with mouth חָ֭נֵף H2611 An hypocrite יַשְׁחִ֣ת H7843 destroyeth רֵעֵ֑הוּ H7453 his neighbour וּ֝בְדַ֗עַת H1847 but through knowledge צַדִּיקִ֥ים H6662 shall the just יֵחָלֵֽצוּ׃ H2502 be delivered

¹⁰ בְּט֣וּב H2898 When it goeth well צַ֭דִּיקִים H6662 with the righteous תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ H5970 rejoiceth קִרְיָ֑ה H7151 the city וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד H6 perish רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 and when the wicked רִנָּֽה׃ H7440 shouting

¹² בָּז־ H936 despiseth לְרֵעֵ֥הוּ H7453 his neighbour חֲסַר־ H2638 He that is void לֵ֑ב H3820 of wisdom וְאִ֖ישׁ H376 but a man תְּבוּנ֣וֹת H8394 of understanding יַחֲרִֽישׁ׃ H2790 holdeth his peace

¹³ הוֹלֵ֣ךְ H1980 goes רָ֭כִיל H7400 A talebearer מְגַלֶּה־ H1540 revealeth סּ֑וֹד H5475 secrets וְנֶאֱמַן־ H539 but he that is of a faithful ר֝֗וּחַ H7307 spirit מְכַסֶּ֥ה H3680 concealeth דָבָֽר׃ H1697 the matter

¹⁴ בְּאֵ֣ין H369 there תַּ֭חְבֻּלוֹת H8458 Where no counsel יִפָּל־ H5307 fall עָ֑ם H5971 the people וּ֝תְשׁוּעָ֗ה H8668 safety בְּרֹ֣ב H7230 but in the multitude יוֹעֵֽץ׃ H3289 of counsellors

¹⁵ רַע־ H7451 will surely יֵ֭רוֹעַ H7489 suffer כִּי־ H3588 for עָ֣רַב H6148 He that is surety זָ֑ר H2114 for a stranger וְשֹׂנֵ֖א H8130 and he that hateth תֹקְעִ֣ים H8628 suretiship בּוֹטֵֽחַ׃ H982 is sure

¹⁶ אֵֽשֶׁת־ H802 woman חֵ֭ן H2580 A gracious תִּתְמֹ֣ךְ H8551 retaineth כָּב֑וֹד H3519 honour וְ֝עָרִיצִ֗ים H6184 and strong יִתְמְכוּ־ H8551 retain עֹֽשֶׁר׃ H6239 riches

¹⁸ רָשָׁ֗ע H7563 The wicked עֹשֶׂ֥ה H6213 worketh פְעֻלַּת־ H6468 work שָׁ֑קֶר H8267 a deceitful וְזֹרֵ֥עַ H2232 but to him that soweth צְ֝דָקָ֗ה H6666 righteousness שֶׂ֣כֶר H7938 reward אֱמֶֽת׃ H571 a sure

²⁰ תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת H8441 abomination יְ֭הוָה H3068 to the LORD עִקְּשֵׁי־ H6141 They that are of a froward לֵ֑ב H3820 heart וּ֝רְצוֹנ֗וֹ H7522 his delight תְּמִ֣ימֵי H8549 but upright דָֽרֶךְ׃ H1870 in way

²¹ יָ֣ד H3027 hand לְ֭יָד H3027 in hand לֹא־ H3808 will not יִנָּ֣קֶה H5352 shall not be unpunished רָּ֑ע H7451 the wicked וְזֶ֖רַע H2233 but the seed צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 of the righteous נִמְלָֽט׃ H4422 shall be delivered

²² נֶ֣זֶם H5141 a jewel זָ֭הָב H2091 of gold בְּאַ֣ף H639 snout חֲזִ֑יר H2386 in a swine's אִשָּׁ֥ה H802 woman יָ֝פָ֗ה H3303 a fair וְסָ֣רַת H5493 which is without טָֽעַם׃ H2940 discretion

²³ תַּאֲוַ֣ת H8378 The desire צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 of the righteous אַךְ־ H389 is only ט֑וֹב H2896 only good תִּקְוַ֖ת H8615 the expectation רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 of the wicked עֶבְרָֽה׃ H5678 wrath

²⁴ יֵ֣שׁ H3426 There is מְ֭פַזֵּר H6340 that scattereth וְנוֹסָ֥ף H3254 and yet increaseth ע֑וֹד H5750 all וְחוֹשֵׂ֥ךְ H2820 and that withholdeth מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר H3476 more than is meet אַךְ־ H389 only לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃ H4270 but to poverty

²⁵ נֶֽפֶשׁ־ H5315 soul בְּרָכָ֥ה H1293 The liberal תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן H1878 shall be made fat וּ֝מַרְוֶ֗ה H7301 and he that watereth גַּם־ H1571 again ה֥וּא H1931 will himself יוֹרֶֽא׃ H3384 shall be watered

²⁹ עוֹכֵ֣ר H5916 He that troubleth בֵּ֭יתוֹ H1004 his own house יִנְחַל־ H5157 shall inherit ר֑וּחַ H7307 the wind וְעֶ֥בֶד H5650 servant אֱ֝וִ֗יל H191 and the fool לַחֲכַם־ H2450 to the wise לֵֽב׃ H3820 of heart

³⁰ פְּֽרִי־ H6529 The fruit צַ֭דִּיק H6662 of the righteous עֵ֣ץ H6086 a tree חַיִּ֑ים H2416 of life וְלֹקֵ֖חַ H3947 and he that winneth נְפָשׂ֣וֹת H5315 souls חָכָֽם׃ H2450 wise

⁶ דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 The words רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 of the wicked אֱרָב־ H693 to lie in wait דָּ֑ם H1818 for blood וּפִ֥י H6310 but the mouth יְ֝שָׁרִ֗ים H3477 of the upright יַצִּילֵֽם׃ H5337 shall deliver

⁷ הָפ֣וֹךְ H2015 are overthrown רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 The wicked וְאֵינָ֑ם H369 no וּבֵ֖ית H1004 and not but the house צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 of the righteous יַעֲמֹֽד׃ H5975 shall stand

⁸ לְֽפִי־ H6310 according שִׂ֭כְלוֹ H7922 to his wisdom יְהֻלַּל־ H1984 shall be commended אִ֑ישׁ H376 A man וְנַעֲוֵה־ H5753 but he that is of a perverse לֵ֝֗ב H3820 heart יִהְיֶ֥ה H1961 become לָבֽוּז׃ H937 shall be despised
